Not hearing notifications at night - Thunderbolt General

I know this has to do with quiet time settings, but I can't find the settings. It's not under the sound settings. Anyone know where this is? It started last nite after I flashed the eternity Rom

Should be under sound... wait InfectedRom Eternity? I don't think that has quiet hours built-in...

It wasn't what I thought. Turned out it was just Facebook notifications I wasn't hearing had to go into cb settings to fix it

What is this screen...

And how do i keep it from coming up? It shows up randomly while plugged in and it goes to it everytime i hit the home button. Ive tried resetting all defaults on any launchers and any accuweather apps. The only way i can get rid of it is to either hit the back button all the way to the home screen or reset the phone

Ics has an option under settings. Display. Weather. To enable or disable this.

I think that is your dock screen. I had that problem with a powerskin battery. The phone thought it was in a dock. I replaced the powerskin and it went away.

Screen brightness

I often catch up on xda and other forums from my phone in bed before going to sleep. My wife complains about the light from my phone. I set the brightness to the lowest it can go but I feel that it can go even lower and still be perfectly fine.
Is there any way to set it even lower via an app or maybe a custom ROM that I haven't tried?
Thanks

Nevermind, figured it out. Found an app.

Yeah, I had the exact same issue and found an app called lux auto brightness. It works beautifully.

Mine went back two hours I'm guessing I have two apps causing havoc
Perhaps you had one app set it back and another set out forward.
In short no clue but you are not alone in time change woes.

I had to reboot mine for the time change to kick in.

I had the same thing - a reboot took care of it.

Suggestion for a "do not disturb app"

Does anyone have a reccomendation for an app that kind of simulates quiet hours in cyanogenmod? I miss that feature on new lovely N5 and I want to wait for CM to be stable before flashing.

I ended up using Tasker. There's a pretty good setup to import here: http://tasker.wikidot.com/sleepmode

Thanks I'll try that I hear good things about tasker

You can try silent hours. It gives you the option of setting the time and days you want the sound turned off.
I use battery Widget reborn. It has night mode/quiet time features and it's good for quick battery info at a glance

I use the Do not disturb Premium from Google Play very simple to use and plays well with the Nexus 5.
