[ROM][ALLTF] |Nov 30| Energy™ -.¸¸.·´¯ ICS Latest Official / Lightly Themed ¯´·.¸¸. - - Eee Pad Transformer Android Development

Welcome to the "Energy" ROM collection thread !
This development thread is the home of my "EnergyROM" custom firmware series for the original Asus Transformer tablets (TF101, 101G, SL101). Here you will find ROMs that I have created for this device over time. My main goal when putting a ROM together is stability and improved graphics but...
I build my ROMs with four main goals.
Stability through private beta testing before public release
Eye candy ( I want my ROM to look great and for it to all flow together nicely)
Speed !!!
Smoothness, consistency and good aesthetics
(You can stay up to date on the status of my ROM development by "following" me on Twitter)
How to Flash this ROM:
- Root your device
- Install a custom recovery
- Install the downloaded ROM .zip found in post #3
- Make sure to do a Factory Reset / Wipe before installing ROM

FAQ

New(old) kid on the block for the TF101 guys! Enjoy.

Fresh ROM posted. Enjoy and let me know what else needs to be done do it...

My thanks to the OP.
This will match my Energy Sensation Rom nicely!
The Transformer users are in for a treat.
Regards.

Downloading and will feedback later...
Thanks in advance for this ROM.

It looks great! Will try this weekend and report :good:
Thank you very much :cyclops:

this is awesome and are u have any plan to update to JB ^^

I used to love your roms back in the days when I had Xperia S1 and then Htc touchstone, definitely will give it a try on my transformer. Thank you !!!!

ohhh ****...
this is going to be a "personal preference war"
Always loved me some NRG then for the devices not supported developed a love for ARHD, now got NRG and ARHD on the same device...
im so confused -_- /sniffle

Let me know if there's any suggestions to improve this. I've barely got my TF 101 not even a week ago, so I'm still a newb with it. I should build a JB release for it, but I'm a firm believer that OEM builds are more stable than CM.

theres rumor's about a JB release from ASUS... but no FIRM statement of denial or conformation yet...
pisses me off really
My TF101 and Dock are sitting pretty with a Martin Fields screen/lens protector and a Skinomi Dark Wood skin, looks effing sexy, works like a champ!
*Of small note, the stock ICS Kernel blows gigantic monkey balls... so many issues Ill make a post in a bit on how this Stock-Mod runs, NRG, always worth a run

Its good to see u Herr man. Thanksfor the releasee

Well that's why I use the one modded kernel that OC's to 1.7Ghz in this ROM, until I get the chance to build by own. I think clemsys made it ? Or G... something ?
I think this ROM needs a power menu. Maybe I'll hit up revolver's fabio for it

I use Rayman's kernel with most of the stock roms I've tried. Works great. I don't overclock past 1.6 myself Your rom is great! loving it so far!

You're right! Starting with the next version I'm putting that kernel in the ROM as default.

first I need friendly with new icons and then some buttons layout...
I just dont like a button layout its bigger (grey color) than normal and some app its crash out of line or become higher...
I love everything menu line, background at welcome screen, icons
using it with ADW completely perfect ^^

Please let me know if you plan on using my kernel with NRG .
All my ICS kernels are pretty outdated, so I could bake you a new one, special NRG edition with some nameing and stuff.
PM me in that case, mate.

[ROM G1] Bonsai 1.6.1 (x) BLUO by Misiek_ud [FASTEST EVER SEEN]

OK!. Another pearl from our greatest polish developers, this one without ramhack, and with JIT enabled, so greatest speed for the gamers.
Not so great looking, like Laszlo ROM, but the best speed i've seen without ramhack by now, believe me. Worth the try.
Change log is from every version, so mmake the sum of all...
And of course infamous Google translate, don't shoot the messenger please

- JIT Hack
Version 1.6 BLUO:
- Blue theme with SenseHero
- New default wallpaper
- A few new wallpapers in the "gallery wallpapers"
Version 1.6f1-fire:

$ su
# sh system / ccs.sh
.....................
Full wipe required. And don't look at wallpaper galeries. You could blind yourself.
Screenshots later.
I might try this... but I love the Laszlo ROM so much. Eh, decisions!
Screenshots?
Ill flash it..and give back feedback
I'll give this one a try as well. Been using Donut by Laszlo the last two days and I like the looks except for a few icons(don't like square boxes on my icons) and the speed is real good.
the not so great looking part is perfect, The ROMs posted here should focus on the internal technical aspects, like speed n stability. you wanna worry bout looks goto theme section. Themes are something personal
otherwise good work
i was first to post screens for lazzo's last release... someone care to do that for this
this thing is super fast, minor lag when coming to the first boot and i agree, i prefer a boot loading screen than a white screen...otherwise A+
Here are some screenshots: http://forum.android.com.pl/showthread.php?t=1158
I'm using this rom almost from beginning. My favourite one ;-)
I'm still using 1.6 BLUO with JIT ( by hand ).

