Hi guys!
I want to help a friend of mine to debrand her I5800. Searching in the forum left me confused and I'm not sure about it. The phone is hungarian branded with T-Mobile. Is it enough to flash a stock rom or do I have to unlock with http://samfirmware.com/ ? Sorry for the newbie question, but some answers what to do and use to debrand would help a lot!
Cheers

Just flash any custom rom here in the development subforum.
if you mean you want to use a different network on it then search for 'how to unlock GT i5800' and it should come up

Ok, Yes i am a noob to this forum
My serious question is.....which firmware region do i get so that my phone will work properly and start in English for Australia? I have unlocked my phone myself, and i have flashed it many times with different firmware already so getting the region code from it is hopeless? All i need to know where to get and which firmware to use on my old S5570 Galaxy Mini to work and start in English in Australia.
Thank you.
Any help with this would be great as i want to run stock firmware but only for my region (Australia) and to only start in English instead of having to change it when i restore it etc..
Hello? Bump? Anyone? Surely someone can tell what stock rom i need for my region?

This has nothing to do with this thread? you need to go ask in your devices forum and not high-jack other threads

Hello everyone! I have two issues with my phone :
First I'm bound to one network carrier (orange) and i thought flashing a mod on would allow me to bypass that simlock thing
But secondly i can't find any compatible rom for my phone...
I'm running jelly bean 4.2.2
If there is one can you guys tell me which it is
And I'd like to know also if there was any way to remove the simlock
Thanks in advance for your answers (sorry for the bad English)

You're asking in the wrong place this thread is for the Verizon SM-N920V! If you need help with the SM-N920F you should ask in that thread. You can't flash anything other than SM-N920F anyway. All you need to do is a search in Android File Host for SM-N920F and it'll give you all you need. And don't just blindly flash things search about the firmware in question before flashing anything!
