4.2 Camera/Keyboard
Has anyone started flashing either of these over? I figured it's 4.2 relevant
4.2 Cam/Keyboard: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1966302
Currently I have General Gallery (with editing), Camera with photosphere+Pano, and the keyboard works flawlessly. The new camera mode is pretty sweet considering 4.0-4.1.2 has been only using 4:3 view. Back to Full screen photos!
I can't seem to get the Photosphere view to work in Gallery tho. Just wondering if anyone else has tried either on stock rom or AOSP customs.
I can't wait to get the full 4.2 onto my HOX

Finally I found it on internet, after searching a lot on XDA and on google. Uploaded to google drive, so that other users can download and use it easily.
Here is the link to download
SNote Premium Suite
Tests:
Yes, I have tested it on my GT-N7000 with KingDroid 2.0 ROM. It's working perfectly. Please post your result in reply.
(I didn't find the user who uploaded it on 4shared server, I should have given him the credit anyways.)

cm9...cant install this app...
does it need Samsung framework???
tried normal install = nochance
tried change name and install = no chance
tried to copy with root explorer to /system/app+reboot = no chance
tried to rename+copy with root explorer to /system/app = no chance
...is the rom in which it works for you a stock rom???
It may not work on CM
CM9 is completely different framework. Without even testing it, (though you tested already) I am sure and I can say it won't work on CM9 or similar ROMs. More experienced developers can tell you the exact reasons but for now I just can say it should work on all other custom roms other than CM9.
what is this actually? I've got S Note on Criskelo, is this different?

It is same. Actually I have KingDroind 2.0 with S3 addon which does not have SNote app. Few other custom roms also do not have the SNote app which comes with premium stock ICS rom. So this is for all users who didn't get it preinstalled.
This is extracted from the official firmware.
Is this really the premium SUITE? In the video I saw there were other features like charting that I do not see in the S-Memo app.
What is up with that?

SNote. It comes with ICS by default.
So... many... permissions...
But as I'm on ParanoidAndroid v.2, which is CM9, no joy anyway.
Well for me its kinda the same as the default...

Sorry XDA didn't allow me to share the outside links in the form of actual links.
So you need to copy the above link and remove spaces in https string.
Though I am sharing this outside link for all users out there.

I have not tested it on GB, though its a simple guess that it won't work. It's based on ICS.
Hey guys,
i made a SG3 initially for HTC one X,
I tried this on my friends htc desire and it worked like a charm
This Mod will also not interfere with any other mods you may have installed and will not remove anything or change anything, just adds extra frameworks and ofcourse an app!

is it possible to port this camera on our galaxy i727?
No it's not, the camera heavily depends on HTC framework.
(or should I say, theoretically possible, given infinite time and will - but not in a real world)

sorry does it boter you to post a little link?
here what i found before post my ?
bytway..here what i found...very similar with panorama features.....
it wont replace the stock camera and gallery...(i uninstalled after sure evertything was working)
not my work i just found it on xda.....
it's a zip install from costum recovery......
So I was looking at my i9300 and realized I had a zip file with the cam file
So if you like the aosp cam try it. go through the zip and in the app folder you will see gallery apk install if all goes well you will have both cams
Sorry I didnt see this so if someone posted? mods remove please .
I did not modify this at all also .
But adding lib files below will allow more functionality
Thanks proctologist for that
here the zips no flashing needed
This one has photosphere but not 13mp http://db.tt/J2wRr3GR
http://db.tt/tz5G1G1D this one has no photosphere but 12.8 mp and other functions
Is there a way to get all functions of both versions working ?

You're missing three libs to make it work properly (photosphere etc):
libjni_filtershow_filters.so
libjni_mosaic.so
liblightcycle.so

LOL I didn't ask a question. I stated that for the FULL functionality, you need three lib files. For example photosphere won't work properly... I will dig them out and upload them for you.
EDIT: Zip attached, it is not flashable. They need to go to /system/lib/...

I'm not getting it to work :/
if i Flash the Camera first the app won't start. If i put the app by myself in System/app/... and put the Libary files in System/lib... the Camera Starts but still no Photo sphere
What am i doing wrong?
because im using i9505?
There is two versions one has photosphere the other does not take a screen shot of the aosp cam menu ill see if its the version you are using or not also depending on what file veiwer your using make sure you allow rw privs while adding lib and app files I'm sure you know that though
HTC-DNA,HTC-ONE,s3x2,s4-i9500
works great thanks mate.
the only thing that sucks a bit is that it includes the gallery app , which i dont like and dont wanna have running all the time.
installing the camera app only is probably not possible.
but thanks for this, i like it.

With what we know right now..No, not a chance. But arroyo (if I'm not mistaken) mentioned there were some cases where people without gyroscope emulated it using accelometer and magnetic sensor (we do have both of those) so there could be a chance for photosphere to work IF someone from here could make a kernel for for our device which can emulate gyroscope.

Actually, gyroscope is physical feature and couldn't be implemented in kernel. (I asked some devs)
But we dont know if someone could modify kernel to emulate gyroscope. Maybe someone should give it a try.

It takes (almost) 360 degree and more of a place you want. I find it nice to have but really hard to use, the result isn't really as I expected, but I'm probably doing it wrong though.

last night i found on android advice this news Guide to Install Google Photosphere Camera App in Non-Nexus Devices – Download APK . I dl the app and tried it first on a huawei g300 runnung a cm10.1 custom rom like arco68. surprise : it worked. so hopeful i tried on build 6 but i could not install it. As the huawei is a lowend phone (not superior to the w) and as both are using cm10.1 rom I was wondering why this app cant be installed in our device. I repeat i do not think it s in the hardware

That Huawei is running on a different hardware so the libs for it (the software part) are also different. Photosphere it's a software feature, that's true. But the hardware needs to support it too.
Nonetheless, you can try it in Alpha 7 as well. Maybe kernel 3.0 supports it but kernel 3.4 does not.
