i am a novice. i have been rooting and playing with the fun cm roms for about a year and a half now and finally got a computer worthy of helping me learn all the things that the google dev. site has to offer. it seems there is a glitch in the 64bit windows 7 os and i can't install oracle. i am super excited to finally be active on this site, i have been refferencing these forums off and on for a long time now and once i get past this little problem i can officially start becoming useful. please anyone, can you help me this has been an issue for almost a week

hi guys.
i am not sure if i m posting in the right forum,
because i have searched a bit around but cant get an answer for some reason.
i have got hold of a pocket pc, and it isnt a mobile fone, just a pocket pc on its own.
i am looking to upgrade its os, which currently is win mobile 2003 se, build 4.21 or something like that
just wondering if any of you guys know what i can do to upgrade the system to either wm 5 or 6 .. any help will be great

Even though I registered on this website almost a year ago, I never posted anything, I've been using your site as a source of knowledge.
I'm a 40 year old noob, father of two wonderful kids and owner of 2 android devices (I almost mixed up kids and devices here...:angel.
I'm very interested into Android Programming (trying to learn Java in my spare time) and I was a hardcore gamer (b4 kids). I also like building computers, a passion that has come to stop for obvious reasons, and I'm very much into watersports (windsurfing...don't be dirty minded).
Damn, I feel a bit ridiculous telling all this about me now :laugh:
Ah, I almost forgot, I own a HTC Sensation and a Hannspad.

Hi everyone, It has been awhile since I have browsed this forum, but I wanted to come back and say thank you to everyone who helped me while I had this device and developed for it. This was my first android phone, and it really kicked off my interest in android development. I even had a Gingerbread rom up on these forums for awhile until I moved onto my next device (HTC One X) in the middle of the development process (sorry :silly.

Hello, I recently obtained a brand new Nextbook Ares 11 (11.6" Quad-Core 2-in-1 Tablet). While it has been factory installed with lollipop which runs quite smooth with consideration to the keyboard, I would like to be able to dual boot this device with windows xp or newer. I have certain windows applications I use for work and could benefit greatly if I had them on this tablet. I really hate to sacrifice andriod though, its actually out of the question...Life without andriod just isnt living... I have seen a few videos and sites that clearly show this done, but ive yet to find any instructions/details/software so Ive decided to post on here. I figured if you guys cant help then you can point me to a thread or website that can. Thanks for your time and help, ill attach two pictures with stats of the device.

please take the time to read my problem .hello my name is samhith i used to own an android one which has almost every rom imaginable. it was one of the first devices to successfully boot nougat.so i guess you have an idea of how dev friendly it was. but now i upgraded (downgraded actually)to a coolpad note 3 lite which has no sources is mtk and has only a 1.3ghz quadcore . i feel so low and am about to go into borderline depression . i am a computer science student of 11th grade and my sems are coming up in 10 days so i have to study well but i cant because of lack of concentration ever since i touched android i have deteriorated in studies my interest in programming has gone down and so has my love for science so please help. i cant buy any other device. oh and my dad is an ex flashaholic.he says he just lost intrest after chaanging to a k3 note
