Bluetooth Keyboard or mouse - LG Optimus 3D

Since we are out of luck with USB OTG so far...
In ICS BT setup it shows keyboard and mouse options for pairing.
anyone here have success with Bluetooth Keyboards and mice. Share the model numbers that are proven to work.
I have HDMI to a TV so it would be a neat trick to have wireless keyboard and mouse hooked up.

I have BK-600 keyboard and use app "KeyPro" because i have GB ROM and do not support HID.
Keyboard works well )
for zeemote controler i use "bluez IME"
but in ICS have support bluetooth HID??I have bluetooth mouse but dont work in GB ;( and i can't find any app for bluetooth mouse

If this official ICS from LG does not have support for KB and mouse I'd be somewhat disappointed. The settings imply support is there... see my screenshot.

Guys, is there any way to use bluetooth keyboard or mouse on CM7? And if there is, can the keyboard and mouse be connected at the same time?

How to map xbox 360 controller/gamepad/wiimote?

Hey guys, looks like after the update the 360 controller works now
Great news but what to do with it?
I mean, its great for mapping the controls to emulators but I Want to map it for android games! Like asphalt 6 and NOVA and others!
This would also help us to map wiimotes and other gamepads to other applications and games.
Anyone know how?
anyone? please?

no way to map wiimotes and gamepads to other games other than emulators?
On a side note. I used my standard USB gamepad and it works great. I don't think you need a 360 or PS3 pad specifically.
Just any old USB gamepad. Mine is a Saitek or something. It looks and feels like a PS3. Its too quality of PC gamepads.
I also have a wireless Wii gamepad that works well.
I tested this last night and the controls just work. You can't change the mappings but the buttons function. So Nova and others will work. You also have touch screen for those games if something came up which required touch input.
For emulators with key mapping... you just map ad normal.
For standard android games... they just work.

On asus transformer with ics the sixaxis controller is natively supported without the need for any other application
I played Meganoid using gamepad. Don't remember having any problems so it's probably fully suported.
Gunman Clive
Helium Boy Demo There is a paid version of the game to.
Pretty fun game with nice graphics. colorful and playful feeling..
Both games supports keyboard, gamepad. Have its own setting menu so you can mapp your keys..
The keys that works and the ones you can use on the keyboard when you set up the buttons (think this goes for all games)
Tab
Caps lock
Shift Buttons
Ctrl Buttons
Alt
Arrows
If you have Sixaxis app. You can use all the keys on the keyboard to choose from if you set Sixaxis to input metod. Seems that this works witout root. So it should work the same if you have the app USB Joystick Center.
Open Sixaxis
Change IME
Choose Sixaxis Conroller
Asus Prime & Tapatalk
Thanks for the advice, but I play all games that support keyboard or mouse or gamepad only with DroidMote.
The important thing is to support some external input devices.

I do not like touch profiles, I find it uncomfortable to create a touch profile for each game, or different touch profile for different screen size or change touch profile for every game. if the game support the gamepad, from the comfort of my couch, with a single device i play with all games.
In essence we are only interested in games that support external input devices.
So are the games listed in the first two posts compatible with Sixaxis without touch profiles?

unfortunately I can't post links yet...sorry. Just search it in google play.

You mean the very first entry in the gamepad settings? BTW, "Aim" brings up the scope/sights.
Thank You!
I have searched the Internet for about... ehh 30 minutes trying to find a list like this. No surprise it would be found on XDA i should have came here to start with. Quick Question... You said "Now that ICS is among us" I have a Xoom (Unrooted Android 4.1) and EVO 4G (Ported CyanogenMod9 4.04) Do you believe either one of my devices will support gameplay with my Playstation Controller? or Maybe Both? What do you think?
I can't get my Xbox 360 USB controller to work anywhere. Super annoying.
All gamepad supported games will work with sixaxis app just tick emulate gampade controller and the go into the gampad supported game go to settings and there should be map gamepad control's some games like GTA 3 will work straight away

OTG and MHL Doubt.

