Don't think you can currently
Sent from my ASUS Transformer Pad TF700T
As above I don't think this is possible but also if you need to do this for some kind of warranty purpose it won't matter as Asus get notified of you s/n as soon as you unlocked......
Its not for warranty reasons I am just giving it to my mother whose not too tech savvy so I don't want her to think its broken

Could be a Chinese knockoff. Be careful purchasing this.

Pretty sure it's a fake Chinese phone, don't ever buy one of those it probably has a very low res screen and ****ty specs so your better of with a cheap real android phone

Bud, he does not know the name or model!
I don't think HTC would be shy enough to not write their name on the phone/box

Hey everyone, I recently traded my Galaxy Nexus for the GS3 and normally, I get right down to the rooting/unlocking/flashing process, however one thing has been holding me back. The gentleman that I traded my device with worked directly for Samsung and said that the GSIII that he was giving to me, was in fact a development testing device only given out to employees. I was wondering if there is a way to verify this as I know that this could be a potential gateway to future discoveries if this is in fact the case. If any of you have thoughts on this then please share. I've been itching to scratch this flashing bug of mine -_-

This is what a test phone from HTC looks like.
If this person's claims are true, you should go to the IRC and chat with the devs there.
They could possibly find useful information before you get to using your device as normal- again, assuming this is true.
Yeah I think I'll do that. Will keep you guys posted if anything interesting comes from this

fyi, in order to allow htc flyer make phone call, it requires users to change the build file at /system therefore it is part of dev..... which is why i am trying to post it here.
I thanks those ppl who did reply with alt app or hardware to enable me to call using data plan.
What i am looking for is to be able to make phone call using my mobile line like htc flyer.
I dont blame those who dont know what i mean but just hope there will be some that does.....

Its basically your play new identity...every phone has ts own unique imei. And carriers have a list that matches then up with every phone they've sold or have in stock. Its how carriers make a phone unusable when stolen...they add the imei to a block list
Anyways...that's what I know it as...sorry don't have the actual definition of what it is...but that's its basics...with out it you get no photo new service

So if you guys want a new phone and have T-Mobile PHP you can do a warranty exchange for a Nexus 4.
Just ordered one for my gf, $5 for a Nexus 4 is a great deal, so if I were you guys I wouldn't pass it up.

Well I work there lol, so when picking the exchange device you can choose either a one s or nexus 4. You can call T-Mobile and tell them you want to do a warranty exchange and ask if you can have the nexus 4 as the exchange option.

While I agree this is HILARIOUS and I'm also quite confused as to how he did that, I'm here to confirm that you absolutely can get a Nexus 4 in exchange for your One S. It's only a $5 replacement fee and its all yours. Just have to say you have some sort of problem with your phone. I'll have mine on Monday. I love my One S but its time to say goodbye.
Do you do it in store, online or over the phone?

they don't care what phone you have. they want happy customers that keep paying that monthly bill.
So they don't mind buying you a new phone whenever you feel like it, and only as long as you lie to them about it lol.
Right.