Guy, you are crazy. I'm grateful, but it shoulden't be on XDA, between great developer ROM's. Maybe I'm wrong, but it's mine opinion. BonsaI it's mine modification/distribution of some great ROM.
If you install it, you wont disappointed, like author said.
Edit: 5 minutes witout ROM's on server
Actually the fastest ROM
Well, I always keep saying about ROMs that the AOSP outpasses al the rest of the ROMs in this forum, Now that I have used this ROM for a coupl of hours - I kind of having a feeling to keep it running on my G1.
1. According to speed my experience on G1:
CSDI/BLUE MAGIC> BONSAI> AOSP> SupD/Fasttest> Laszlo> and rests
2. The Look is not bad, stability and speed sustainibility wil be reported as sson as I have used this for another couple of days
3. Built in apps choice is really great! - it has ROOT explorer, BT FTP, Quick boot, SetCPU, SU, Taptalker, Sound Recorder by default
4. Built in HTC IME
5. I am liking it
Tried all the ROMs and this one seem to stay on my G1 for longer period after AOSP.
Worth trying!!!
Maybe distributing paid apps is not so good for a rom...
missing some apps from the market. is there newer version of the market out there that is installed on this rom?
I'm impressed. This rom is crazy smooth.

hey bro excellent review. this is how people should review stuff. comparing them to the other roms theyve used, and also providing feedback was to what this rom is good at and bad at (aka a pro's con's list). some people were saying they had reboot issues? i'm guessing yours is running perfect. lazlo's rom was ok but he doesn't respond on feedback and i disliked it because i couldnt install the latin_ime.apk without a force close.
@sino8r- is their latin_ime.apk running in this rom or will it fc as well? if this rom runs well, i am going to theme it to CYANOCH (if you guys remember that is what i put together using CYANOID and ENOCH themes for two roms that had no good themes at that time. currently i am running Pay's rom with advanced launcher because i didnt like home++;i themed it as well to CYANOCH and made it JIT enabled- so far its very smooth.

Be prepared to know what adb does and have a dropbox account ready This is not an "early accesss" program, but a way to improve the ROM by having people actively test early builds and reporting back on issues.
Enjoy!
Looks good, gonna give this a try.

I will be downloading this when I get a chance and I hope you continue your work on this Rom and other works. I recently decided to dive into sense 3.5 and like it. I just wish the Rom was a little more stable and complete. In time, hopefully it'll get better.

Oh damn! Finally something new to play with!
Pardon my ignorance on this, but I have not been keeping up with the Sense3.5 and Runny builds... is 4G never going to be an option for these? (or just highly unlikely anyway?)

