I don't have the bag, it looks like a nice one though.
I just wanted to comment on the stylus that comes with the deal.
Never seen one like it.
Pretty neat-o little thing...very different design.
Wonder who makes those?

Something with a little more protection (and style)

I know the prices do not compare, but check this out. It's what I have, but I got it on sale. You can also look at all of their bags that will suit the infinity. See if this works.

not sure if you decided to go with that or not, but I got http://www.amazon.com/Retro-Canvas-...1650340&sr=8-1&keywords=israeli+parachute+bag and it was pretty amazing. It houses both my 15 inch laptop several power cords and my tablet with keyboard, while still being fairly small. I have had it for a while, and it is the second such bag that I have owned, It takes a beating, and is well worth the price. I don't use a sleeve for my tablet, but I either have the keyboard dock or cover I purchased on, and I have had no scratch problems.

Order 2 of these (one for my son for his tablet; mostly for SL101 and adapter but sometimes with the SL101 and TF700 and one for my nephew for his iPad). Unfortunately, the price went up since I got it (doubled).
Case Logic QTA-110

with carrying a PS3 controller, you may want to go with more a brief case style travel bag. I would be worried about accidently breaking the controller since it'll likely the thickest thing in the page and protruding the most in the pocket.
I don't have recommendation because I use the sleeve. I do have a PS3 controller, but I keep mine in the topperware bin with a Wiimote and classic controller. I also drag around a OnLive universal controller too, but don't have a carrying case/topperware bin for it.

[Q] Case for the TF300T

Anyone know where I can get a case like the one attached, for the TF300? I found it on Amazon but it is not currently in stock.
Get the one for the prime and punch out two holes. One for the mic and one for the ear phones.
I have exactly that and love it

I got this one: http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B007HKIU08/ref=oh_details_o00_s00_i00
It was $12.99 when I bought it. I haven't received it yet so I can't tell you if its good or not. I only payed like $3 for it since I had $10 gift cards on amazon. So, hopefully it is worth that

Do you think it would be possible to post some pictures of what it looks like on your tablet?
this case has the headphone hole in the wrong location so you have to make your own whole. i have this one and had to cut it to create a hole for the headphones. other than that its a solid case. i just got it yesterday.

Quick Review: I really like this case. I have both this one and the Caseen Green Plaid case. I like them both. I prefer this one for work at a desk and static viewing. The caseen case is very superior for use on the move and the hand strap is priceless for working while moving and holding it. Both cases are well made without strong odor and were originally designed for the TF201 (Caseen's has been modified for the TF300 by Caseen)
The TF300 fits very well into the case without having to be forced and the velcro holds it very securely.
Pictures! (I'm an IT guy not a photographer)
Front Shots in the case standing up.
There is a microphone under this leather
You can see the hole punched in the Caseen case for the mic here:
This is where the headphone jack is:
See the hole in the caseen case:
Here is the camera on the right and the light sensor on the left. As you can see the light sensor is slightly obfuscated, this is not an issue for me since I don't use it.
Here are the speaker cut out (very slightly off) and the camera cutout (with the cut out for nonexistent flash)

can the tf201 sleeve work on the tf300t?

Asus transleeve works on infinity

I just received a transleeve cover (the origami one) for the tf201 and it works on my tf700 with no issues.
Fyi, in case that's the kind of cover you'd like for your tablet. I also have a keyboard dock, so I think I'm set on covers

What about buttons layout?
It's only a cover. So it doesn't cover any buttons. Have the same one myself, and it fits perfectly.

Not sure if it's the same case as with Prime but there were a lot of complains that this transleeve causes scratches.
Im curious how well the cover fits. I also have one from my prime and although it appears to fit initially, it doesn't actually lock in and it falls of rather easily. When I look at it from the bottom, I can see the hooks on the cover don't fully catch in the dock slots. Also, the usb cable connector opening isn't centered as it should be in the covers cut out. It's as if the dock connector slots are slightly deeper than they were with the primes. I am curious if this is just my device or in general.

I ordered mine from best buy recently, and I wanted to get this cover, I wonder if it would be worth getting a screen protector as well to help protect against scratches? I just hate screen protectors...never had a good one on any phone.

I had the same problem. Sleeve worked great on my Prime. When the camera module failed and the Prime was replace with the Infinity, I found the cover would not latch securely. Almost dropped the tablet the first time.
Tried several times to attach, but it just slips out of the connector slots

The slots on the TF700 have been redesigned. I'm not sure what the correct term for the bit of the slot that the latching mechanism clicks into, but I'll call it a shelf. On the TF201, the 'shelf' was part of the case, which meant that when attaching it to the dock, or in this case, the cover, the action of attaching would caus abrasion of the outward facing part of the 'shelf'. On the TF700, the 'shelf' is recessed, and made from what seems to be steel, so, although it will also get abraded, the marks will be fewer and less visible.
The recessing of the shelf means that the the 'neck' of the latches being pushed in needs to be slightly longer so that it latches in behind the shelf properly. In the case of the cover, it is not. This could be rectified by grinding off a portion of the latching, to extend the neck a little. A mm or so should be enough. I plan on doing this when I get some time.
I hope this explains it, despite my lack of knowledge of the correct terms for all the bits involved.

