How can I choose the mod what a need or test ?
thank's
You can either flash the tweaks package from the thread that you mention, or you can get a larger version from here
Flash the package and the reboot. Before the script boots into Android you will get several pages of options. Choose the ones you want.
Ok thx, do I need to wipe anything for package ?

Well I just need to flash the Rom then flash dalvik xD

how to use aroma installer

is it ok to install aroma after a rom has been flashed?
if i am looking to re-flash, do i flash aroma first, then flash the new rom, all while i am still in recovery?
Huh, to my knowledge aroma is built into the rom/kernel you want to flash, and is "unique" to that rom.
In other words, aroma isnt flashed - it just provides a graphical touch UI for the rom/kernel flashing.
in the ROM thread, this is mentioned, but it doesn't appear to be part of the ROM.
Add-on package for Viper One S
This package gives you optional bootanimations, AOSP apps and some Jelleybean apps, which can easily be flashed with comfortable Aroma Installer. We also added removal options, so you don`t need to download the full ROM again, only because you forgot to remove some bloat n the first flash

[AROMA] My After-Flash Apps - v1.4.1 [12-03-2013]

My After-Flash AppsVersion 1.4.1
Hi guys !
Boring to have to download again and again and again the same apps after flashing a new rom ?!
Maybe this tool is for you !
I'm used to flash roms, several times a week, almost always AOSP ROMS, or ROM without apps like manager files or like that, and sometimes i can't flash, over the current , so i need to wipe, and lost my apps, and have to download them and install them again and again ...
So i made an AROMA Installer, using Aroma App Package Creator , which i can use after flashing a new rom, like i reflash GAPPS ...
Maybe it could help someone, so i decided to share this with you !
AROMA config of this package is a little bit modified by myself.
I Hope you'll like it

Q/A
For which device is this tool ?
> Because of the update-binary-installer file modified, it's made for Sensation and SensationXE,but maybe it could works on some others devicesHow can i put my own apps ?
> Open the zip file with Winrar for example, or your favorite tool, and just drag and drop your .apk files in My_Apps folder.
But be careful, names of your apps don't have to contain any spaces characters, replace them by an underscore "_", or something else !
Future Updates
Multi languages selection (English / French)
Possibility for people to add their own apps from a subfolder in SD-Card (without touching the zip file)
Suggestions
I don't want this package become too big, but any suggestions are welcomes
Will be updated regularily !!

Sounds like a useful tools, but I don't know if I get it right. Can I pull my apps into it or is it only for the above mentioned apps you already put in?

I made a little package with apps mentionned (that's why suggestions are wlecomes, if some could be added ), but you could try to put your own in, if you want. Or trying the tools i used before "Aroma app package creator".
I'm working on a dynamic online aroma creator, PHP based. You should be able to put your apk, and generate your own package ...
But not ready yet
Sounds great! :good:
Are those apps written in Aroma or only put into the apps sub folder?
I would try to put mine in...

The advantage of AROMA is to have a visual and make a choice of what app you want to install.
So you have to modify it to see your app in the list, and managed to select them for installation.
Or you could just add some lines code which will automatically install some apps, without prompting ... but better way to make a flashable zip instead of an AROMA installer if you have nothing to select
Will test it tomorrow when I reflash my rom. Tested so many apps, icons and themes, it's nearly full of crap :good:

Hi,
Like i said in first post, i used Aroma App Package Creator, to make my fisrt package, and see how it works.
After that, i made some modifications in the aroma-config file to had some features, changed the update-binary-installer file for one worked fine with our sensi.
So you can extract the zip linked, and add your apps in data, and changed some lines in aroma-config. there are some comments in this file, it could be easy to know where changes have to be done.
But i'm looking for the best way, to allow people to add in their own apps ... without making some dirty modifications directly in thoses files
i also said that i'm creating an online tool, which allow everybody to make it own aroma package, with apps they wanted into. But not ready yet.
For your apps, Facebook, is already in, i think i could add MX player ...
Most important i think is ES Files Explorer, which allow you to install other apps from your SD
For the others, if there are many suggestions about the same apps you wanted in, i will add them
Thx for your feedback
Little screenshot added !
Thanks For The Reply... I will flash 10.1 JB Today and will then try your installer
and yes the tools you included are best for basic installations , and most use them too , I had those in my app list but you already included them so i didn't posted them ..

Does not worked for me. From stock lollipop with locked bootloader and latest nuts recovery.
Did a factory reset in twrp, checked md5 at starting aroma phone rebooted. Recovery still worked so i switched to philz. Wiped with clean to install new rom. Starting aroma, phone reboot. No recovery anymore. Had to flash tft via flashtool, root and flash nuts to restore backup

Done, with pleasure, im really enjoying this ROM. I wanted to link @greatslon or the webpage in my signature, but i didnt knew how. Oh well... any help with it?
Wich kernel its recommend for ubl?
I'm using this rom a long time. Last version is fantastic. Thank you @greatslon. My all problems gone...
If you use the lolipop and miui same time install miui on kitkat base rom with recovery, set your rom and backup miui in recovery (twrp prefer) then install prerooted-dual recovery lollipop in recovery , set your rom and backup too. Choose with recovery restore menu which do you like using, miui and lollipop working well. Aroma installer working when the new version release. Sorry for my bad english.
xperia-aosp-navbar xposed module solve the menu button problem.
If I currently have duel recovery installed and using lollipop. Can I just use flash tool to flash a 4.4.4 firmware and untick the recovery option?
Thus should roll it back to kitkat but leave my TWRP in place. Am I correct?
Thanks in advance.

It's fine. I have sorted it now. Last question. How do I change the language from Russian to English. A lot of things and system prompts come up in Russian even when I have the language set to English.
Thanks!
Good to know. I'm planning to migrate from ZL to Z2 or Z3C.
Thanks Greatslon

[Completed] Can I replace apps from root/system/app folder before installation?

Hi guys, I am using @fa1zali Optimus ROM v4.4.2, I got some issues so I am thinking of installing the same ROM again. I don't know much about android development but, if I extract the ROM package and replace the old apps from "root/system/app", replace them with the new ones(renaming the new ones with same name) and zip it again. Is it going to work or not? because if they are logged in some file then its not going to work.
And if I add some more apps there, they will get installed or not?
I am thinking of updating all apps before installation if its possible.
Thanks

Hi and thank you for using XDA Assist
At soon as the apps are compatible with the device yes you can replace the apps in the zip with the ones you want but be aware that not all the apps can be removed or replaced. If you add more apps into the system/app folder, yes those apps will also get installed.
Good luck!
