I was debating on a Galaxy S3 but ended up getting a RAZR Maxx HD yesterday. I did a factory reset and did a battery calibration. Here is my stats so far coming from a 100% charge. I did two resets because the phone was getting kind of warm. I like the phone otherwise. Do you think I a defective unit and need an exchange or should I just go with the S3?

1x as far as signal? Given the fact that you factory reset twice after 100% and used the screen a lot during that time theres alot of factors in there.Id say charge it to 100, and just see how that goes for you without reset or anything else.

I have run into this multiple times but only when I listen to music. I can have it fully charged at 8:00 in the morning and then 9:00 its dropped almost 50 percent. I looked up how much battery the music player is using and its under 1%. I never had this issue with Froyo...LG should not of rushed out the GB update like that without figuring out bugs like that

As mentioned, juice defender does have a setting to increase your screen brightness. Also, just in case you have one of those anti-glare screen protectors, they make the phone really dim too in sunlight
Thanks guys!

Christ, you guys are getting better upload speeds than I do down lol. 4g sucks in my area I guess. NH :-/
I get pretty consistent at 10Mbit+ here in Ann Arbor. We've had LTE lit up for well over a year now, so the market is pretty saturated with LTE phones.
When I first got my (lol)Charge, I would routinely pull 22Mbit+.

Tested in the middle of Brooklyn, NY
BTW IME these test use a lot of data, I never opened the speedtest app before I tested this and after I ran just one test I went into usage and check the usage for just this app and it was almost 20MB - just for 1 test!
Is anyone else's camera look like it's loading and then stays on the home screen. Mine does this very frequently but then when I reboot it works for like a few hours and then repeats the issue

using the stock. I would root but I'm not 100 percent about the boot locker unlocking. If it wasn't locked I would have rooted already.

I agree to try a factory reset. I see from another thread that you're also having issues with Youtube. Neither Youtube or the camera crashing are common/known issues. Try a factory reset, and if the phone is less than 30 days old, exchange it (for AT&T, or whatever the exchange period is if you are on another carrier). Not worth messing with it if you are still within 30 days, as it seems the phone may have some software or hardware defect.
I reset its not as bad as it was and my YouTube is working now

haha damnit. Well back in GB to me looked like a battery with a check mark. I thought it was battery saving or widget thing. I've never used the alarm on android until recently.
