Sony use the Arc Design on the back of the phone and i moved it the sides.. and this design is look like X ... also this is ergonomic design.. ( GreenHreat )
but why Dual OS. android and windows phone have so user and im sure evey body use android want test windows in his phone..
and so many people have windows phone , will be love this phone. Because they did not leave their Os during they have some thing awesome ( Android )..

good design and specs.. I think you should add a laser beam features. It can kill bad people or iphones.
the casing should be black and have baby skin touch.

dual boot. too much work for sony, enough said. each every update will take too much time and resource for a silly phone.

i can c that obviously u r not designer..phone design is not that simple...
u need to think about lots of things not only the look but how to hold the phone, grip and size etc(too many)...i can say the sony wouldnt even bother to look at this design...im sry...but keep trying...one day u will achieve something...haha..

if apple would sue this thing of it's design i'll go crazy haha a very unique design

Sony didn't listen to us when we asked them for ICS for Xperia Play
Sony didn't listen to its customers when they wanted a quad core phone in 2012
Why would Sony listen to you ? + they have a lack of developers + they are so busy upgrading Xperia 2012 devices to Android 4.2

It will NEVER HAAPEN. Sony = PS3. Microsoft = Xbox 360 = Windows. They are competing for a reason. Sony will NEVER use Windows phone as their smartphone platform let alone dualboot OS'.

Comparing the latest iPad and a newly released Android Tablet. Can anyone give me 3 good reasons for each device which is better and for what reason:

IPad has better apps, better accessories and better build quality (if compared to samsung). Latest android tablet can be hacked both software and hardware(presumably), and has the latest specs(except maybe gpu?)

If you want a super smooth and a well designed and neat UI, excellent build quality and have money to spare, go for the latest iPad.
If you want real value for money and the pure Android experience and the awesome option to develop your own software, go for Nexus(7 or 10).
If you are in between both the two, go for the latest Samsung Tablet.
And most of all, if you want to send songs or apps via Bluetooth or have a file explorer, go for any Android tablet.

Comparing either my old HTC Incredible or my newer S3 to this iPhone(4?) I have here from work doesn't seem fair. I don't know how anyone could use android and then go on to iPhone, it seems so limiting. Also it's heavy for the size.

Hi all,
I bought the nexus 7 a week ago but i haven't been that happy with the device (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2232569).
Im not sure I really need a tablet, and having another device to carry/charge is also a little annoying.
My iPhone 3GS is on the way out anyway- so i thought of returning my Nexus 7, and getting the Xperia Z instead.
Any comments on this? I do plan to read a lot on it (ereader). How is the xperia z to read on? Ok size?

If you are getting a phone for mainly reading, I suggested either an amoled screen, for battery saving purposes, or a lcd3 screen, which imo, looks better. According to what I've read, the z's screen is washed out, so I would avoid it.

Official Lollipop on Galaxy Tab Pro 12.2???

Still anyone's guess at this point. The Galaxy Tab S line only recently got their updates (and they are still rolling out on the numerous variants of those products) so it may be a while. Personally I'm still trying to be optimistic about it, but I'm not expecting any earth shattering improvements.

It'll take a while. Most of the larger-market Note 3's don't have 5.0, and they have identical hardware. Seems 5.0 has been put on hold for anything without a 6 in the device name, to prevent them impacting the S6 sales.

Even slight differences in hardware require testing though. Larger screen resolution and different cameras in the Note 3 and Note 12.2 are enough to cause 2 testing paths. Note 3 sales were presumably way higher than the 12.2 so that must take priority. My experience with Samsung is to wait a good long while before taking a firmware upgrade from them anyway.

Note 3&4 have it from Verizon of all people and they are some of the slowest to release updates. If they are going to release it it cant be far off

It's not that...there are problems ( I guess from google or qualqomm) with lollipop. I own also note edge 915FY and despite the fact that has the same hardware as 915F it has not been updated to 5.Even the S6 with 5.0.2.has an update before lounching....
The S5 has 2 or 3 updates after initial release of lolipop...
I just hope that note pro will get anytime an update to lolipop

It has that as well, yes. From Google. Bluetooth connectivity, crashing Contacts, WiFi issues, general instability and memory leaks. But holding off an update to stimulate sales for the new product is a tried and true business method that they've been using since the S2.
The second S5 Lollipop update was required because most users couldn't use their device properly after the first update, which was put on hold after the first week.

at this point I'd appreciate a decent non official Lollipop build...

I already updated 2 Tab Pros to Lollipop UK version., OH4 I flashed over the Kitkat NK1, all apps and settings still retain.
UK version for Europe, there're more languages than US version.
OH4 = Version 4 Released on August (H) 2015 (O).

I pre-ordered a Mi 4c, but I haven't received it yet. I live in China, and I bought a Mi 4c for my China Telecom sim card and China Mobile sim card. Now I am using a Nexus 5 for my China Unicom sim card. I would like to have a similar experience on the Mi 4c.

I'm using nexus 5 too. I brought a xiaomi4c from tmall, and received it in September 23. i'm also looking forward to Cyanogenmod.

It seen that the CM12.1 for 4c have some bugs ( flashlight not working and cannot charge when phone is off) as stated on the OP post and I have not flash the rom yet. Waiting for the bugs fix version.

you'll be waiting a long time my friend, there's no such thing as a bug free version....
You just have to know which are annoying for you or not. Flashlight is not a big deal.
Will try this version this week-end and report back.
It is pretty amazing there's already a version out though !

Both versions work on the rom, there's no real difference in the kernels of the 2 devices.

my gear s3 frontier stopped working the heart rate meter, wake up gesture, step counter, basically the sensors are not working, how to solve?

Hi, also my gear S3 r760 has stopped to work properly!! No sensor work!! Have you find a solution?

do you guys find the solution?my brother's have the same problem too,and he said this is happen after update to tizen 3.0 it's working fine before,the wake up gesture also not working too after update.
I try to help him,I downgrade it to 2.3.2.3, 2.3.2.4 but still no sensors and wake up gesture working.
I don't understand,how come a official software update from the company it self can cause hardware failure?

The sensors of my S3 frontier stopped working yesterday. I thought a reset would fix the problem but it hasn't. Someone gut lucky by fixing the watch?

Same problem here. None of the sensors are working post the upgrade to Tizen v3.0.0.2

I tried to connect toa samsung phone. But unfortunately my gear s3's sensors failed to work. I tried resetting and master resetting it but it didnt work. So disappointing.

I can tell you that Samsung is probably NOT listening here. Have you contacted Samsung?

Only solution downgrading back to Tizen 2.3.X will only resolve. Unless samsung releases the 4.0.0.7 update for us.
