SwiftKey Flow - Verizon Samsung Galaxy S III

Is anyone else really excited for this app? I am an avid SwiftKey user, and this looks like the perfect combination between Swype and SwiftKey. There's a video preview online, and it looks awesome. I'm signed up for beta testing, and I'm anticipating this greatly. Does anyone know when this beta may be released to the VIP members of their forums?

Can't wait, this will be the ultimate keyboard for me
Reports are saying VIP beta will be out in the next couple of weeks. Then full release someone in q1 of 2013

This will be the one keyboard to rule them all. I have switched between TouchPal and Swiftkey just on the swipe like function alone. But Swiftkey has always been better at predicting what you are going to say, even for my bi-lingual self (English/Spanish).

i am really excited. im so sick of the stock keyboard.

The music made it so intense. I was waiting for something to explode.! Lol

This is great - I want it right now, haha. I hope the beta is very usable. Did you beta test SwiftKey 3? Was it pretty solid pre-release?

I couldn't agree more. This keyboard scared me how well it knows my speech patterns. I learn a lot about myself using this keyboard. Can't wait for the swipe abilities!

SwiftKey is awesome, but I never cared for swype. I can touch type with SwiftKey pretty well... thanks to the auto correct. I still signed up for the beta though

Signed up for the beta aswell I love swift key 3

I'm a Swype users, but will definitely switch if SwiftKey pulls this off well. I can't stand touch typing, but I also can't stand how dumb Swype is when it comes to learning my styles. Swype does have the Dragon speech recognition software built-in, though.

I have a lot of faith that they will make swiping more effective and efficient than Swype ever could.

Sign up for VIP. You get all betas and are Emailed when available.

I like Swype, but I'm hoping this is a better replacement. I can't stand touch typing. Being able to download right from the market...all they have to do is pull off swyping and I'm in.
Sent from my SCH-I535 using xda premium

Oh they will pull it off! They revolutionized touch typing and they'll revolutionize swiping typing too.

I'm really impatient about it !
I hope there will be many options for set up. I needed customized like in perfect keyboard but with SwiftKey intelligence!

You are setting yourself with that expectation ha SwiftKey takes awhile to introduce customization. Regardless, can't wait to try this out too. Their beta for SwiftKey 3 was awesome so I'm looking forward to this.

curious to see if this is as fast as Swype is...not likely, but worth a try
EDIT:
Just installed, it seems really cool..I'll have to unlearn Swype for a day or two to really know, but the word prediction feature is stunningly accurate!!
I can't remember; is SwiftKey a tap-to-type or a Swype-like keyboard? I got that email too, but I've never used it.

its tap to type, but it predicts the word you are going to type, so you never have to type an entire word...very cool predictive tech..

Replacement keyboard app

Looking for a replacement keyboard app. I currently use smart keyboard pro, its decent but looking to make a change depending on suggestions from users. Paid apps are fine, I don't mind supporting awesomeness lol.

Swiftkey X is one of the best out there. It can learn from SMS, YouTube, Facebook. You can theme it. It keeps statistics too, for what they're worth. I'd give that one a shot.

I only use smart keyboard pro. Give a few a try.
I use swiftkey x and it's awesome. Highly recommend it.
For what it's worth, I like super keyboard, the keys are the right size and I like it particularly because I can switch between and English keyboard and a Russian one, it can auto correct, you can program abbreviations which it automatically converts to the full word or words. Only complaint is the placement of the period, I tend to hit it when I hit the space bar.
Sent from my LG-P999 using xda premium
I've used swiftkey x in the past and it couldn't keep up with my typing but that could have been the rom I was at the time too. I'll take a look at super keyboard and give swiftkey another shot.

If you're a fast typer go for Super Keyboard, it keeps right up with my fast fingers, good old NES button mashing paid off.
Swiftkey x was OK. I couldn't get with checking if the next predicted word was what I was going to be typing. It really didn't save me any time. I like flext9 personally. Even has a swype feature.

I found the size to be great just the; pretty factor isn't really there but thats okay with me as I am trying to keep memory consumption down...
Edit: just tried swiftkey x and was very disappointed. Uses over 40mb of ram that's more than my launcher ffs not only that I couldn't find a way to disable the auto space after punctuation which pisses me off beyond all belief. Skins looked really nice tho..... unistalled and refunded. Wouldn't recommend it. Go keyboard and ics keyboard ftw.

I'm trying out the donation version by him now. I was using the one by vllwp, which worked well. The themes are the look of the keyboard. You can change the way it looks, vllwp version looks like ics. Johntanmi donation version let's you choose the look, the choices are just the same ones all keyboards can choose from, there is an option to download more though.

Best Swype Keyboard

I was wondering what do you guys think is the best swype keyboard? I've used Swype.com keyboard but was wondering if there is more customizable ones.
There are quite a few in the market. I used ultra keyboard. With that one, you can customize everything.

[App] Swype competition

I remember a while back there was a thread asking for suggestions for a keyboard to replace Swype. I came across one that deserves a look. Tswipe is a very nice option with a ton of customizations. It can be found in the Play Store as "free" however the swipe feature is a limited trial. I have no affiliation but just thought it was worth a share because I hadn't heard of it before.

But only because it was invented by a monkey.
It was bound to happen.
They have put an infinite number of monkeys in front of type writers hoping one of them will type the complete works of Shakespeare,
and one of them unexpectedly typed out the program code for Keymonk.

SwiftKey Flow Update

According to Droid Life, emails have been sent out to the people who signed up for swiftkey flow.
The link below is what was in the emails they sent.....

One of the comments says "Verizon Note 2 comes with swiftkey flow". That can't be true, he mistook the 2.2 keyboard probably.

I did read an article on another site that said some sort of Flow engine is used in the Verizon Note 2 but will probably look different then what is released to the public. Maybe they were waiting for the release of the Verizon Note 2 before releasing the beta? Who knows.
People already have the Note 2. So I expect its keyboard will be out soon!
I work for an indirect channel of Verizon and we got the note 2 today. I played with it and when you first use the Samsung keyboard the little popup window comes up and it talks about how to use swiftkey flow. It looks just like the Samsung keyboard from the jellybean leaks though. Weird....
