I've come to realize that flash-based media is not supported by adobe while on jellybean. I came across a post somewhere on the boards which had me install a specific adobe flash player 11.1 apk, but still the video/browser (dolphin) crashes.
Will there be any development or integration of flash player in any jellybean+ ROMs? Its sad to see that android once had the flash advantage over the iPhone and now adobe isn't supporting us anymore!

I've found that using xScope browser works. When starting, it will take you to xda for download if flash player. I've backed it up using TiBU and just restored after every wipe.

Just search "flash for jellybean" or "jellybean flash player" on the play store...there are apps that download the appropriate flash version...
No they won't be integrated on any jb build as devas can face legal problems due to not having permission from adobe to include them in their ROMs...just like Google threatened to sue cyanogenmod for including gapps a while back, because of that we now have separate gapps to flash on top of cyanogenmod and other aosp roms

HEY GUYS,
Earlier i came up with the surprise for ARMv6 & ARMv7 android phone owners with the Flash Player 10.1 which was a modded app to support low end devices, but the app was such a crappy one that it worked very much laggy for us and sometime users were unable to watch youtube videos
but now i have founded the best version out of all the flash players
which is 10.2 , (there is also a latest version modded i.e 10.3 but its not better then 10.2). this app comes with many improvements and comes up with more device compatibility
The new version of flash player comes packed in with some set of improvements like :-
Better app compatibly
Now support more armv6 devices
Comes in with Hardware Acceleration
More smoother Experience while browsing the internet
YouTube now works Flawlessly
Richer graphics and more FPS in animations
A lot faster the version of flash then 10.1
Now support Playing small games which do not overload processors
DOWNLOAD FLASH PLAYER 10.2.157.340
Download Flash player 10.1
INSTALLATION INSTRUCTION-
DOWNLOAD THE APP BELOW AND SAVE IT TO YOUR SD CARD
NOW MAKE SURE YOU HAVE 'UNKNOWN SOURCES' ENABLED IN YOUR SETTINGS > APPLICATIONS
NOW OPEN ANY FILE MANGER LIKE ASTRO AND NAVIGATE TO THE APK FILE WHEREVER YOU STORED IT
JUST OPEN THE FILE AND CLICK INSTALL
NOW REBOOT THE PHONES ONCE INSTALLATION COMPLETE
( IT WON'T WORK IN OPERA MINI)
to get the best results try it on diffrent browsers
you can also download flash player 10.1 in case 10.2 does not works for you - DOWNLOAD FLASH PLAYER 10.1
Hmmm, about to try this on my old MyTouch3G....
EDIT: Hey it works! Youtube works just like youtube on the desktop. Video was a little choppy and took a few seconds to load but it did!
Games on Miniclip work too. Sweet! This old ass phone has learned some new tricks!
Working on HTC aria, rooted, cm7.1. Thanks alot!

Have you tried this one
Samsung Galaxy mini 2 | CM 10.1
I tried Flash 10.1, 10.2, 10.3 and nothing. Did someone manage to get it work on S6500? (I'm using the jenad version so maybe it's S6500D).
Thanks in advance!
PS.: I want the official Twitch app to work. Now I only get sound but no video.
Hi

Adobe Flash Player 11 was OFFICIALLY dropped by Google and will no longer function on ICS and JB due to the fact Google is moving to HTML5. Only Gingerbread users are able to download the app.
Don't never ever install Adobe Flash Player on ICS phones and up.

I thought that it was because the legal confrontation between Apple and Google. Apple reached an agreement with Adobe, leaving Google with no flash player...
At least that's what i heard :S
cheers
EDIT: well, I meant that Adobe stopped updating it's flash player for Android for that reason.

