p.s. im not related to this mod developing just wanted to share working mod for those who wanted to enable init.d support without need of big knowledge on doing it.

I saw it long ago but couldn't find any init.d scripts for our note.
Boot Zipalign was good but later I thought all apks are already zipalligned.

Nope...certain apps in the market are not zipaligned yet...
For scripts, try V6 supercharger, Thunderbolt, Adrenaline Engine, Pimp my ROM, Supremancy script, smurfed out script and so on...just search about it..they are all universal scripts...

Hi, excuse me. I own N7100 did install init.d prior/before PIMP MY ROM it works well:victory:, also i run SuperCharger by zeppelinrox using V6_SuperCharger_for_Android-Update9_RC10.sh.pdf and busybox v1.19.4 by wraithdu(CWM flashable.zip) works good.:victory:

It works well ! I have installed supercharger but i'm still at 50% i can't get the second 50%.

Works for me: I'm using it to mount my ext4-formatted external microSD, the script runs early enough that the MTP application and the media scanner work seamlessly.

Anyone tried Cronmod a2sd scripts using init.d support? I am not rooted and this would be the main reason for me to root my N2.

You will require Busybox 1.18.2 OR LOWER....
You can downgrade or upgrade BusyBox using the "BusyBox Installer" app from Market.....
I tried downgrading this morning but it wasn't successful..my phone froze and suddenly after rebooting, everything got erased..can someone do a very detailed tutorial on how to downgrade busybox? by the way, the cm7's busybox here came with 1.9..

Ok I know this is probably a noob question. I apologize.
It's this a kernel? If not how does it work with a kernel like glitch, And ics?
I guess I need a little more info on how it works.

It's not a kernel but these are actually scripts which run when you start up your phone, and contain some code / commands which help your phone perform better. They need a kernel which is compatible with these scripts or is able to run these at startup. The kernel creates a folder called init.d, these scripts when you flash get copied to this folder and are executed at startup.
If you have used Semaphore kernel in any of the GB roms, you may have used the semaphore kernel settings, those settings did the same thing, they used to execute the scripts at startup and make our phones more awesome.
This flashable scripts will do the same thing.

a lil bit suggestion from me: delete the run-parts, sysinit, and install-recovery.sh from. reason: the run-parts stuff might ruin busybox installation thus make the init.d won't work. the install-recovery.sh and sysinit is for activate init.d support but this method only work on white's kernel. all of custom kernel here already support init.d with a different method. white's kernel is using different method on init.d support. these file might conflicted and ruin the script execution at boot.

[MOD] Kernel Stock LJA + Auto enable support INIT.D

Kernel Stock LJA + Auto enable support INIT.D
What is this?
Update.zip (CWM to install)
It contains within it?
Kernel Stock LJA + Script (Auto Enable init.d support)
For that you can use this?
To enable the stock roms init.d (script run at boot mobile)
This research comes from DEV to Xda
I just assemble the update.zip to put it all together and in one step
I want to share here, for people who use stock roms and want a simple way to enable init.d support
