Im currently using huawei honor official ics 4.0.3 rom. I accidently replaced my recovery.img file by root browser and now my phone wont boot. On boot, a message appears "recovery.img signature failed. Update ur recovery file." Ive tried replacing the recovery file with the pink screen method but the drives wont mount... i tried upgrading/downgrading my phone with many different stock roms but while updateing, it just goes half way and a message "update failed with a yellow triangle " appears... sorry for terrible english

well iv'e got the 4.4.4 update for my moto g, the update stopped in the middle and then at text screen on the phone it's said the package as an error or something i guess and asked should it install untrusted zip so i did it and my phone was up again only to power off and on every half a minute.
so i want to to text screen((when you press POWER+volume down botton ) and chose the clock work recovery and the phone went back to work again as before with the kit kat 4.4.2 with no power off.
but yet again the device asked me to update to 4.4.4 and i'm an idiot so i did again, before end i cancelled the root on my phone(cause i thought the update stuck because the device is rooted) and let the update install itself again i got the text screen saying there is an error but now it would not let me install the untrusted zip cause i dont have root privileges, i tried to flash the phone with CWR and it said: "mismatched partition size (recovery)" i guess cause i flashed before end with CWR.
so i flashed my device with the TWRP recovery and did wipe (or installed the untrusted zip again, i don't remember) and the device once again was up again.
i again did the 4.4.4 update(yep i'm a idiot i know) and again it stuck, so i again tried to wipe via TWRP and reset the device, before i reset twrp said there is no asked me if it should install the supersu and pressed yes even though i used to towelroot.
now my phone when i turning it on, now its stuck on the screen in the image attached and wont start, if i press POWER+volume button for a few a seconds on the stuck screen i can access the text screen so i tried to flash it again with CWR and TWRP but it says "mismatched partition size (recovery)".
so the device stuck on the screen in the image and i cant flash it with TWRP or CWR, so i tried the recovery option in the text screen but it only shots down the phone.
is there any other recovery besides TWRP or CWR that i can flash my phone with? is there any other way besides flashing it there is not any other alternatives to those two flashes?

And please use search. 'Mismatched partition size' has enough results to get you on your way. Flashing the stock rom from fastboot will probably be your solution, but have a look at similar problems that can be found on the forum.

downloaded twrp 3, was running 5.1.1 on my phone and rooted it. tried to flash a rom and got stuck in a bootloop, now I cant boot into twrp, or anything for that matter. All i can do is hold volume down and power and home and try to ODIN a new bootloader or such and it just fails. what do i do? but when I try to boot into TWRP it goes into a blueish screen with a White exclamation mark saying "An error has occurred while updating the device software. Use the Emergency recovery function in the smart switch PC software. I tried to do that but it didnt even recognize the device. At this point i dont care about the data, I just need a working device
Okay, so I attempted to unroot and flash the stock 5.0.2 software and I got a error on the download screen. It says SW REV. CHECK FAIL. DEVICE: 3. BINARY: 1.

Happened to me a lot of times in the past few days trying to get MM, for some weird reason flashing Unikernel always works for me (takes me to recovery screen after, then i select 'reboot now'), and all my data, apps etc are still there

Okay guys so now I need a ROM to flash using ODIN. I tried to download from sammobile but the speeds are too damn slow. What I tried to flash was this file " G920TUVU1AOCG_G920TTMB1AOCG_G920TUVU1AOCG_HOME.tar.md5 " and i got the error 3 to 1.
Download Samfirm from here, XDA itself.
Run samfirm, enter model as G920F and your region code.
It will download from Samsung servers, so high speed.
Now flash using Odin the downloaded file by putting the phone in download mode, (vol down+home+power on).
How did it happen?
Did you try to flash the VOD 6.0.1 and got stuck towards the end at hidden.IMG failing the process?
If yes, then its a two minute job. Just open the 6.0.1 tar archive and look for hidden.IMG extract it anywhere and rename it from "hidden.img" to "hidden.img.tar".
Note flash this hidden.img.tar as AP in download mode, your phone should boot.

it was bricked after i tried to install zenmotion (stuck in usb logo)
i tried to search how to resolve this problem
what i was done is tried to flash firmware
i tried 78 firmware and failed stuck on 54%
i tried 87 firmware and still same stuck on 54%
i tried to downgrade to 5.2.2.2 and failed because cant downgrade from android 5.0 bla bla bla i dont know what the meaning of the report
and i tried to write in command promt fastboot boot.img (i forgot this file from what firmware)
and now i can boot my phone BUT i cant go to bootloader/fastboot mode (by pressing power+volume up) when i press that button, i go to home screen
and every reboot my phone always go to recovery mode (picture android down and there "!"
so please help me to resolve this problem

i tried to insert firmware T00F-WW-3.24.40.87 in internal memory (i was rename it before, so my phone was detected there was an update)

Yesterday i unlocked my bootloader and i installed TWRP. Im on the beta version emui 5 and android 7.0. when i tried to install the SUuser somthing happend and my android system and emui files disappeared. The phone did not boot anymore. So i tried to enter bootloader and use HiSuit to factory reinstall the OS but i got an error message saying "this device is not supported".
Then i tried to download the stock firmware to my phone and placed it on the external sd card and tried to flash it with TWRP i'v got some error message saying some thing with "/data" atleast i'v got some success the system booted up but i'm missing a the emui keyboard and som of the factory apps and drivers.
I have also tried holding the power up button for 3sec but still an error message saing "Getting package info failed"
Please help me get my phone back

First, i have no ideea if this will work for you but this is what i done when my P8 Lite was f**ked up.
Download the rom what you want, a stock one, sure, and use Huawei Extractor to extract the cust.img system.img recovery.img and boot.img from update.app, after that flash through bootloader.
P.S. I'm saying again, i have no ideea if this will work for this phone but it should.
Or maybe you can try flashing only the recovery.img through bootloader,copy update.app in dload folder on SD Card and do a force update.
I hope this will help you,let me know :good:

make new a folder
name it dload
put update.app inside
copy the dload folder to ur SD
power off .
press 3 buttons ( volume+ and volume - and power 3~5 seconds . will start upgrading
ur phone will come back to life .

Hi,
I got some issues since this morning and I went through all the forum but can't find any solution.
I explain my issue :
I unlock the boot loader, than install TWRP-3.1.1-1-frd. Here everything is fine.
After that I wipe all my phone with TWRP (including internal storage...) and I tried to install OpenKirin's RROS v5.8.4 Rom. I got some error (something like unable to mount /curst and multiple error like this)
But here, I got my first issue, after reboot the phone wasn't going after the first honor logo (when I tried to turn off the phone it was restarting directly)
So I start my phone in fast boot mode and refresh the TWRP.
Now I go through the first honor blue loading and I get stuck on "Your device is booting now..." (if I try to go to TWRP) and if I try to run normally my phone, I get into a loop between this screen and honor blue loading... I cannot turn off totally the phone (it's always trying to reboot)
If somebody could help me it would be so nice from you !

I can't launch dload as it run into the screen "your device is booting now..." when I do the touch combination
I tried to flash the system boot curst and recovery from the latest official firmware (FRD-l09C432B403 I think) using the extractor Huawai and fast boot but nothing appears...
I'm totally lost at this point...
