[Q] Video playback Snapshots... - Verizon Samsung Galaxy S III

I'm looking for an app or an apk port that can take snapshots of video playback. Like the htc one x. Please don't confuse this with taking pictures while shooting video, I can already do this. I want to take pictures of video playback...Anyone know of one?

Search on the market, those type of apps generally are called frame grabbers.

Just do a screen capture while watching the video.

Don't know if its the same thing, whitehawx just posted a modded camera app in his valhalla custom ROM thread somewhere on page 15/16ish. It let's you auto use the power button to take pictures. It will auto focus before taking the picture, but you still need to be at least 4 or 5 inches away from the object though.
He wants to focus Video, so no not the same thing

Advertised Features: 8 MP camera with HD 720p video camera and 1.3 MP front-facing camera
Kernel...that would depend on what you have in mind? Some like OC, some like to use the HD...take a look at the kernel thread with on the Ref page, first link on my signature block...plus while your waiting on your phone, read some of the links also in my signature page...not my work, just passing the great info...

Thanks bigjoe! Looking now.
One other question it may sound stupid however I'm asking.
The charging port is it located on the bottom of the phone?
I dislike the side and top charging ports for some reason they always seem to get in the way at the wrong time.

Even if I change video recording resolution to 1920x1080 in lgcamera, it still records 720p.

Sgr can't record at 1080p, and OP report mod to move this thread in app section.

[MOD REQUEST] Streched Image in Front Camera

Hi everybody.
I'm using CM9 Alpha 11 and I need to know where's the mod to fix the distorted image we can see when we take a photo with the front camera.
Thanks in advance.
Greetings!
It is a known issue man.
Sent from my GT-I9003 using xda app-developers app
There is no such mod,. Yet.
U should read everything in the rom thread before posting these threads. Its an issue in cm9
it is issue on cm9 mate you can read in the development thread *cheers
I think he's talking about the workaround, it works only on the camera app, not on skype or others, it's in the last 6 pages, just search and flash it.
The image is "flattened" when trying to take a photo, but then taking it correctly display the image

It should be 4k DCI or 4k UHD or HD1080p, which is the default?
Cannot find FPM?
Slow Motion by default is OFF......has 2 options 60FPS and 120 FPS?
Thanks.
Video > Advanced > Video codec is H.264, is MPEG 4 better?
Audio codec ACC......AMR.NB better?
Thanks.
Use Google to research these things, there are plenty of resources out there to answer your questions if look for them, instead of creating unnecessary threads on XDA.

Yeah seriously OP made 7 threads asking about different things. Most of these generic questions can be found online. We at XDA can't answer everything, you have to look for them on your own as well.
Yeah I counted too. @Michael1122, XDA isn't your personal q&a machine. You could have answered your questions yourself if you had done some research. The first rule of XDA is to search thoroughly before posting, only if you can't find information after conducting a really thorough search should you post a thread.
