How to Root Samsung Galaxy S 2 i9100
With the launch of Samsung Galaxy S II which is also known as Samsung Galaxy S2 GT I9100, the firmware updates have started pouring in and the same we have covered it. If you just missed the last firmware update for Samsung Galaxy S2 then we saw on how to update Galaxy S2 with the latest firmware XWKDD. Now, taking the Android experience to a whole new level, you will have to root your phone so as to open up Galaxy S 2 for new possibilities. Do, note that though rooting the device will void the warranty but un rooting the device will bring back the warranty. Also, we will be covering two different procedures under which you will be rooting the Galaxy S2 but it’s recommended to follow each and every single instruction carefully and if not followed the instructions carefully you may even brick your phone after that you can only use the same as an expensive paper weight.

I have rooted my SGS2 and it worked fine.
Hey, I have a Rogers Samsung Galaxy S2 LTE (SGH-I727R), and i recently rooted my phone and got CWM. Now i want to get the new Jelly Bean ROM that a lot of people had put out, but i realized that they were all for the Galaxy S2 or S3, none for the S2 LTE. So i was wondering if any do exist for my type of phone? Or if the Galaxy S2 versions could work for my phone?
Thank you in advance!
Bump, still need help please
You will get burned at the stake around here for asking without reading/searching my friend. Take a look in the skyrocket section but do your homework or you could hose your phone.

I bought the galaxy grand quattro in 2013 and i will try to root my mobile. I was read the rooting procedure of galaxy grand quattro gt i8552. My doubt is one of the disadvantage is warranty is not claimed after rooting the mobile but i think warranty is applicale one year from the date of purchase whether my view is correct? And after rooting was completed if there is any problem in device the service centre will resolve my problem in my rooted device?
Hi
Thanks for writing to us at XDA Assist. Your warranty would have expired by now, so no need to worry about that. A service centre should still be able to work on the device, but you'd need to ask them to confirm that.
Thanks
Thanks for ur reply