This thread is for Inspire 4G users; the Desire HD thread is located here.
I thought I would accumulate the early bugs here for the Inspire for NRGZ28's review. It will be easier to accumulate the "bugs" here for our Chef...so let me know if something needs to be added.
Bug Report:
7.26.2012 ROM:
Reported that Panorama Camera not working - See this post for solution. NOW INCLUDES FLASHABLE ZIP!
3G/4G/H+ Status Bar Icons - Some have reported this as a "bug". The "H" connection status is showing as "4G"; the "3G" connection status is showing as "4G". There is a SystemUI.apk "fix" posted here
2.21.2012 ROM:
Reported that Panorama Camera not working - See this post for solution. NOW INCLUDES FLASHABLE ZIP!
Alarm on Status Bar - Alarm Icon disappears after a reboot. You have to go to alarms, uncheck and recheck your alarm to get the alarm icon to show up again.
3G/4G/H+ Status Bar Icons - Some have reported this as a "bug". The "H" connection status is showing as "4G"; the "3G" connection status is showing as "4G". There is a SystemUI.apk "fix" posted here
OC/UV Settings Not Sticking After Reboot - I appear to be the only one reporting this, but OC and UV settings changed via Daemon Controller are not "sticking" after a reboot...sometimes. That is the weird part, sometimes after a reboot the settings are still there (this is after a long time of usage). Sometimes after a reboot...and then another reboot (installing apps; changing system apps; etc...requiring a couple of quick reboots), the OC/UV settings revert back to "default". This may be a protection feature built in to Daemon Controller?? I would recommend installing the DaemonController-3.3-beta3.apk which is located at the bottom of Sybregunne's Post #1 here. (NRG's ROM includes DaemonController-3.1.apk)
FIXED:
Flash Player Not Working - See this post for solution (thanks Random667) ... Fixed in the 2.21.2012 Sense 3.5 version
HD Video Orientation Playback in HTC Gallery - Please see this post for explanation and fix. ... Fixed in the 2.21.2012 Sense 3.5 version
Music App misaligned controls and phone branding error for DHD ... Fixed in the 2.21.2012 Sense 3.5 version
Addons for 11.27.2011 Sense 3.0 Version:
AT&T Users - H+ and 5-Bar Signal status icons - Please see this post if you want to add the H+ data status icon and/or the 5-bar signal status icons.
The icons in the referenced post were made and tested for the "Themed" NRG ROM dated 11/27/2011.
I don't even know what NRG's "Stock" ROM looks like, so not sure if it will work on NRG's "Stock" ROM.
The set of instructions and references in the post should enable you to try to make them yourself if you want to!
Thanks to 'homeslice976' for a nice set of instructions on how to do this!
Sense3 camera+ ver.2 - Nice camera update by 'Lyapota'. Panorama! Gallery effects work!
I installed the 'orig_camera_Runny4.zip' in recovery; rebooted; back to recovery and installed the 'lyapota_camera_plus2_Runny4.zip'. (Actually, my 2nd flash was the 'Blue_lyapota_camera_plus2_Runny4.zip' skinned by 'Rayford85' since I'm running NRGZ28's "Themed" ROM). I have not encountered any FC's. After flashing, I had to reinstall the HD Video Orientation Playback in HTC Gallery...see bug report.
Thanks!!
It must be a sign - I got an Inspire for my wife this afternoon, and have been sitting on this board, reading about all of the various roms available for the phone. I was just sitting here trying to learn about flashing the phone while thinking to myself, "I really like Energy on my TP2 and my wife's Diamond 2, a pity that I have to choose again..." Refreshed the front page, and here we are!
But now, I would like to apologize for not thanking you sooner. Thanks for making my phone great for the past two years.

That's good to hear man. If it wasn't for another WM convert... wmg316 who posted right above you, there woudln't have been an Inspire Energy ROM at all! Hehe
ROMs are ready to download. Enjoy.
WOW what a great surprise to come home to. I've been missing NRG Rom's since my TP2. Loved the work you did with it. Excited to see where this goes.
Question,
does this have current gps tweaks, apn tweaks, and what kernal is featured?
And because I'm a jerk and i must ask, is there a GTX possibility in the future??
Downloading now. Looks nice. Woke up thinking. Damn I need a new rom tired of all the same stuff. BAM. Here it is. Something new and fresh. Looks clean. Thanks. Hope its battery life and performance are as nice as the looks of it
Great, I was just thinking this morning that there is really no reason to flash ROMs any more cause they are all basically the same, and then I see this. Brings me back to the fuze days. Can't wait to flash it.

Pros and Cons
Pros: Pretty fast and stable
Nice clean ICS like theme
Fairly light weight and not changed to much
Highest stock overclock
Cons: Unsupported at the moment due to ownership change, V6 hopefully coming soon
Doesn't have as many tweaks as some of the other roms, this could also be a pro for some people
Bottom line
Probably the simplest of the Roms I have tried, SCV5 is nice and stable, making it a good first choice, the theme is not too heavy, so it feels closer to stock than others. Many others are much more de-blurred and have more removed Motorola stuff. If you want a fast stable, but not to far off of stock ROM, Supercharged is the way to go. User Rdavisct has taken this over as one of his many projects and judging by his other work, I think we will all be in for a treat when SCV5 is released. (No Pressure Rdavisct if you are reading this)

