[Q] Black Screen After SlimBean ROM Flash? - AT&T Samsung Galaxy S II Skyrocket SGH-I727

Hello,
I just flashed SlimBean ROM on my Skyrocket via ClockworkMod. I first formatted/wiped as is customary. It gave me no errors, so I assumed everything was fine. However, upon reboot, I was greeted with the Samsung logo, and then nothing. Just a black screen. It appears to be responsive to my pressing the lock button (the touch buttons light up). But nothing else. What could it be, and how can I fix this?
Thanks so much for any help!

Afraid that's a good sign of a hard brick. Does your device do anything when you try to turn it on? Can you get into download mode?

A mod that can supposedly unbrick the nexus s and other phones running the A8 processor. Custom bootloader and all. Check it out.

Did you flash a i9020 rom? My guess is you flashed a rom with SAMOLED drivers and you have SLCD.

I don't think ROMs are made depending on the screen model. Kernels maybe, but ROMs are only differentiated as Nexus S and Nexus S 4G.

Full stock ROMs are, because they are bundles. Maybe he flashed one of them. Nevertheless, if video driver is wrong, he should still be able to turn it on and feel vibration on power on! Don't know...
This is what I did..Not paying attention and then realised I had backed up all my data on the SDCard that does not exist...(I've had my Nexus S for a few days!) %$#%#$%#$.
I've had bad flashes before on other phones, but my data has always been safe.
I accidently flashed 9020 insead of 9023...
It's dead and no longer turns on. No movements or anything. It's dead. I'm more concered about the data on the SDCard partition. Is there a way to recover this? I'm not so much interested in the phone, but the data...Thanks
=] few days huh? just go back and say.it stopped working... and there u go a new NS

I can do that, but I'm more interested in the many photos I took that are on it. I just forgot there is not physical SDCard when I backup. Hence I am looking for a way to extract my data off it.

Sent from my DROID3 using Tapatalk
Sorry im too noob, so i dont know what fastboot is... :/
But i tried pressing all the possible combinations of buttons to turn it on without any success... The phone is dead, cant see anything on screen... I have already read some other threads where people flashed a galaxy S rom on a galaxy s2 device and now they got a bricked device as well...
I sent it to warranty but im not sure if they are gonna replace it with a new one... so im preparing myself for the worst...
Sorry for my english O:
Do you think theres a way that t mobile knows whats happening with the phone? I mean, how are they gonna turn it on?? im worried about the warranty...
Hold on, later today I will do some searching on how you access fastboot on your phone.

[Q] Red triangle in recovery

Hello guys
I have Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 N8000 running a fully stock 4.0.4 ICS ROM. I never flashed or rooted any ROM, just the one out of the box.
Today, I entered the recovery menu for curiosity, as I met some hardware issues before with my Galaxy S III where it got bricked because of internal hardware malfunctioning.
When I entered the recovery, initially, the classical standing Android man appeared, then it got replaced with a lying Android, with a red triangle over it showing "!" mark.
Is this Normal? Or is there something not good? Does any one have a similar one?
Can you please report if your device does not show a similar sign?
Thank you.

@Tab stuck on boot screen

First of all sorry if this is wrong section feel free to move to relevant section.
I have a @tab 10 dual core. We got them at work and now the company have gone bust so can't send it back.
It is stuck on the main boot screen I have used the rockbatchtool to reflash the firmware still no joy. At work we had the 13.3 version as well and they sent me a versus tab firmware for that and it worked on the 13.3 @tab, so I have tried the same for the 10 but no joy just a white screen.
I can't force cwm on there as there doesn't seem to be any way of getting it into boot loader as there are no volume buttons.
Does anyone have any idea or if I posted it to them they could have a play in the UK
Thanks

find original firmware for your tab or any similar tablet and flash it
otherwise your tablet is of no use.
I have done that.
Got the original firmware and flashed it back on and still same sticks on @tab boot screen.
