Fonts in Sense 4 - HTC Desire S

Hey guys,
at the moment I'm on fallout v5.0.0.
I wanted to ask you, If I'm able to change the font? I have there a .ttf file for example. How can I change font? This would be really really great if you could tell me!

Put your .ttf on your sdcard (for example: /sdcard/fonts), and use an app like "font changer lite" (free on playstore) to apply them. Reboot, enjoy.
edit: "font installer" by jrummy is a good choice too, it has many fonts availables but you cannot add your own .ttf with it.

there you go... OK, it's not .ttf but it worked for me though...
apk has been installed how to apply it using stock launcher...:|
You can extract the apk file and go into the res folder to find your font, very likely in ttf. Then you can use a Font Changer app to install the font onto your device.
Root is needed, by the way.
Or otherwise, you can navigate to root/system/font and replace the font in there - but remember to modify the permissions of your newly installed font ttf.
Is there any other good fonts in apk format?
Here it is...
Choco cooky
I have a choco cooky font that you can apply to your phone. I can send it to you if you want...

Fonts for CM7 Thunderbolt?

Were can I get fonts for CM7? How do I install them? Im being told font changer but ppl are also saying dont use it. Is there a metamorph mod for font or a flashable zip in recovery? I want sony sketch font. Please help.
thanks
BUMP......
I've never had any issues with Font Changer or Custom Font Switcher.
Right now I use Absolute System Root Tools and love it. It's a paid app but has a bunch of features including a boot animation changer and font changer.
JRummy has a paid apps just like it in the market also. I think it's just called Root Tools or Root Toolkit.
Hope I helped.

[MOD] Helvetica Font

This is the way to have the Helvetica font (Iphone) in our i9003.
Download Helvetica Font, extract the rar, and copy files to external SD. Then with Root Explorer copy them to /system/fonts and replace files (do a backup of the replaced files previously to restore if you dont like the changes). Reboot!
This files can be used in any android phone (just have to change the name of the predetermined font to replace it).
I know that is an app somewhere in the forum and a payd app, but it is too small, dont have the "¿" and other symbols, and have problems with the some apps like TW Calendar. THIS IS NOT THE SAME FONT OF THE APPS !
Helvetica Font Multiupload link
You can download Font Changer and put files inside app folder to change fonts too.
Can you upload into multi-upload? I can't access Megaupload in China Hong Kong.

Friends, just find a fonts rar file attached. The files inside are in apk format so just install as regular applications. This include even Helitica font also. After installation u will find these fonts under Settings>display>fonts. Enjoy
I did't want to open a seperate thread for this. Hope it's fine.

Its call Fontomizer, and it doesnt have Helvetica font (Just Hindi).
I wouldnt create this thread without any previous investigation. The fonts in market are not free, and even then, they are no like this one. They are too small to read, and and doesnt have all symbols.
Thanks for sharing, juanmaper.
going to give it a try

How to change font in hox?

Iam looking to change the font using font installer, it doesn't change the fonts in the settings menu, fonts in all other places were changed. Any suggestions or alternative font changer available which completely changes fonts everywhere?

root and mod it out lol....this device is a masterpiece one set up right lol...
Since fonts are stored in the system files of the device there is no way to change them without root because no app will be able to write to or access the font folder with out super user permissions. So root away and enjoy your phone to its fullest potential
Edit
Also you can't selectively choose which parts of the os fonts change it's really all or nothing

I use rom toolbox to change my fonts, bootscreens etc
I am going to call my kids Ctrl, Alt and Delete. Then if they muck up I will just hit them all at once.

On all the roms I've tried it on
A TV can insult your intelligence, but nothing rubs it in like a computer.

Yes you can, they are in the local tab, sweep the screen to the right and you can see your folders
"You know you're a geek when... You try to shoo a fly away from the monitor with your cursor. That just happened to me. It was scary."
Okay it changed now.
But its not good, because i cannot set Bold/BoldItalic/Italic.
There is just regular and this looks bad as hell!
There are some flashable zips you can search for. I know about segoe wp, Helvetica, roboto font.
Never had success with a ttf font file. Search for flashable zips, you'll find them..

I use font changer to apply ttf fonts. Put them in a folder (like /sdcard/fonts) and set the path to this folder in font changer. If you want bold or italic you need to have 1 ttf by type (xxxxx.ttf + xxxxx-bold.ttf + xxxxx-italic.ttf).

In times of Gingerbread I also used Font Changer. But this Font Changer doesnt work on Ice Cream Sandwich! I have these 4 .ttf files (Regular,Bold,Italic,BoldItalic) and I want to have them working on Fallout ROM or ViperSAGA
