I have rooted, on stock ROM. No clock work or nandroid
Please and thank you guys.
Also please tell me how to re-install

my calendar kept force closing on me, so I had the bright idea of uninstalling thru titanium backup. I thought by uninstalling, and then restoring my older backup, that I could fix my problem. I was wrong, In doing so, it also deleted the backup file for my calender app. So I got nothing... Any help and guidance would be greatly appreciated. I am rooted and running infused v1.5. Before I installed the rom thru cwm, I made a backup of the stock rom, if that would help.
Thanks!
Edit: I don't really know why our how this worked... I installed an android calendar apk I found by googling. It was a piece of junk, so I uninstalled it, and voila my original calender app appeared!!!

You could try downloading the Infused rom, extracting it(it's a zip file so use whatever you want to extract it) then copy the calendar.apk from system/app to /system/app on your phone.
Hey folks,
today I decied to move back from CyanogenMod to Stock rom.
So I backed everything up and installed the PreRooted Stock ROM.
Now, the phone wants to download and install every app I ever downloaded.
But I wanted to decide for myself wich Apps I want to install and wich not.
Is there any way of preventing this behaviour?
Thank you,
horst2k.

Thats the solution. I thought, this option will backup my data in the future. Thanks a lot!
You can change the settings in settings - privacy. You can check backup this device, will work for new rom installed, just un tick restore. Before you add google account.
Alternately just don't enter google account, simply install titanium backup (save the apk or you'll find that some custom ROM s have it pre installed just for this reason) and use that to restore your titanium backup of ask your apps.
Swyped from my Desire S using XDA Premium
Hmn, for me it doesn't work to untick the box, it also download all the apps. Really annoying especially when on data connection as I use all my "fast" mb's
I cancel them as fast as I can^^
When setting up new ROM don't switch on mobile data

Can confirm that disabling the backup on the initial setup is not always working (noticed on several ROMs so far)
My phone is rooted and I have superuser access but I can't figure out how to delete the default email app. It currently continually returns error "stopped unexpectedly" and I can't delete any of the accounts since they are configured inside the email application. I just want to dump it completely and go with something else. My apologies in advance if I overlooked a thread but search didn't seem to return the process for nuking the default email app.
Thanks for any help you can offer.
Try Titanium backup it has the ability to remove system apps. try to wipe data first and open it again or you may freeze it if u don't like it..
Give some info of your phone so that we can help for further problem you have.
Make a nandroid backup and then remove email.apk from /system/app using root explorer or an equivalent (you can also use Aroma file manager through the recovery).

Hey guys,
I've recently changed my rom to slimkat and I had some important notes that i stashed in my google keep. Luckily i have a backup of the app and data on my titanium from when i used to run that version of google keep on beanstalk.
I've tried restoring the app on my current slimkat rom, but it wont let me. Whats the easiest way for me to retrieve those notes?
Cheers
Mubs
google keep notes are backed up with your google account, you dont need to backup the data using titanium backup.
log in to https://drive.google.com/keep/ and sign in with your google account. does the notes appear? if not then you will need to set auto sync on your phone and make sure keep is synced.

Google keep should be synced across your devices.. ? Check https://keep.google.com/
If your notes are there then they've been synced and syncing to your new rom should be fine. If they're not there then either you didn't sync it and now would need to restore the app's data rather than the whole app.
Thanks for the replys.
I've tried that and my old notes don't appear. Maybe I didn't sync them using Google before.
Whats my next option? Ive also gone and installed keep off play store. Now that I try to uninstall it using titanium it says failed to uninstall apk file. Come to think of it, its doing the same thing for all the system apps.
If you really need those notes, you may have to reinstall your old ROM, restore the data and sync properly. And restoring system data between different ROMs is often a bad idea.
I managed to sort it.
I installed a fresh copy of keep but had the data transfered over from titanium backup.
I still have the problem where I can't delete system apps though. Can anybody advise on this?
Cheers
Hi guys!
I did a little mistake today, I was in titanium Backup and deleted something related to the calendar. The only problem is that I didn't back the file up (I actually thought I was deleted the stock calendar app). Now my google calendar won't work because it is saying that the calendar storage is not turned on. Could anyone make a backup of his file and send it to me please? I would love to get my calendar working again.
Thanks a lot guys!
Edit: I think the file that you guys need to send me is the one just under the stock calendar app (I think). Thanks a lot again!

I've attached a TitaniumBackup copy of why I believe you're looking for. You didn't specify what firmware you're on but this is from C185B320, may or may not work for you but worth a try I'm sure. Extract the 3 files from the zip into Titanium's backup directory (default is sdcard/titaniumbackup/) and try restore with that.
Fyi, in future you may rather want to freeze apps before uninstalling them to test how it behaves before you take the plunge of uninstalling
