Database Info

NatWest banking app

Could somebody download the NatWest banking app which is free from the market and post it here. I had it on stock rooted 2.3.4 but it is not available to download on my stock rooted 2.3.5 and i have tried all the fixes that i can find.
Sorry about the laziness but i dont fancy reinstalling twice just to get one app when one of you kind people could help!
Any help would be much appreciated.

There isn't an Android app for NatWest, only Apple and BlackBerry

I lie, it is on the Market but I can't get it either as I'm running the 2.3.5 ROM and it's 'not compatible' apparently

Well thanks for looking into it but i'm using your rom so your not the person to help!! I assume it's a 2.3.5 compatability issue with the market as it doesn't officially exist for the sensation.
I downloaded it on my wife's DHD but the file in system/app was a zip file which i changes to apk but it wouldn't install. On further inspection, i noticed that the file was ~1mb and on the market the apk is advertised as 2.4mb.
Any ideas? (other than reverting to 2.3.4 just to pull the apk)

I'm gonna go back to stock to get it but it shouldn't really make a difference. I know someone here has another device so will try with his and see what I can sort out. Have been waiting on a NatWest app for months on Android!
Got it on a colleagues unrooted Wildfire S but having issues pulling it with ADB - Windows isn't seeing the phone. I'll keep at it as I think it's a driver issue

Looks like it can't be done. The apk is actually a .ZIP (as you've said) and renaming it to an apk won't install. Don't think it's available unless it appears on the Market for your phone

I have downloaded the app on my rooted sensation, is they anything I can download to back it up and then upload to dropbox or something ?? I am sure I used something to backup an app and installed it on my other phone before but cant remember the name of it.

It can't be backed up as the app itself is a ZIP file not an APK. I've already pulled the app from my phone using adb and it remaing it to a .apk doesn't work. Looks like NatWest have made a boo boo with their app

May i ask what you did?

Installed it from the market and copied the apk using ES File Explorer.

I extracted the apps from /data/app using adb and it came out as a ZIP - bizzare!!

Probably because it's in /data/app-private.

Yep,got it yesterday from Desire. Took me a while to work it out. If anyone needs it in case link doesn't work I can always chuck it into dropbox.

Got mine about 12h later. Quite sleek app to be honest, but responds weirdly when you flick through accounts, you'll see what i mean.

Update to app out now, we now have transfers!!

[Sense 4][Keyboard MOD/Theme] HTC keyboard Blue&Red style

Hi, this is my MOD/THEME for Sense 4 Keyboard, Tested on OrDroid 2.1.1 ROM with no issue. I think it will work fine for any sense4 ROMs.
Two style themes for your choice:
One is the ICS BLUE style for HTC sensation, The other one is the BLUE&RED style for HTC sensation XE with beats.
Just download it what you want and flash in recovery.

Yes,there are.

Any chance that the key colours could be done in red instead of blue and also include in portrait mode the arrows.

Bootloader still not unlockable. Root still works!

One Click Root is not working on this RUU. I keep getting this error:
adb server is out of date. killing.............

Does this have the visual voice mail pre installed? I know you can manually install but don't want to.

enable usb debugging. stop any adb processes that are currently running on your PC. and make sure HTC Sync isn't running as well.

okay updated . And I lost everything Root is gone. can I re root now ?

[Deodexed & Zipaligned GT-I9305 XXALI5] for GT-I9305

Hello.
I just deodex & Zipaligne all .apk's and framework's.
This is not a full rom, it will install and replace only your system/app and system/framework folder's so you will be deodexed after that.
PLEASE BACKUP YOUR ROM WITH CWM BEFORE TRY THAT!!
IT IS UNTESTED BECAUSE I DONT OWN THE DEVICE YET!!
It is only for GT-I9305 with XXALI5.
Steps:
1). Install CWM recovery.
2). Copy the Deodexed_I9305_XXALI5.zip to your ExtStorage or Internal and boot to CWM and flash it.
Please reply back if all is working then i will start to mod some think's. (Like phone recording etc....)
Also if you have a newer generic firmware reply back with a link.
EDIT: XXALI5-CallRecording uploaded. (Install it via CWM)
You can use it also with odexed firmware's. (Please reply also if all is ok)

Soon as I get mine I will this week should be getting it. Mick is gone on holidays till the end of the month but he said his going to work on compiling a new kernel to support Fm radio . That way people will be able to download spirit fm and it should work on a rooted i9305. These fones do have the hardware. I don't know Maybe you can beet him to it since you know your way around android or give him a hand when his back. When I get my fone I am going to try make sure it has the firmware with fm support that way we can get a nanroid and creat our own firmware . I'm willing to help with what ever for now so feel free to msg me

ive tried to deodex my LI7 with smali and everythings fine except the camera.apk FC.. just reverted back to stock odex rom..

I will be doing that tonight with the HK shipped ROM as well. I'll let you know my findings.

I have a question I want to try this, But I have deleted some of my un-used system apps, now is this going to be a problem as this flash will try to look for apps that are not there, please let me know if it will be ok and how it actually works

i think the bat will only look for apk that is available at that moment with a loop script..doesnt matter if u have your stock apk there or not..
should be *.odex that script will look for

If you install the Deodexed_I9305_XXALI5.zip the system/app and system/framework folder on your phone it will be formated and replaced by XXALI5 default but Deodexed app's.

Changing tablet keyboard?

Well I have a p3100 tab and I think the keyboard in the stock jelly been is better so can I install it in
Cyanogen Mod . I have the apk but it says not installed
So help please

1. Using any root explorer copy them to system/apps/
2. Go to settings and choose input methods and enjoy
Do tell me if it works and plz press thnx button if it does

dont try to install the apk just copy it with the odex folder to the folder and go ro settings and choose it.from language and input
