[Q] Incorrect Battery Level - NEOCM 10 " LEON " - General Questions and Answers

Hi,
I am using Arnova 7B G3 Tablet. I just flashed it with NEOCM 10 " LEON " ROM ( Jelly Bean ) .
But I am Having Problem With The Battery Level.
It remains the same level as it was when you switched on the Tab.
Even when the external charge indeicator LED shows 100% , the Tab shows battery level when i Switched on the phone.
Can Any one Help??

If you go to System settings -> Battery, does it show the correct %? Does the graph correctly show that the battery charge level is going down (or up, if charging)?

It shows a perfect horizontal line in the battery graph.
The battery % is also the same. I didn't Tell about the battery status bar icon. The whole info related to battery is wrong.
I tried calibrating and tried using widgets. But all of them seems to be gathering battery data from the ROM Not directly from the hardware.
Will this be caused if the kernel was faulty. ???
Can I use the original kernel of the device along with the new ROM ???
Please Help....
I would also like to know about modifying the rom ( If It's Possible ) To remove the errors related to battery Status..
Here's the link to the original post By the developer of the ROM

Did the battery status work correctly before you flashed the LEON ROM?

Before LEON ROM , I was using another Custom ROM ( ICS - Rooted and with google play ) . It showed correct battery status and the stock ROM also worked perfectly.

Then the problem's in your new ROM or kernel. If you can, flash another compatible kernel. Otherwise, you have to change ROMs or live with it.

thank you dude

u can also download an app named battery callibration for dat!!

[Q] Nexus S (Tmobile) 4.0.4 + Air Battery Life

I made a short video showing what has gone on for the last 2 hours.
The phone is not used. In Airplane mode. 10% battery life drop after 2 hours.
I updated by doing a factory restore n CWM then flashed 4.0.3, then applied 4.0.4 update then installed the root user file, then installed the AIR kernel. Removed the stock recovery install script. Installed touch recovery. Afterwards charged the phone to 100%. Powered the phone off and left it charging until the charging symbol showed that it is done. Booted to the recovery reset battery stats and powered on the device. And pretty much left it alone, checking the time once in a while.

Backup all your data...and reflash the ROM...and calibrate the battery as soon as you flash the ROM...if it still shows the same error (which it hopefully won't) that means the file that is deleted by the 'battery calibration' app isn't present in the ROM by default (which is weird I guess)....

Greetings and welcome to assist. The first thing I would do is change my charger/lead. Playing games can drain the battery quicker than the phone can charge, upgrading your charger might help or using a custom kernel to increase the charging current(this one is dangerous if you don't know what you are doing)
Good Luck

Battery dying at 30% after installing custom ROM, already tried calibration methods

hey guys! my phone keeps dying when I'm using it at 30% of battery... was working fine with the original firmware... I tried to "calibrate" the battery, leting reach 0% just with the screen on (took hours from 20 to 0), and then charging to 100%.. I did 2 or 3 times... is not working. could change the kernel solve my problem? already tried an calibration app (the most popular in the play store). My phone is Moto Maxx XT1225. I love the custom ROM (lineage os unofficial 15.1 - oreo 8.1). everything works fine, and I don't wanna come back to android 6...
I tried manually deleting the batterystats.bin, still not working. please help! thank you!
