Hello to all!
I'm having an issue when I go into settings > interface > general > notification background alpha and when I adjust the slider and apply it I suddenly loose my status bar until I go in and hit apply again. Not really a big deal but slightly annoying. This ROM is awesome and pretty much the only thing I have to complain about. Thanks ahead for any tips!

I want a drop down status bar menu like this :

Is there any way to get that ? i dont know what it is called but I saw on my frnd's cell and its pretty handy at times. So is there any app by which we can get that thing ?
Thanks
Never mind I found app called notification toggle
My recommendation would be to install a ROM with toggles already on it. Which most do. Notification toggle is an app, which you'll notice it says "ongoing" all the time. That's because it's an app that runs all the time. This is likely to consume battery, and it also sits IN the notification area, cluttering it up, while a ROM with toggles is above the notification area.

I think you're walking about ParanoidAndroid. It's a Rom with Tablet and Phone UI. No Tweak
no am not talking abt any other rom.
i just want to know is there a mod or tweak which changes the position of status bar from top of the screen to bottom.
meaning the signals bar, notifications, everything appear in the bottom just above the softkeys
Skanky kang also has this option. I have no idea how to port it it miui, sorry.

Not possible in MIUI.
I probably messed with a setting to cause this but I cannot find the setting to fix it.
My status bar icons turned black on me. I was able to change the status bar Color itself to a grey but I would like to change the icon color back to white. Does anyone know where this setting is or a possible fix for stupid?
Thanks in advance

Let be know when you figure it out! Lol. I inadvertently dis it to mine Saturday
Change the status bar icons back to white and they will show up normal again. Go to Settings -> Interface -> Statusbar -> General -> Notification Color at the very bottom. Change it to white even if it already looks white and you should be good.
I had this same issue and it drove me nuts trying to figure it out. Saw a fix last night on the development thread. I think hitting "Reset Statusbar" is what breaks it, but I'm not sure it's the only thing.

Armyag08 you are correct that did work. Also I believe you are correct about the reset button.

I lost all my notifications as well after tweaking my status bar then hitting reset. i reflashed the ROM to get them back. I'm sure this will save a lot of people from having to do this. Thank You!
It's a 4.2.2 problem.
Instead of a reboot just switch theme then back.
Or
Change your quick tiles settings and that restarts the bar.
Much faster than rebooting. Its not a ROM specific problem guys!

My status bar keeps disappearing and reappearing for some strange reason. It's a rolling motion. Anyone know why this happens?
I have xposed installed and nova launcher.
Thanks

Nova Settings / Look & feel / Notification Bar - make sure that Show Notification Bar is toggled to on. If that doesn't resolve the issue I would say check any of your exposed modules that might effect your status bar. Hope that helps.

Thanks. I figured it might be a faulty module.
