im using ICS (XXLQ3) with ardatdat kernel v-1. im facing some problems nowdays. I cannot receive calls & messages during the screen sleep off. when i on the unlock the screen, all the pending messages start to flooding my inbox. for calls, many of my friend complaint that i not answering their calls, but actually Im not receiving any calls during the screen sleeo off. any solution for this guys. appreciate your feedback.
Did you try flashing xxlq3 again? Coz that's a very weird problem you're facing

I too was facing this when I was on the leaked ICS ROM...it went away after I switched to frank mod and mazel 2...both didn't have the issue..

Buddy this was faced by me. It cause of deep sleep. flash ardatdats latest ics kernel. Then wipe cache n dalvik cache. Swicth off ur phone. Remove the battery, let it seperated for 5 min and,then insert battery n reboot.

Hope you have Wiped data before flashing the PAC and have you changed any performance setting or Set CPU ....

actually i was in ics-i was facing the same problem in that too.i did a factory data reset,then installed the PAC rom and then did a dalvik and cache wipe and rebooted it......and no i did not change any performance setting or Set CPU.

If you are facing this on ICS also, then better try flashing any GB ROM and check if its ok or not, if its fine then you can flash PAC ROM....

Dude,I tried to resolve this issue just two days before and it worked.just disable the automatic time zone and automatic date in the date and time settings and after that you will not experience this problem.just try it and give me the feedback.....

buddy, its not working.. there are still same problem.
i tried to re-flash the kernel and take out battery for 5min. still same problem..
maybe i tried to install mazel 2 rom and feed back you guys..

it's not any ROM issue, it's due to network issue. Just change your location in room.place phone in center of room

When you face the issue of not receiving calls/SMS do you also see that the time is not getting updated? I am facing that issue and it is really frustrating. Now I have disabled the automatic date and time and automatic timezone setting. I'll let you know if the issue comes up again.
BTW I am on ICS Blueberry ROM with Ardatat Kernel 4.2Beta6.

Ya you are right, the time does not gets updated.Just give me the feedback after you see it for sometime and btw iam using PAC man Rom now,I do not get the problem now......
I also haven't faced the problem ever since I turned off automatic date time update.. I'm on cm10..

After turning off the automatic date/time and time zone, my issue with not receiving calls/sms seems to be fixed. Will observe for some more time and let all know if it recurs.

Hi to all,
I have a ramdom problem with my Nexus S. Sometimes, when I try to make a call, the phone seems to work well but the call fails. The screen remains as if trying to establish the call but this is not done.
I think that the problem is only to make calls but I can receive it without problems.
When the error ocurs, is needed to stop the data conection (eg APNDroid) and then the Nexus works again... till the next error. I have this problem the 30% of the times (more or less).
I asked in spanish forums and a lot of people has the same problem.
Is this a known bug?... and the solution?.
I have the low signal problem too?.
I'm sorry to say that bus this is my 3rd Android phone (the first official google) and is the worst that I never had!!!.

im rooted, its been happening sunce i use PACman rom.
i used almost all custom rom hellybean, jeLLyshot, PA.
i always do a full wipe before using new custom rom.
im on jellyshot and the problem occurs still, but if i reboot then try to call again it works then after a while it happen again.

Well ID first update profile & PRL. Im not sure which ROM has that option. Some do some don't. Just go to settings/about phone and tap the tab that gives the option.
If not then flash back to ur original ROM if u have it to do the above.
If that doesn't work maybe try to see if its an app that is causing it. Just flash a ROM but do not add anything to it. Make the calls to check it.
I'm on Slimbean and I have no issues if u want to try that ROM.

one of the member on xda also had the same problem.just give it to the service center.they will replace the mother board.the amazing part is that he got a mother board with internal storage of 14gb....
send it back to the samsung service center
tell them still rebooting and resetting and most likely its motherboard as you have heard from others
make sure you have everything stock on it before returning
worst thing is 4 days b4 warranty got over one of my friend told me its software problem but i dont know with which firmware to flash, anyone pls help me out

I am facing a very weird problem in my phone, i am on MIUI and my phone is not able to detect many apps from the
market like facebook, go launcher, Instagram etc etc. i have downloaded the .apk from outside and using them.
But when it comes to facebook after installation it says that : "Application not installed" , i tried many time from but

have you ever edited the LCD DENSITY ?
the default should be 240
i tried to change it before and led to lot of apps disappeared from market due the lcd density changed as i guess market will detect your lcd density to judge which app available for you
or
u have just flashed a wrong version thats not for your phone

then onwards if I take the battery out the same problem contnued Is there any solution for this.

