I`ve been surfing XDA this morning and found the Android 4.2 Launcher backported to 4.1.
By installing it you get the tablet UI from the Nexus 10, that I really love and it`s really really smooth with Team EOS 81.

I assume when I update my ROM, this will get replaced with the 4.1.2 Launcher again ?
but...nexus 10 doesn't have the normal phone UI?i think flashing this not bring TABUI..at least phoneUI that it's very ugly on a 10".i have it on my phone..and i doesn't change layout.if you are alrrady on tab\phablet\tab ui,it remain the same..

new tabletUI?what's new in what the video show..it's simply a phoneUI on a tablet of 10".look at the nexus 7,when you buy it and don't touch anything(like flash roms with tabui support)it is the same.i don't know the reason (yes i red what google devs sad,but for me it isn't a reason)but it's very ugly.not for nothing most part of n7 users have tabUI patch in it.i think that set the phoneUI on tf,is a bull**** more than on a 7".

That's one of the many reasons I don't use AOSP/KP. But, the status bar at the top and the dock that moves from the bottom to the side is fail and ugly.

I run EOS which doesn't come with the new launcher, I installed it from this thread instead
I like the dock because I line up app groups along the bottom of the normal launcher anyway so it works well, but I never use Google Search from the homescreen so it's just in the way really

I use only this Launcher... :thumbup:
Default density is 200. How about downloading apps from Market, shouldn't have any incompatible issue..? Btw good job on releasing another CM7 based rom.

This is an app ported over from the Lenovo ThinkPad Tablet. It's used for note taking and has handwriting recognition and palm rejection. I find it pretty useful for taking notes for my classes.

Could both of you use a root explorer and check to see if the apk is in /system/app please?
Man somehow I lost this app from my note and have been searching all day to find it and found the thread again finally.!

Palm rejection is not working very well sometimes.

Also it work on my favorite ROM - [ROM]KINGDROID ELEGANCE DELUXE v7.0.0[LC1]and KINGDROID NOTEMANIA.ES EDITION online..
But I install repack by NGP. It include only russian and english language.

It is a well made rom, i personally have used it and have not run into any issues as of yet. It is worth a try, it is slighly modified and slimmed down so it runs quite well
Might've got a bad DL (didn't check md5) but the Play Store icon takes me to the sign in page and then closes when I hit next. Anybody else?

I noticed some custom roms showing up and they all are for the GT-5113 i have the P5110 and want to know if this rom will work on my tablet. Maybe you can tell me the difference between the two devices?
The european version does not have the IR Modul i does not use this Rom but for example with the cleanrom it worked for me to flash a usa Version on my european Tab

Even better, is it possible to remove the entire MiniApps bar? I have the Tab2 for 2 days only, and I already hate the customized navbar...
So far so good, this Rom feels lite on tab and it's a big improvement over stock, part of that is the fact that a lot of software is removed.
Got my task/app manager back, unzipped stock Rom and pushed the apk into system app's . All is well.

I believe that's not any notification center but config screen for 'Notifier Pro'. I believe the OP means that notifications will look like iOS notifications.
That said, I don't know why people spend so much time and effort to answer questions no one asked. If someone here wanted an iPhone UI, they wouldn't even be on these forums.

GooApple is Android system yes.
You can try to port the ROM of GooApple but i don't think all we be working. Just see my signature for port rom guide

I do like the LOOK of iOS but I don't like the restrictions of Apple and iOS. And I'm here on this forum... using Rohits awesome MIUI v4: freedom powered by Android and beauty of iPhone UI - best of both worlds!

I mean from the gooapple.. I saw some videos last night after seeing this thread. Even though is android they manage to make it look just like iphone.. So iOS themes out there just doesnt look identical and theirs do

If your device is not a Nexus, or if you are using a custom rom, this probably won't work. If it does work, I would be glad to know.
Edit: Tested, works on official CM.
Whatever device you own, make sure you have a nandroid backup before using this app. If you get stuck in a bootloop or if your systemUI force closes, you can easily sort the problem by going into TWRP, mounting your system, opening the file explorer and deleting color.apk from system/vendor/overlay. Or you can use your nandroid.
Please note that I am not responsible if you brick your phone. Only test this app if you know what you are doing.

Samsung Galaxy S3 LTE (GT-i9305) running CM13 unofficial.

Would app like this be legal on PlayStore? Google wants everybody to stick with white flat notifications

A thought just came across my mind. Do you think it would be somehow possible to have different colours for each app? Maybe based on the action bar of these apps or maybe completely choosable for the user?

I'm not sure, but having said that there are lots of root apps and other types of theming apps (e.g. navbar) on the Playstore...
