No. If It's a square picture there's no reason to crop

It's square pictures but I'm always forced to crop when I go into my gallery and select set as wallpaper always makes me crop.

Tried dragging the corners out?

Try the Wallpaper Wizardrii app.

Picspeed wallpaper allows uncropped photos. You download the app install it. Now go to you gallery choose the picture and choose the option set as wallpaper, a box should come up with picspeed as an option, choose that option and choose use original, then set. all done

Thank you both for those apps

Depends on the launcher.I use launcherpro and it has the option in preferences.

Adw and go launcher have an option to deselect scrolling. I'm sure most launchers also have it somewhere in there settings.

I use quickpic or stock gallery to set wallpaper. Those allow to set 1 static image or one larger image that will scroll with homescreen. Just make sure you select the right option.

Photoalbum widget

I searched and came up with nothing. I'm looking for a photo album widget. I have a few hundred photos that'd I'd like to just have show up. Not for my wallpaper but I just want to have a nice frame with them where the photos change at a certain interval. I found a bunch for wallpapers but I don't need that lol I need one for just an album. I tried the gallery one but its not the style I want. so any help would be awesome please and thank-you

What device do you want to use it on?
There is an app called Transframers Photo Frame on the market. For some reason it says free in the description, but there is a price to it.
It was free when I got it (maybe an older version), but try it out
I use it on my ASUS Transformer which is now with my wife. If you need me to pull the apk, remind me on the 14th (when she is back) and I'll see how I can help.

Landscape wallpaper

Sorry if this has been covered, i can't search this particular forum with Tapatalk
Has anyone been able to properly set their wallpaper with landscape proportions rather than portrait? Even when I select my wallpaper of choice, and select the ridiculous cropping I'm forced upon, my wallpaper has large black gaps in any screen other than my middle screen.
I've tried multiple launchers to no avail, the best I can do is to use Holo Launcher and disable scrolling wallpaper; this is not the desired effect.
Is there something I'm missing here?

The wallpaper should be sized 1440x1280 for scrolling to work, 720x1280 for just setting an image as a wallpaper. I use a combination of Apex launcher and I set my wallpaper using "Quickpic" which is available in the Play Store. I think other suggestions include "Zedge" but I have no experience with the app.

How do you set your wallpapers?

May sound stupid, but the way we have to set wallpapers on this phone is terrible. It only allows me to do like a third of the wallpaper. I remember on previous phones I would drag the wallpaper to set it. Any app suggestions or ideas.

Yeah i found that annoying as well. I use the quickpic wallpaper app from the play store. Does a much better job of setting the wallpaper without having to crop out 2/3rds of the wallpaper
Do not choose wallpaper for lock and home screens. Do them separately. Cropping is only for the lock screen. Home screen separately does not have the crop option-full image for scrolling purposes.

if youre using one homescreen you could also just resize yourepictures to that screen size.

Hi. I also have a problem with thewallpaer. In the lockscreen it looks great but in the homescreen it is much smaller since only a part of it is displayed.
One of the apps I use is Simple Image Wallpaper Free. It resizes the image to your device's resolution.