No.. its just that, Adobe found flash player useless with the coming of HTML5.. With advanced tech.. flash player was no longer required..
Edit -- 2013/02/13 -- Adobe Flash Player is now disconnected from Play/Market, so side-loading is required. Official Adobe site for APKs (and other platforms) is http://helpx.adobe.com/flash-player/kb/archived-flash-player-versions.html
Original post:
I read the CERT information on updating Adobe Flash, but it isn't showing up in Google Play for me under CM9. Force attach to market in TiB didn't seem to work for me either. Running on CM9 it is not part of the ROM.
Users of Adobe Flash Player 11.1.111.19 and earlier versions for Android 3.x and earlier versions should update to Flash Player 11.1.111.24.

Has anyone found a way to get the current apk installed?
Edit -- Adobe Flash can be found in Play on your list of "Installed Apps" likely near the bottom -- thanks to stoneduser8907 for this! (No longer the case)
Since its for 3.x and earlier versions of android isn't cm9 4.04 so that may be why. Don't know a whole lot in the dev area but read through and that would make since to me as to why it wouldn't be there.

It's still not clear to me why it isn't/wasn't showing up in Play, but there are several threads on XDA with the apk available. Since it isn't from Adobe, I can't vouch for the source, but I installed the apk from http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1978148
To be honest with you I haven't seen Flash Player in Play for awhile. I had been going between mtd and bml roms and kept downloading apps fresh and I've been having to Google the apk to install it while on ICS.

When having to search for it to install on cm9....i read that its nolonger being supported for 4.x.x
So you wont find it in the market. I did find that if you go directly to their site you can dl it though
I know that they weren't offering Flash if you didn't already have it installed, but I was under the perception that it would still upgrade.

Jeff on mine if you go into play store hit my apps. It should load page with your installed apps I go to tab to right of it called ALL and that's only way I've found to show it on play store to where you could update. That particular tab shows all the apps you've downloaded and installed in the past.

New security-related update to Flash available. Adobe is now disconnected from Paly/Market, so side-loading is required.

From CERT:
Adobe Releases Security Update for Adobe Flash Player
added Wednesday, February 13, 2013 at 4:05 pm
Adobe has released a security update for Adobe Flash Player to address multiple vulnerabilities. Exploitation of these vulnerabilities may allow an attacker to cause a denial-of-service condition or take control of the affected systems.
Adobe has released updates for the following versions:
Adobe Flash Player 11.5.502.149 and earlier versions for Windows and Macintosh
Adobe Flash player 11.2.202.262 and earlier versions for Linux
Adobe Flash player 11.1.115.37 and earlier versions for Android 4.x devices
Adobe Flash player 11.1.111.32 and earlier versions for Android 3.x devices
Adobe AIR 3.5.0.1060 and earlier versions
Adobe AIR 3.5.0.1060 SDK (including AIR for iOS) and earlier versions
US-CERT encourages users and administrators to review Adobe Security Bulletin APSB13-05 and apply any necessary updates to help mitigate the risk.
Does anybody know where I can get the latest adobe flash for my gs3 running Aokp m1??I looked around, but couldn't find anything.

I had to flash a ROM that supported it. Download it from the market. Save with titanium backup. Then just restore it on any ROM of your choice

There's a thread on installing flash for jelly bean. I still couldn't figure it out. Easiest solution for me was getting Puffin browser (freaken NFL only streams audio in flash through Audio Pass). Puffin Free gives you a 14-day trial with Flash support. Full version has it supported.

See, this is why Android is great. Adobe stops supporting it.. Doesn't matter at all.
I have just bought a new Galaxy Tab 2 and was under the impression that it supported the adobe flash player but when I have tried to watch online movies it tells me that my device doesnt support these? can anyone help and advice me on how I can install the flash player or how I can get around it to be able to stream films online?
Thanks
On google now do a search for adobe flashplayer you will find a list of downloads based on version of android you have download the latest for 4.0 and above that would be any device running on jb ..GL !! Make sure you are on Adobes Official site there's also a video by a guy named lucidmike on YouTube he explains the process

Well you can install Flash but the is a reason for the lack of support. It is said that it is unstable, unsupported and drain a lot of battery. Even adobe dropped the app from Google Play.
No go to google now and type in adobe flashplayer archives it has a full list including flashplayer for galaxy tab
