How to install cwm recovery on my a700 - Acer Iconia A700 and A510

Hello there,
I am not able to install "cwm recovery" from ROM Manager, or Googleplay.
It says there is no "officially supported cwm recovery" yet.
Is there some other way to install the ClockworkMod Recovery?
Thanks,
A.

You need to install the modded 3e and then cwm recovery.
As per this thread http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=909213 thanks.

I was able to install the hacked 3e recovery but when I go through Rom Manager and tell it to Flash CWM it says it does (tried it three times) yet when I reboot into recovery it still comes up as the 3e hacked.
I figured it out. The flashing was creating an update.zip that then had to be installed. All set with CWM.

[Q] ROM Manager doesn't recognize CWM Recovery ?

Just finished successfully rooting my HTC Vivid, following the wonderful SuperGuide by slapshot30
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1416836&highlight=rom+managerHowever, when I run ROM Manager (freshly installed from the market), it doesn't appear to recognize CWM Recovery even though it's clearly installed.
The ROM Manager version is 5.0.0.6, and the CWM Recovery version is 5.5.0.4
I see that the when I boot into Recovery, it is headlined as "CWM-based Recovery", which is probably why ROM Manager doesn't recognize it, but I'd like to know that such is the case. I tried posting this question in that thread, but I guess I'm too new to be allowed to.
Thanks for any help.

What if I do this? (Samsung SGH-T589R)

So, just recently I've installed dpwguenther's CWM recovery (phandroid forums) which obviously doesn't work. (Just says errors in the log)
Any ways, in ROM manager if I go to the install CWM recovery and go to unsupported device, and click "yes" and "V3+" (It installs v6.0.1.1), what will happen?
Will I get a brick?
Will recovery not work?
Please respond

Problems with recovery flash

So I was able to root my phone and got clockworkmod recovery flashed to the phone, and it boots to it fine.
But something isn't working right.
I notice in clockworkmod rom manager it shows that I have both recovery ROMs installed. And I can try to have it install the TWRP, which it says it does successfully.
But it always boots to CWM recovery.
Any ideas??

When I boot into recovery and try to install zip, it does nothing ( on external sd card)
So I tried via adb sideload, I see the file gets send... but nothing happens.
