so im really really new to all of this (especially since this is my first android phone) and i just got virusrom for my thunderbolt, and the flash player isnt working on it? any ideas on how to fix it????
fixed it
I had that problem. Use the app titanium back up to delete Adobe flash do a full restart and go to the market and download it again. You may have to restart again. Let me know if that works, it was awhile ago so there might have been a step I missed.
Yes!! It worked!! Flash is now working again. Thank you so much!!!

Hey all. Ive been trying to root my samsung infuse for the past several hours with no success. I followed this method http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-02NrvxDZYA&feature=channel_video_title. When I run superoneclick i receive the waiting for device message at step #7.
So because SuperOneClick did not work i tried other methods. I tried this root method from DooMLoRD: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1319653
can also be found here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=18615502
I copied the console text. Maybe it can help solve the problem. I've been looking to find a solution but have not found a fix, so I do apologize if its out there. Can you guys please offer some help. thank you
If you're running stock Froyo, SuperOneClick 1.9.1 will root it. Just make sure that you check the Debug mode box first.
Thanks. I tried it, but i still receive a waiting for device.
I.7 superoneclick will root it without fail....I use it EVERYTIME I go back to froyo

Am I missing something??? I tried superoneclick 1.7 and it still stopped responding and said waiting for device... ahhhhhhhhhh
I don't remember, since I haven't done this in a long while, but I believe you need to have the drivers installed first. Download samsung Kies. Then try it again.

Try another version of super one click. I used v2.2

I'm on cm10 alpha 4 and I have a strange problem. Whenever I try to install an app,the system crashes and it is rebooted.
Even if I am trying to download via playstore, it's not working and showing an error(492).
I've almost tried everything like a full clean install of the Rom and hadn't succeeded. Do anyone has any idea to help me??
This is really frustrating and I will really be thankful if anyone is able to help

have you flashed the GApps?
I'm on CM10.2 and it says that Superuser is granted to GK but when I press the small toggle key, the UI doesn't show up.

I'm on Carbon 4.3 cm 10.2 and wanted to try this, is there any risk? Can you install, give permissions, run, and the uninstall SuperSU and use the ROM based SU? Sorry I wasn't sure if I was understanding you correctly. Thank in advance.
I installed the superusersu and allowed it to update the binaries.and ran it as my regular superuser.at first I installed the superusersu then updated the binaries then uninstalled superusersu just to get game killer to work correctly.. I switched to the vanir rom and only installed superusersu and everything worked perfectly.there is no need to remove your roms superuser to install superusersu.but it will become a headache if you later delete superusersu by chain fire because you tend to lose root with cyanogenmod roms.I haven't tried carbon roms but I did think about it till I tried vanir! With vanir 4.3 its very stable and gave me 1762 mote of a score on quadrant then the cyanogenmods 4.3 rom.there was no need for a different kernel or other mods. On vanir I just downloaded the superusersu and installed it updating the binary as it requested using twrp.be sure to let any rom install the update on superusersu via cm or twrp! The non flashing way rarely works.sorry it took so long to get back with you..I've been with a sick family member who was in the hospital..