UPDATE:
The posts on the transleeve are millimeters from allowing proper attachment. On hinge of the transleeve are some rubbger spacers to hold the hinge away from the tablet. I removed those spacers and that provided just enough additional space for the hinge to latch into place. Hope that helps.
Please post a picture of your mods to help everyone understand what you've done...
There were already other threads on this, so no news here. I've been using it for two months now, but sporadically, it's ok, but I don't love it, the dock or neoprene sleeve is a better cover. Plus it leaves "stains".

?? I have 3 transleeves and all 3 of them fit the TF700 perfectly, no modding required. Sounds like you got unlucky.
My prime's origami case also doesn't fit well on my infinity. I mean it fits, but it is in no way secure. It doesn't latch at all and falls off with the slightest tug. Isn't there an official origami case for the infinity?

Thinking twice about buying the dock

I'm thinking twice about buying the dock. I know its amazing but I've heard reviews about the screen breaking because of the tablet being docked. Comments and thoughts will be highly appreciated.
Its fine. I would most certainly get it. Imo these issues are from a minority of people. I for one have had no issues. I have also owned the Prime for 6 months and had no problems with the keyboard damaging my screen. Just watch what your doing and you should be fine.
Sent from my ASUS Transformer Pad TF700T using xda app-developers app
I was hesitant when I bought mine for the exact same reason. But I believe those with the issues are in the minority or Asus would have a class action lawsuit against them. And I"m sure Asus has learned from its mistakes, as the issue appears to be far more common on the Prime than the TF300 and I've yet to see a single case of it on the TF700 that wasnt caused by something else (ex. a lose screw, falling damage). Gorilla Glass 2 is supposed to be more flexible than OG Gorilla Glass, so I'm sure that also helps things.
Just make sure to open from the center and not the sides to lessen the stress on the glass, and hopefully nobody will have issues.
i think people are picking up the tablet/dock using the corner of the screen.
I can see how the weight of the dock could flex the glass enough to crack if handled this way.
Thank you all for your thoughts, will consider it now more . Also should I worry with the screen lifting issue? Is not much on mine just on one corner. And sorry if I sound like a quality control freak jajaja.

As long as its not starting to come apart and loosen further you should be okay. I heard that these FHD screens are thicker then your Standard screens so I guess its normal. Definitely return it is it gets worse.

A square trade warranty makes this concern go away... the Dock is totally worth the risk even without the S.T.W.
I initially had the Transformer Prime with the dock, when I jumped ship to the Infinity I stayed with the same dock. It is working great with it, no need to force the dock, fits in perfectly. No scratches to the tablet either.
Sent from my ASUS Transformer Pad TF700T using xda premium
I put the tablet with the dock in a neoprene sleeve in my backpack. I took it with me on 5 airplanes, 2 busses and all around Berlin (walking around). It's been slung up and down off my shoulder and back shoved under the seat in front of me and pressed up agains a laptop and books, headphones, bottles, etc. So far (knock on wood!) it's been fine no cracks or anything.
I do plan on getting Squaretrade though.

I have one.
My sister traded me for the Targus fat tip stylus I was using.
I like the fat tip stylus better...I think it's more like a finger tip.
My sis says the fat tip works a lot better on her (shudder) iPad also.
This one is just great,

I use a stylus constantly. I was getting the rubber tipped ones of of eBay. Like 6 for 7 bucks. But, after a while, it seems they break down or something. Doesn't glide well at all after a few weeks. Amazon has a new kind out that has nylon micro fiber cloth instead of rubber. I ordered it. I'll give a review after i try it.

So who has been going naked?

I've had my TF700T for about 3 weeks. I had a screen protector put on it from new. Its already starting to show a few light scuffs and doesn't look so great when the screen is off.
I started in a similar way with my HTC One X. After a few weeks I took the screen protector off. Its been naked for a few months now and the glass is still perfect.
I would be interested to know from those of you who have gone naked or always been naked with your TF700T how your screen is doing.
Thanks.

I've had a naked screen from day 1, but I have a cover for tab and dock, so I think it's well protected, like a laptop would be.

I have gone without screen protectors on my last 4 devices: TF101, TF201, TF700, Galaxy Nexus.
It's such a better experience.
My Infinity has been naked from day 1, but this is mainly because I'm worried about a screen protector interfering with the fit into the dock.
For the 201 I had a leather case up until I got the dock, then I went naked with the dock. When I got the 700 I did not get a new case and use it naked most of the time. The 201 case fits it perfectly (had to cut one notch in the edge for the volume button, but otherwise fits like it was made for it, so I use it if I'm going to take it out on the road undocked but that's fairly infrequent.
I never use screen protectors. It feels like the screen becomes less responsive. And some of them blur the picture a bit.

I don't think I've ever used screen protectors for any electronic. I'm usually careful with them to not to drop them or otherwise scuff them.
Naked, but its usually stored with the dock, so I should say it's a beardless clam lol
Going naked since day 1. Though I do keep it in the dock, closed, when not using it. Also, for travel I have a sleeve.
The point of the Gorillaglass is that you can use it without the need for a screen protector...

Been naked since I got it, no issues whatsoever. Most likely because I've kept it docked nearly the entire time though, so the screens only exposed when I'm using it. Plus I'm extremely delicate with my electronics

No screen protector here and have had the dock since a couple days after I got the tablet. I have noticed recently that there is a wear line right where the bottom of the keyboard is when they are together and closed (where the dock case rises up from the keyboard). Normally the little rubber tabs will hold the two apart, but apparently there's been enough force on it in my bag to force them together and rub a slight line in the screen.
Beware of that when transporting your Inifinity and dock.
No protection and screen still perfect after 2 months of intense daily use