So i have been buying games in the play store like crazy  I was wondering that how awesome it will be to connect my phone to my TV using the MHL cable (I know this part).
AND
Connect a wireless keyboard or Xbox 360 Joystick to the phone (I read that PS3 joystick works) and sit back and play.?
Is it possible to do the second part??:silly:

Well i use the mhl for movies and stuff, and also for a bit of work.
Also have nice rubber, rollable BT keyboard -- works pretty well.
Unfortunately Cynogen -- which gives u best google experience doesnt support mhl ATM. and some apps dont work -- PS touch for instance...
hmm so there is no way to get a wireless keyboard or the xbox joystick to work
I tried a usb gamepad from flipkart to use it with my galaxy note on gingerbread but it doesnt work. .......after the ICS update i tried it and seems working and now no need to buy expensive ps3 controller. ......I used to play games like shadow gun and riptide and many more

I imagine because your unable to map the controller to the touch screen it will work with a few select games that have native gamepad support
Although if you download USB/bt joystick centre you can map them I think

The only thing I don't like about mhl is the big performance hit the phone takes so if a game pushes your phone already and you connect via mhl then it becomes unplayable for me. But less demanding games and emulators work great.

Oh yes thats it.........i tried it with games like shadow gun and riptide....also the homescreen can be controlled. ....also there is list of games on xda about the games that support usb gamepad

Your only option:
-Root your NOTE (gingerbread or ics, any kernel with mhl support)
-Get a SIXAXIS compatible controller (eg sixaxis, dualshock3, datel turbofire2)
-Get the SIXAXIS App (Paid) from the Market
-Get a MHL-cord and connect to PC
-Now you connect your Controller to NOTE via BlueTooth using the SIXAXIS App
-Use the SIXAXIS App to map which button does what action OR where it taps the screen
-Save/Load profile for various games
-Connect NOTE to HDTV via MHL and USB-power
-Enjoy!

Alright! ordering my OTG and MHL tomorrow. Lets see which one works.
Hi there......
If course, it's possible to connect the note with the mhl to a tv and connect a wireless keyboard over Bluetooth.....
I use the keyboard from keysonic 340 BT, that's great, have a mousepad, works great with the "external Keyboard Helper" app, there you can configure 3 complete keymappings to the whole keyboard and switch them how you want..... Also gamepad keys are available....
For gaming:
Most of the new games are supporting Gamepads already........
For ps3 Controller use the sixaxxis App, works for sure.....
But there ist also an app that is called bt/Usb joystick center, wich should connect all kind of wired and wireless pads to the Usb host or Bluetooth.......
I got the app but have no controller at the moment to test it.....
There's also an add on, called joy2touch, this should make it possible, to configure a keyboard, wired or wireless, to play games like on pc with mouse for view and keyboard control, that's what the dev promise, but sure I never test it...... If it works, it would be fantastic......
But the quality of the Mhl picture is fantastic.... At movies, you can watch them in real 1920 x 1080, more than the display can show.... Great.....
And also in games, there is enough resolution to play it on a great hd tv set.... A real mobile game console.......

Just got my MHL and OTG cable .
And just realized that after connecting the MHL i wont be able to connect the OTG cable as we have only 1 port:silly::silly:.
So was looking at alternatives to play the games not and later buy some good joysticks. Few games are working with the standard keyboard, mouse but i have to map them.
Also came across this wireless joystick . Any idea if this will work with sixaxis or similar app to map the buttons?

Gamepad

is there a gamepad for optimus one?
If you mean a gamepad that plugs into the micro USB port or that overlays the screen, then no. The touchscreen bug on the Optimus One prevents us from using any sort of on-screen gamepad.
However, once you root, any Bluetooth gamepad will work perfectly fine.
it can mean "gamepad for play game in p500"
I use a ps3 controller (Bluetooth) with the sixaxis controller app. It works perfectly
