FM Radio for GT-P6210 - Samsung Galaxy Tab Plus

I've always been surprised that there isn't FM radio on these things. Seems silly. Is there a way to get one of the internal radios' to do true FM radio?

Not surprising, Wifi and Bluetooth are in the 2Ghz range. FM is 100 Mhz.
Just install Tune-in Radio app and you won't have a need for a hardware FM radio

There is an app that has a lot of local stations called "TuneIn radio". It gets you the station through the internet.

nope dont think so
NO
There is absolutely no radio hardware in SGS4G.
Either use TuneIn (or equal) on WiFi or get another phone...
SGS i9000 does have radio inside.

FM RADIO still nothing???

good morning
I'm wondering if there is a kernel/rom that allow to listen fm radio off line.
thanks
Nexus s doesn't support FM radio
IT doesn't have the hardware. Use an app over wifi or.... Hmmm... Use a radio. What are the like 3 dollars for a battery powered portable radio. Honestly. I :banghead:

Buy one of those headsets that has a built in radio receiver, because NS doesn't have a radio for, well, um, radio. according to the laws of conservation, we can't just materialise a radio out of nothing/nowhere, no unless you're magic, NS won't have a FM radio.

Hardware it's inside the BT chipset, but it's missing the necessary wiring to make it work, as well the kernel driver...

The built-in FM radio (using radio tuner) take almost no power at all - just what your speaker or headphones use - while any internet radio will take the same for speaker/headphones PLUS as much as your internet connection requires to get data packets (4G radio drains battery a lot more than i.e. wi-fi, specially in not-so-good signal strength areas). So yes, the built-in FM radio is certainly better for your battery than anything else.

Find your station on TuneIn Radio, the Nexus 5/X don't have built-in tuners.
