I present my aroma-installer-script to simple cleanup your Rom, like FrankenRom, PiccoloRom, Stock-Rom and CM10-Rom.
With the script you can easily choose and uninstall a lot of unnecessary acer- and google-apps and install a adblocker host-file
to your device. Moreover there are some more tweaks, mods and optimizations, listed below.
Let us know what you are thinking about the script and what we can maybe change or add in the next version.

I’m not responsibile for any data-loss or damages to your hardware and software, but it’s tested by me on my acer iconia a510 with
FrankenRom, Stockrom, unofficial CM10 and a slightly changed version on my Samsung galaxy si9000 and i found no issues at all.
So be warned and read the complete thread and as usual make a nandroid backup, just to be safe!
The script includes the following optimization:
01. uninstall/delete acer stock apk's and google-apk’s
02. install useful System apk's
03. install some style apk's
04. set settings for apexlauncher and notificationtoggle
05. set one of six Bootanimation, like you want
06. set better Ad-Blocker, 20.000 ad-block-sites

- apexlauncher, fancy-widgets, pkwebcam-livewallpaper and hacker’s keyboard (for me the best keyboard)

set the settings for apexlauncher. To use it, you must go after reboot to the settings of apexlauncher, there chose
backup&restore and restore the settings. Now your homescreen will be optimized to use. Of course, you can find and
set your own settings as well, but I thought this is usefull for someone. Moreover the script will set the notificationtoggle
settings, that you can see in your statusbar. You must do the same, like for apex-settings, open the apk one time, go
to settings and restore the backup-file.

What is to do (installing)?
download the zip-folder to your device
reboot your device to cwm-recovery
chose “install zip from sdcard or external sd”, where you have saved the downloaded zip-file
choose the zip-file and install it, the script is starting
reboot system once the installation finished
if you want, do what is described in step 4 of "Points in detail"

What you get?
After install and reboot you get a cleared stock- or custom-rom without the acer- and google-apk-files, what will save memory
and ram-memory. So you can uninstall unused system apps, bloatware and apps you simply don't like and can't uninstall in
system or with any other app. Moreover you get some usefull system-apk’s, a new bootanimation, a better AdBlocker and some
other tweaks, if you want. The AdBlocker will save a little bit traffic, because its blocking the urls with the host-file. Also in Games
and a lot of apps, that are sponsored by ad's. You will see it! For Franken700-Rom you can change the default Icons and
Sounds to CM10-Icons & CM10-Sounds and you can set new default Wallpaper.

FAQ’s
New version is out! Can I install the new version or do I have to restore any cwm-backup?
--> No, you can simply install the new script. Applications you have already installed are don’t touched by the script and your personal appdata is saved.

Just to clarify: CM10 already is shipped without Google Apps, and my CM10 builds also already have ad-blocking hosts files.

Thanks and thanks for that information nothrills, i will edit this in my post.. but for stock-rom`s and optimized stock-rom`s it`s a really good feature..
In the next update are included some more google-apps and maybe more acer apps... Do you know if i can uninstall aceroobe.apk.. i already freeze the apk in system and i know that the apk run the install wizard for the first connection to computer, but is it really necessary??

i had created a aroma-installer-script, called minimalisticCleaner for FrankenRom by nothrills....
Easy uninstall over 50 unecessary apps and set a bootanimation that you like..:good:

I had optimize the script and it works with all Rom-version now ...:good:
So you can simply cleanup your Rom, like Stock-Rom, FrankenRom or CM10-Rom-version.
Uninstall the unused system-apps you don't like or need. More than 50 apps can be chosen.
I had tested the script with my Stock-Rom and FrankenRom and it works perfectly. Maybe on
CM10-Rom some apps will not be deleted, because i couldn't test it right now.
Please report to me, then i will fix it. Otherwise i will look into tomorrow.

I included the 4.2. AppMod and a new tweak-script for Franken700 and PiccoloRom.
Moreover i had decompiled the SystemUI.apk and changed the settings in the following two xml-files to get a circle-battery with working percentages.
So far it works very well, make sure you choose the current date and time in system-settings and the playstore will work.

Pls use PC sir. Default device browser might hv problem (happened to me when downloading zip) file from free hosting server. If u insist to download using your device, i recommend you to use xscope browser.

It does work. Download and open the .txt file and inside you will see the MultiUpload link.
easier ways. To do this but its done now. Never use my PC these days. DHD is all I need

I just installed it and it look awesome!!! Finally something different from other rom i really like it for now!
I can't tell you if there are some bug for the moment but it's very smooth.

