[Q] big incoming call screen - Verizon Samsung Galaxy S III

I love the just about everything on my S3 with the stock touchwiz. However the only thing I miss from my Nexus was the full screen caller picture . I know I can easily flash an AOKP ROM to get that , but I will loose all the other features I love . Is there any apps or suggestions you all could give me to get that working with touchwiz. I think most of the third party apps only work for incoming calls but once the call is connected it minimizes back to a little square. Thanks for all your help

[Q] Wrong LockScreen on incoming call

Good morning
Have now since yesterday a lot of messing around with the widget loose, very good app.
My problem is that in spite of the other lock screen during an incoming call the old CM7 (CM 7.0.2.1) LockScreen shows where I can take off now and then. (wiping the one with the rotating circle, from left to right).
How and where can I replace it?
Have another dialer on it, the moment I touch the TouchPal dialer. Is actually quite nice and good.

[Q] Phone.apk for High DPI - Help

Hello Community, this is my first time posting but I have used this site to answer all of my other android questions so I know this is the right place. I have spent three days now on this 'issue' and still I have found no resolve.
My Mother bought a MyTouch 3G Slide the other week and she has very poor vision. The best solution I found for her was to change the DPI on the phone to make EVERYTHING big. This seemed like a good solution except the Phone.apk / in call dial-pad is off the visible screen. I am not looking to fix the dialer there are numerous apps that will put that in the visible area, it is just that in call dial-pad, and since my Mother actually used a phone to make calls this is an issue to her.
The only way I can think of to fix this is to make a custom phone.apk for small screens, if anyone can help me do this, or has a better idea please share and THANKS in advance.
Technical Info: Default DPI=160; Custom DPI=220.
This make the 3.4inch diagonal screen into a virtual 2.6inch one.
Screen Shot of the Issue (Phone.apk does not work to show in-call dial-pad due to me trying alternative ones atm but dialer illustrates the issue.)

Please if anyone has any idea I would really like to get this done as soon as possible.
Ok by accident today I fount a possible alternative. When the phone dialer is displayed even though it is out of proportion when I click on the area where numbers being dialed are displayed a soft keyboard with 0-9 is displayed.
However the Phone is a myTouch Slide, with a physical keyboard so holding the menu button will not bring up a soft keyboard. Is there a way to bring one up in calls even though a phone has a physical one? Also the physical keyboard is not a option for my mom when she would be in a call with someone and need to dial a button.

[Q] Samsung Infuse Call, SMS notification light issue

Hello Everyone,
I have Samsung infuse installed with CM10 JB 4.1.1 v. 8/23/12 ROM which is working good, I get fare battery life of 1.5 days with normal use.
But I am not getting any notification on screen when I get any call or SMS, I get ringtone alert but screen is blank.
Please let me know if all are facing this issue with Call or SMS notification light. Also tell me if there is any FIX available for this.
Thanks in Advance .
There is no notification light for the Infuse, and none of the ICS or JB ROMs have the built in "screen light up upon notification" ability that Gingerbread had. I believe this is because the post-Gingerbread ROMs for Infuse are built upon code for phones with notification lights.
But, your screen should still be lighting up when you receive a call. Mine certainly does. You might want to try a re-flash.

Hi Lukas, Thanks for reply. I did re flash but I m still not getting lighting up screen notification when I receive any SMS.
Actually is it possible for Dev team to glow up Menu, Home, Back and Search button lights up or blink when we miss any call or SMS ?
That will be really great, what you say

The screen won't light up for SMS outside of Gingerbread ROMs. As I said previously, I think this is because the ICS and JB ROMs that are built for the Infuse are being built off of code for phones which have notification lights. Phones with notification lights also don't light up the screen for SMS...they just light up the LED notification light.
I too wish that the screen would light up when I receive an SMS, as I'm completely deaf in one ear and don't always hear the notification sound. I've suggested it on at least one ICS ROM, but that suggestion never came to fruition.
I think it's just one of those things that most people don't care for. I enjoy the added functionality of JB, so I've just learned to live without it.
If it's a deal breaker for you, there are still some really awesome Gingerbread ROMs that you can flash that will still have the native SMS notification screen light up. Or, perhaps you can go into the Development subforum for whichever ROM you're running, and ask the developer if there is any way to add this functionality back into post-GB ROMs
Use GoSMS it has the features that you're looking for and it's FREE.

[Q] Question regarding Mohan's Embryo 7 rom

I have to admit that I love this rom. It's very smooth and has the smart stay function that I had wanted. There are some minor things that I want to know if they are only my problems.
1. Whenever a call ends, the call-end screen stays for a good 5 seconds instead of returning to either my phone screen or home screen immediately and then the screen turns dark. Is that a bug or just about this rom? I don't mind the 5 seconds delay but why would the screen go dark afterwards?
2. When I use my number pad during a phone call to enter numbers (say when calling using a prepaid card with pins), the numbers won't auto shrink to fit the screen. So I end up losing track of what I have actually entered. Is there a fix for that?
3. The JB radios are bad compared to the ICS ones, is there any way to flash any of the ICS radio in a JB rom?

Incoming Call Screen problems

Hi all,
I am using a Moto G4 on android 7.0. I personally find the default android swipe from the centre to answer icon un-intuitive and difficult for answering the phone from the lock screen . I would much rather have an accept / decline button . I have tried a few of the incoming call screen apps which feature accept/decline buttons but am finding that in all cases ( so far) the decline button works but the accept button does not - it is odd that this is applying across multiple apps and suggests that it is soething within the OS that is causing the issue . Has anyone else noticed this or found a resolution ?
Slight off the topic but there is of course an accept / decline option ( a headsup I think ?) if the phone is already unlocked but I find it too insignificant to always notice and in any case results in a totally inconsistent experience when answering calls (one way from the lock screen - a different way otherwise ). I understand the headsup is so as to not take over the phone if somebody is otherwise engaged but for me the primary purpose of the phone is to be a phone i.e make and receive calls , then perhaps SMS and only then other apps.
