Hi, I'm running and HTC one v rooted. I recently flashed the paranoid android ROM(cm10) and it uninstalled all my HTC music stuff and added DSP manager and left me with you music player. My biggest problem is now my music sounds really crappy. There's absolutely no bass whatsoever! I tried installing the HTC beats installer(to get back to my regular htcbeats sound which was phenomenal) I was wondering if there's any way to restore my audio drivers and htcmusic stuff without restoring my phone.

I'm having an issue with sound on my desire s. The sound just stops working after a small amount of time. There comes no sound from the speaker or headphones. No ringing also. The only thing working is call sound.
I have always to reboot the whole device to get sound working. This issue returns with every ROM I've used. Also it seems that Android versions aren't affecting it as well. Is there any solution to this problem?

The interesting part is, that even when no sound is coming from that speaker, if I get a call and turn on the speaker for that call it's working.

I can't seem to find the link anymore... but used to be a unified AOKP and CM port that works on ALL ROMS... it was called Awesome Beats V3.zip on xda made by ...Awesome... you might wanna search for it

It depends on the earplugs u r using I guess and I like beats audio cause it also works with power amp when enabled and the bass produced is massive without bursting the earplugs !

I find that DSP manager has the best sound. The only thing is that it does not work with PowerAMP. Try to look in XDA's Android Apps section. I think I see the Beats for AOSP there.

Hey guys I have ibeats by Dr dre and music enhancer kicks in when using any headphones but is there a way to enable enhancer without headphones plugged in , for speaker out , on stock non rooted / rooted device ? , there was a Rom on my previous phone HTC incredible s which had beats audio enhancer even for speaker out , thanks

No, the stock ROM specifically has this flag to avoid "damaging" the speaker with the lower frequency bass enhancement provided by Beats, apparently.
Does dsp manager work on the one s? It's better than the beats preset and works with and without a connected device

Can't confirm, although its available on AOSP CM10 builds I believe, check the thread...DSP manager is de-odexed (I stand corrected) and will probably NOT work on Sense Based ROMs, it is only available for AOSP builds (CM)
It worked on sense roms for the amaze and g2....
