Poweramp>Beats Audio - HTC Sensation

I'm just wondering if anyone has any approximate settings for poweramp to sound relatively similar to beats audio, thanks in advance

You could just flash BassMod (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1887828). It comes with Beats and a few other audio enhancements. If you don't want to do that then all Beats really is is more oomph in the bass which can be adjusted via the bass knob in Poweramp.

I tried bassmod it breaks the latest CM10 phone speaker, and I can't tell if it's active while using poweramp, and I was looking for more settings on how to get similar beats audio, not just turn up my bass

Turn up pre amp, thats all beats is. As mudhi pointed out in his beats mod thread, its not bass boost or bass enhance, its just a higher gain (pre-amp). Personally I don't know what will sound good to your ears so the only way in which you will be able to find out is to try messing with the EQ yourself, but I prefer the bass frequencies and mid much higher decebels than stock

How big is the sound diffrence between DesireHD and Sensation Xe ?

im using beats studio headphones.
the sound on the DHD absolutley sucks..
did anybody here tried them both ?
All Beats Audio does is just boost the bass. I personally think the stock Sense audio works just fine, and I use my Sensation as an iPod heavily.

Beats audio on rooted sensation

I have seen "beats audio" on a custom ROM. What is the difference between this and the defualt method of playing audio?
Does anyone know the best ROM to increase volume of music playing.

Stock music player

Does anyone know how to avoid the gaps between tracks on the stock music player? I download a mixtape and instead of blending in from track to track theres a gap...I also use poweramp and theres no gap. I would like to use the stock player cause power Amp is not beats friendly yet. Anyone know?
Correction: Poweramp DOES support beats. Secondly stock music doesn't have a gapless feature.

Tinned sound quality

Hi, I'm just wondering whether it's just my sensation or is it like this with all of them but my music coming through the phone speaker is so tinned and high pitched, even using poweramps equalizer and viperforandroif fx, it's just not getting any better.. I'm using ViperS 1.6.3, s-off and unlocked bootloader.. any ideas or mods to fix this or is this normal for sensations?? Thanks in advance and if this is in the wrong section then I apologise

Sound mods or apps

Hi there, Is there any other sound mods or apps to make my music sound better through my phone speaker. I have tried viperforandroid fx and that doesn't seem to help. On my last phone, galaxy s I9000 I had voodoo sound and that worked perfectly. Is there anything like that for our beloved sensations... Thanks in advance

Look up acid audio mod. I'm sure there are many 3rd party apps that boost audio in the play store as well.

Thanks for that, I will go and have a look now

Here's a mod for rooted users: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2220761
Of course, make sure you make a nandroid backup before you flash it.
Also, look up rockodev's beats audio mod app. It's on the xda forum somewhere. It's also on Google play store (also requires root)

Thanks but my Rom ViperS 1.6.3 has already got beats audio, also has Dolby srs etc but there only for headsets, I just can't seem to find anything for the speaker

It's ok, thanks for urs and everyones help. I have just found a app on the play store called bass booster and it does take away the high pitch sound and kind of makes it abit better. I love my sensation too much to get rid for a phone that has better sound quality. Thanks again tho

Can't you set up like compression and stuff like that for beats audio for the speaker because in the set up there's options for the headphone and the speakers and for Bluetooth stuff correct me if I'm wrong.

Yes, if you use like DSP manager, you can adjust the equalizer for the speakers and Bluetooth, but as far as I know, there isn't a special mod that improves speaker quality.
