Hello everyone I am new to this, but have not had trouble unlocking my htc one x of AT & T 2.20 as there tutorials quite simple on the web, well now need if someone tells me or know of a tutorial to install a ROM suitable for my device because I find no or that I wanted to install the bootloader hang! here's the question:
I've a new at&t htc one x
it has
hboot - 2.14
android 4.1.1
I am not able to unlock the boot loader to root it.
I've tried steps from : http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2182792
but no go
stuck at the very first part of the process
i tried to get the Unlock_code.bin from htcdev.com
but I get an error after I provide the details
ERROR 160 MID NOT ALLOWED.
so not able to get that file from there.
any help available ?

Also, the guide you followed is for the HTC one !!!!!! Not the one x. Be careful as the method and roms are different for each device

There are clear guides available, like the one you posted in, you just need to do some learning. You haven't even given any useful details about your phone. I guess that's irrelevant though, the guide thread that you posted in is the correct one for your phone.