Buddy It is sad to see you facing problem with your device. Can you tell exactly what's your problem. What I understand from your post is whenever you remove your battery and plug it back your mobile is not turning on. You have to keep it off for 1 day before you can turn it on successfully. Is that what you are trying to say buddy?

I was using official rom not rooted one till yesterday.
I installed ICS yesterday guessing that it would solve the problem but the problem remains same & it became worst than ever before.
I am going to install the original firmware once again but I am not getting the proper link to download it. Could you please just give me the link to download ginger bread 2.3.6 for the Saudi Arabian Region?
& I think there must be a problem in boot sector. Whenever I remove the battery and plug it back to it, it takes time to turn it on at least 10 to 24 hours.
One more thing my laptop is detecting the mobile even my mobile is turn off.

So I have a very annoying problem with this. When I get a text message sometimes I will receive the exact same message like 5 times. And sometimes I have to turn the screen on to even get it! Does someone know a solution? If so I would be very greatful!
Check if auto update for date and time is on... Uncheck it if it is on...

Update to any new JB/ICS ROM and problem solved.
Or flash ZSLPD/XWLP2 stock roms.
They dont have he call bug problem.

Hi all, here is MIUI offical port from the MIUI forum. i am not the creator just the informer!
TW based rom 4.2.2
The stock kernel works fine but you must flash a baseband to get WIFI working (via ODIN)
Updates working via OTA (weekly on a friday)

it will be slow as its from the chinese servers.
If you want gapps, download gapps for 4.2.2 from http://goo.im and flash it.
wipe date/factory and install zip in recovery im using philz recovery and have had no issues
For lite *#*#4636#*#* then phone information then select lte gsm cmda etc
if you wish to make a mirror then please get permision from the creator 郁闷得撞墙 Author number 3472249
This rom has been smoothed out alot over the last update and only small bugs are left to sort out.
Sms screen rotate doesnt work.
You have to flash a baseband to get wifi working
If theres any bug ive missed drop me a pm and i will add them
In my opion this is the closest to the real MIUI that we will get unless of course they support it.

I cant seem to install it. I wipe system and data and then proceed to install and it gets as far as the updating boot image and then auto reboots out of CWM and then it wont boot.
Any suggestions? I have downloaded the rom twice now just in case it was corrupt file but same issue both times.

Just installed... tnx to Bmarko for doing a great job with the porting version but... this version is finally the best one I tried so far... I had just a reboot while importing sms and the "problems" already mentioned in the first post... but it's fast, clean, beautiful... the camera is fastest than the stock one (I have to do some more tests anyway), there are also some features from the original firmware, the multiwindow, air gesture, etc....
I love it!!

HI i cant take any credit for the find it was thanks to dreamxp on the MIUI port rom thread that found it i simply made this thread to keep the comments seperate as it was getting confusing

and yes the base is TW so all TW features are here although ive not had chance to play with it fully yet.
the only problem i have found other than the sms problem is the ringtone volume sounds too loud even when you reduce the volume it seems to go loud again.
Anyway to install this on a AT&T S4? Install in recovery kicks me out because it's a i337.

i tryed to flash also KT-SGS4-JB4.2-TW-INTL-11.14.2013.zip and Abyss-GT-I9505-1.6.1FSam.zip but the rom dont boot, stay on "Starting Apps"

If everyone can keep posting up their issues with this ROM. I can go through it and see what I can clean up. I can also post up the files to my mediafile account. I just switched back to the TW ROM from miui, but now I guess I will have to jump back and have the best of both worlds. Time for some modding.

Approximate sensor is not working during a call and every conversation breaks after 30 seconds, then phone freezes for 15-20 secs. Tried 2 different modems and all 4 available kernels.
Call recording is not working for me.

Same issue here but by the looks of when you check for a rom update it says weekly so these bugs may be fixed soon?

Well yeah it seems to be a first release so we just have to wait a bit for the ROM to be stable

You flashed wrong kernels, please follow the kernel link inside to download the correct ones:
