What is the difference between CM10 and CleanRom? - Asus Transformer TF700

What kind of advantages CM10 have?
I am using CleanRom and very happy now
But it seems CM10 is very popular, I am a noob and can anyone tell me why you choose CM10?
Thanks!

CM10 is like fully custom rom (will have more bells and whistles) but it still very buggy. Cleanrom is very close to stock, that's why there is no bug! CM10 is only for the flashcaholics which love to flash rom and doesn't care about bugs.

CM9 is fast and stable?
Not worth waiting for kernel 3?
CM9 still has quite a few outstanding bugs and I wouldn't recommend it for daily use. (been there, done that).
If you're looking for a non-sense rom that works, try CM7 or derivatives like Reaper.
I'm using a CM10 derivative right now called Andromadus, which is Jelly Bean based and it works 100% except for the front camera and a few graphical glitches (that have a workaround).
CM10 is miles and miles beyond CM7 or ICS in terms of performance on our phone, so I would suggest you try the latest test build if you're feeling adventurous. You won't regret it.

Agreed. I've been using the latest 24-2 build with 80n Kernel. Have had battery issues with 80n, but I've enjoyed the experience till date. The battery issues will surely be sorted out soon.

Where are all the ROMs

I'm happy with ICS on my GS3 but I do want to try a JB rom but I don't see anything out there that is so wow to try. any recommendations?

i tried jelly wiz, it was ok
there are a bunch of options for JB synergy just came out with a nice stable rom its under the ics thread.
As for not many JB rooms I am under the impression that there will be more once we gay an official vzw leak. Until then I have seen that people are saying the current roms are good but may not be dd ready.
Disclosure: I am in no way bashing any roms or trying to deter people from trying roms I am just stating what I have read on here when I was looking at roms.

hands down code Rom is the best jelly bean rom so far.

What is the most stable and complete JB rom?

All I want is a very stable rom that stays true to android and doesn't break any features. Sorry if this is a basic question.
Quick answer is nine of the JB roms are as stable as the ICS ones, and the most stable are TW roms. You have to try out and decide for yourself I guess.
I like paranoid android.
All JB roms have issues. In waiting until CM10 fix the low audio in video record issue then it would be my daily driver.

+1. I am for the Paranoid Android as well. There are some "very minor' nuances but overall its a rock solid ROM. In some other thread i reported that I needed to settle down on a ROM since i was jumping around too much with flashing different ones. This is the one I settled with.

CM9 = Ice Cream Sandwich
CM10 = Jellybean
There's a lot of roms available. CM10, Rasbeanjelly, Metal Dragon Overlord, Paranoid Android, Blackbean 6 and more.
Most stable is the stock one.

Slimbean just released their 3.0 version which is based off android 4.12.
It has everything.

I would have to say stock rooted or cm10 stable would be the best bet. Rasbean jelly is stable as well, but it is a port from gsm nexus so there is no SMS split.

Rustyjay also released a "rustified" version of his port of rasbeanjelly that has SMS split and he also posted a flashable zip for just the MMS apk with the extra customization menu settings.

I'm using Slim Bean 3.0 right now but I think AOKP Milestone 1 has more in the way of customization the two are pretty close though both have been stable daily ROMs for me. I always use AIR's weekly kernel release with whichever ROM I run. Just start flashing and see which one you like. Try 'em all I don't think you can go wrong most if not all 4.12 for the NS4G are stable and have similar options.
Then you can turn around and find a 4.2 ROM in a few days. They're getting close. Happy flashing.

If you've used both regularly and recently, which one would you make your daily driver?

No, offence to the developers of clean rom but I think you would be better of with Cyanogenmod 10. Also, their going to release Cyanogenmod 10.1 which is based of Android 4.2.

Just asking for an argument to start. Everyone has their own preference. The best way to see which one you think is best is to try both!