CUSTOM CALCULATOR
INVERTED CONTACTS
INVERTED DIALER
JUST ABOUT EVERY MAJOR APK HAS BEEN THEMED
Pros and Cons
Pros: Great ICS like theme
Inverted color settings is great
Fast
Debloated and Deblurred
Cons: not much, a little less stable than supercharged, I have had a few reboots
Bottom Line
Much further from stock than Supercharged, fast, and beautifully themed, this is one of my favorites. Lithium would not be a good choice for those of you who are fans of all the Motorola Blur stuff, but for most it is great. The overclock is set at 1100, making it faster than stock, but still stable, and the removal of bloatware helps even more with the speed. There is a large emphasis on the theme, which is good for most people. It is ICS like, with blue icons and status bar clock, it also has the useful pull down options that are in most roms. The inverted colors in the menus and keyboard look fantastic, and they make it easier on the eyes at night. There are still a few places where colors have not been inverted, such as the battery use page, but in general the theme is flawless. CWM on boot is enabled by default, but can be disabled by flashing the standard removal zip. Lithium is one of the best roms available for our device, and I only expect it to continue getting better
It might be helpful for the reader to know what launcher comes as the default with any given ROM. Launcher preference is extremely important to some. My two cents. Good luck with the thread.
The End.

Yep, i'm getting there. I didn't actually mean to post it yet. I hit post instead of preview. I will add both links and screenshots, thanks for the suggestions though. glad to see people are interested in this
Mirrors of supercharged, sonya, and lithium are now up, uploading the rest as we speak
Edit: I will upload more tomorrow, I have to get work done today and it is slowing down my internet too much
What a great idea to summarize all available roms for the Atrix 2 in one thread, Thanks!!!. I just want to suggest that perhaps it would be good to add the installation method of the rom, not the instructions, only something like this: " Lithium --> Install Method: CWM Restore.
VictoryRom --> Install Method: CWM Flasheable zip."

Glad you are interested. I was shocked that no one had done this, so I thought I would take it on. God point on adding instructions, I will do so. that is once I try all the roms more and get full reviews up! IF you have a favorite, or reviews of any feel free to post them, I want this to be a group effort.
Mirrors are now up
Thanks for being patient. Mirrors for all our major roms are now up. I also included the flash to stock script in case anyone needs it. download speeds are around 3 MB/s for me!
Thanks! Very Helpful
Seems to have slowed down? no?

Do you mean the Mirrors, or me? The mirrors might if many people download, Google drive is new so I don't know if they would throttle, it could also go down just due to Google doing maintenance. If you mean, you are right, I am getting back to this, but I have been rally busy the last few days, tonight I am going to write up the Sonya v3 review and flash something else to try for tomorrow and I'll try to do one a night until I'm done. Sorry for the delay, it will be done before next week. I'm just crazy busy right now.

Thank's!! that fastboot script has saved me thozen of times . By the way i dont see the Victory Rom maybe you should put it in the list and in Google Drive, in my opinion it's an excellent rom, for people who likes the moto blur stuff it's awesome because it's fast and super stable and it's not a cwm backup (for those having problems to restore cwm backups)
Thanks for this, great idea.

[ROM][ICS]|Dec 7| Energy™ -.¸¸.·´¯ Blue|Tweaks|APM / Stable / 2.35 Base! ¯´·.¸¸. -

Welcome to the "Energy" ROM collection thread !
This development thread is the home of my "EnergyROM" custom firmware series for the HTC OneS device. Here you will find ROMs that I have created for this device over time. My main goal when putting a ROM together is stability. A second goal would be a good, professional look. I accomplish that by theming the original HTC ROMs and replacing the green with a dark, electric blue.
I build my ROMs with four main goals.
Stability through private beta testing before public release
Eye candy ( I want my ROM to look great and for it to all flow together nicely)
Speed !!!
Smoothness, consistency and good aesthetics
I preconfigure a lot of things in my ROM, because when I flash it on my phone, I want it ready to go. So, the ringtone, sms/email and other notifications to already be set. Doing it this way, makes for a nice ROM that's ready out of the box.
Now on to the good stuff...

Make sure to use TWRP recovery in order to flash the correct kernel or a compatible recovery that flashes the kernel included in the rom's zip! If your WIFI doesn't work, then THIS is why. Also, be sure to flash the correct wifi partitions, according to your hboot version. Search the thread for more info ('wifi partitions' is a good search phrase).
