I successfully ported the launcher for all ICS ROMS. Unsure about gingerbread, someone could give it a try and see how that works. Copy to system/app folder or just install as a user app , it doesn't make a difference.
Something that PoorCollegeGuy pointed out to me is that PaWill started this, even though I didn't know about it so thanks to PaWill for starting this,
this is my work but PaWill started this whole idea.
TO ADD WIDGETS, COPY TO SYSTEM/APP, CHANGE PERMISSIONS TO RW/R/R, then install again as usual, then press home, and Widgets will work.
DO NOT CONVERT TO SYSTEM APP, MANUALLY COPY IT TO SYSTEM/APP
CLEAR DATA IN SETTINGS.
SOLUTION FOR CONSTANT FC, FOUND BY JASSI32
If after reboot it constant FC
1. Go to system/app and install it from system/app
2. Then delete apk from system/app
3. Reboot
WORKS 100%

Becuase it isn't CM9 (ICS), it's CM7 (GB) with hard work of Squadzone.

Tried everything, I took it exactly from the galaxy s3, so I'm guessing that's a feature? Btw I don't have one so this was pretty hard.

For not installed with permissions of binding Widgets try installing as system. Or try fix permissions.

Everything seems to work on the TMobile GS2, except the widget error. Permissions are set, and the launcher won't open at all if changed to a system app.

I don't know, I'm running an LG nitro hd and everything works fine. Try changing permissions to rw- r-- r--
Or run fix permissions.

To set permissions, use a file explorer like ES file explorer and go to where the app is located (if set as a system app it should be in system/app then open properties, change the file permissions.

CM10 does not include the framework for Samsung touchwiz launcher, CM10 uses the CM launcher so, touchwiz launcher is not going to work there. I would recommend you use the Samsung stock JB ROM.
Oh... i see.. so there is no way to port the touchwiz launcher on cm10?

Well , anything can be done with enough time and money, but the question is why would you want to do that? The stock ROM with JB and touchwiz is more reliable and already exist.
So far, custom rom is better than the stock rom. I got so many free ram which can affect the performance. But i didn't found it on stock rom. So laggy and consumes a lot of ram. That's why i prefer custom rom. But however, i like the capabilities of touchwiz launcher, can create folder and use wallpaper on app drawer. Plus i can directly uninstall apps from app drawer.. so i think touchwiz launcher and cm10 could be a perfect combination (for me hehe)..

Thanks! i wish I could give it a try, 'cause after flashing this I got stuck on boot. First it was optimising apps, than started to launch and stuck there. I made a reboot and got stuck again, but on bootscreen this time.
Hopefully this one works, last one I tried, was unable to playback music

Keeps saying Unfortunately Download Music Info has stopped then FCs. How do I fix this?
Edit: found a fix. Have a new issue though. Installed on my RAZR M running CM10 4.1.2 based. Plays music fine but shows 3 of every song and only one of each 3 is playable. How do I fix this?

I'm on ICS and I was wondering if it was possible to install any Motorola JB launcher (Razr i/Atrix HD/Razr HD).
I want the new google search bar, BUT I don't want to update it to Jelly Bean because I will lose my HDMI settings and I can't lose them (I downgraded to ICS for that reason).
I try to install Homescreen.apk but it fails. Is there any way to do it? Please help me

Cause its got many features. Scroll to the right until ure in the interface tab. There u can tweak as youd like the notificatikns...

May be just one comment for the file replacement to avoid any problems if some folks just drop your modified apk in the apps folder. In the modded roms the file names might vary, e.g. in my case the file was named SecMyFiles2.apk due to changes made by the rom cooker I guess.

It very easy ... Download (CarHd Rom v15) open it via WinZip and Open System/app .
Then extract it to your Desktop and then put it on your internal oder ext. storage . Rootexplorer put it back to System/app and replace it. Done.
