Original Topic: SU fails after removal of SuperSU
So I tried out SuperSU earlier today, I didn't like it, I removed it through the options that tells me to update Superuser's su binary after the removal.
Now that my SU just stuck on updating, it just stuck on 'Making sure new su works..."

However, all my apps that required root still works, but only for those apps that I granted access before, I don't get su popups anymore.
Any idea how I can solve this?
BTW, this is what Root Checker returns back.
EDIT: Trying to re-install through SuperBoot
EDIT2: Fixed with SuperBoot, however I'm still not able to update su, it's back to 3.0.3.2 again though.
EDIT 3: I gave up, I guess I'll just switch to SuperSU instead

This box appear when I tried to install the apps (sample here is go sms theme maker). It says "error, cannot install app with the same device i.d.
How can i fix this? I have a rooted phone, and I already tried to search this one on the root folder (/...), but I can't find what is causing the errors. I tried using SD Maid, and try if it's a corpse file (because currently, I uninstalled this app), but this does'nt appear in the corpse finder. I tried the dalvik-cache if there is some .dex file remains there, but still nothing.
So before I will reflash my ROM (which I think is the last option available for me), I try to post here. Hope that anyone can give me another idea to try to clean this error up.

Have a look at http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1219029
So I just opened up my Opo, went through the process of rooting and unlocking.
Unlock went fine and I have the latest twrp up and running. Flashed supersu in recovery and I still do not have root access.
Did I miss something?

Did you get supersu from http://download.chainfire.eu/supersu - - flash that and then open up supersu does it ask for the binary to be updated? If so, let supersu do its thing and then reboot.

Install the app from play store.
Uncheck Respect CM Root settings in SU settings and the root will stick . This should be mentioned in the guides it is a common mistake,
Be careful with latest twrp 2.8.0.1 as well please read up in offical and unoffical twrp thread for some serious potential issues. Especially prior to restoring
I was rooted my C185B560 yesterday. I wanted to install Viper4Android. That app needs to install BusyBox on 'su/xbin' folder. But i can't install BusyBox to 'su/xbin' folder. When i select installing folder to su/xbin, it saying 'su/xbin does not exist ...' in BusyBox app. I am trying install BusyBox to another locations, it's installing but Viper4Android is not working... Help please?
If you made root with SuperSU, you will not be able to install Viper or Busybox, since it is a soft root, you do not really have system permissions. I use the phh's method and I have Viper and Busybox working fine! By the way, if you manage to make it work, remember to install Viper as a system application, and also install SELinuxMode Changer and switch to Permissive, otherwise it will not work.
Sorry for my bad English, I use the Google Translator.

Hey there everyone! I being an avid user of snapchat for a long time and cannot live without rooting and installing xposed on my device i've had troubles with Snapchat not logging in. Hence, this guide.
- WHAT YOU'LL NEED -
A Device with root.
Xposed doesnt matter.
An app named Root Switch.
Get it here!
- METHOD -
1. Install the app

"lightbox_download": "Download",
"lightbox_share": "Share",
"lightbox_zoom": "Zoom",
"lightbox_new_window": "New window",
"lightbox_toggle_sidebar": "Toggle sidebar"
}
2. Open it up and disable both root and xposed(if you have xposed)
Switch them off and re-boot your device
3. After re-boot, open snapchat and login.
4. Now you'll definitely be logged in.
Et Voila!
Do re-boot your device after logging in Snapchat so you get back root and xposed.

Thank me later! Go and login into snapchat!
Check attachment. I really have xposed installed and Snapchat working.
no longer works for me
No good
App is in Arabic, but it works! Thanks!
Hi.
I got this message today that i need to verify my phone with Google Play and now i can't use any Google app like Chrome and Play store. So i was instructed to do to this with adb and enter this command:
adb rootadb shell 'sqlite3 /data/data/com.google.android.gsf/databases/gservices.db \
"select * from main where name = \"android_id\";"'
But this is the message i get

"lightbox_download": "Download",
"lightbox_share": "Share",
"lightbox_zoom": "Zoom",
"lightbox_new_window": "New window",
"lightbox_toggle_sidebar": "Toggle sidebar"
}
I am a complete noob when it comes to this stuff so some help would be appreciated.
Thanks
Edit: Nvm i'm getting a new phone **** this ****
As screenshot shows the command
Code:
adb root
can't get executed because your device's Android is of type production build where a rooted ADB isn't supported at all.
I see. But it doesn't matter anymore cause i already got the Google Framework ID and it didn't even work. Not sure how i'll fix that without resetting everything so i'm just gonna get a new phone and never deal with this bs again.