Im not sure about other custom kernels but as long it is GB base I think should be compatible. No Personalize in settings as per attached. U can just extract the apk & copy to system app dir.

Hi mate. No Sense 3 based rom components. the stock sms is nothing much if compared to GO SMS PRO.

If you have issues accessing Sense Widgets, just clear HTC Sense data in app settings. Make sure you backup your Desktop in Titanium Backup, before you clear Sense data.

Looks good. Still wishing there was a T-Mobile based ROM that either doesn't include the 3-dot menu removal, or has a way to remove that mod. I know I'm in the minority here, but I like the multi-task button too much to have it remapped for the sake of a bit of screen real estate.
I will add a script in the tweaks section which gives you the 3dot menu back
But the majority doesn't want it, so it's removed from the beginning..

Yeah I know. I've tried it a few times, but keep returning to my stock-rooted nandroid. Just personal preference. I can wait until it's either an option in the settings, or until a ROM is available without the mod.

1. Download the theme you like
2. Install it like you do with normal apps
3. Before apply the theme go to Settings>Applications>Development>Stop app via long-press to ON
4. Open Theme Chooser and apply the theme
5. Press Home button to return on home screen (on this stage you have your theme applied without icons)
6. Keep pressed return key to restart the Launcher
7. You're done

For everyone who wants to use MIUI Lockscreens:
1. go to PlayStore and install MiLocker, also you can find Magic Locker with these lockscreens and support xavierjohn22 for his work, has more options and i believe is more stable (the reason i dont use: install one app for every lockscreen that you download, if you are not a lockscreen fanatic USE this one)
2. after install press Home button and choose MiLocker as default home, like you do when you have multiple launchers
3. visit the thread dedicated to MIUI Lockscreens HERE
3. download your favorite lockscreen and place it in sdcard/MIUI/THEME (create the folders if you dont have it)
4. open MiLocker app choose one of the downloaded lockscreen and apply.
NOTE:
- lockscreens which has music control and weather should work just fine;
- for weather to be display on the lockscreen read the information provided on the lockscreen thread, some of them requires 9s Weather Advance or others aditional app or widgets from the market

Hi,
chinese characters are only few on the keyboard (will be replaced soon with other keyboard) and in Settings>System>Notification Settings try to translate it in future release. If you already tried LewaOS and JoyOS you have to test it and found out.

cm7 themes with Theme Chooser is compatible!
you have to restart the launcher after you apply one theme for the theme to be completed applied, the only part that it doesnt apply are icons.
I'll be add soon in the OP some themes directly from MFUNZ forum.

sorry.it takes abnormally takes so long to flash the rom. and when i reboot it stucks at joker logo and when i pull the battery and go to the recovery it always says me something about recovery.log and not enough space in system or sth like that!!! what should i do??

That's strange, because i flash this rom a couple of times before post it here. You have this issue with stock hboot? Also did you make a full wipe(system, data, dalvik cache...)?

Yes, importing contacts from google account is ok.
For titanium backup i have no ideea, i dont use this app, not either on miui i havent use it; will make some test on this or maybe some others will report if is working or not.
And finally, yes you have PlayStore.

yes,and now i resolved it! i've reflashed stock hboot and change the recovery to 4ext. and it solved the problem.thanks anyway.
I would love to try this rom on CM7 r2 hboot. It shouldn't be too hard to port it, let me try myself

Glad you manage to solve your problem. About recovery i havent said that is working only with RMD Recovery, this is what i use.
Others can also report their working setup but in PM, let's leave this thread pretty clean. Thanks for understanding!

How to install (for all models):
1) Download the ROM
2) Copy the ZIP to MicroSD
3) Reboot in CWM
4) Make a Full Wipe (factory reset, mounts & storage > format /system, advanced > wipe Dalvik cache)
5) Mount /data and /system in mounts & storage (only for be sure)
6) Choose zip from sdcard, install zip from sdcard, choose the ZIP you downloaded
7) Wait then fix permissions
8) Reboot
9) Wait boot (can be long) and Enjoy!!!

wifi and bluetooth is the only problem i've got ( on my try to port it )

Turn phone off and turn it back on. Wait 30 seconds after it boots up so everything can work as its perspective and it shouldn't give off buggy results.

I got force closed for proces updater and phone dial
and camera is flickering

I found a, bug with Wireless Hotspot. When trying to share my internet connection, a error message appears stating : error.

Go to CWM, do factory reset, Install ROM ( click default in AROMA, wipe data and reboot. Don't forget to tick fix permissions in aroma
