First..thanks for new rom..

could this be a new flavor of JB?
i see you on here quite a bit, but might have to wait for a little feedback before taking the leap. looks pretty sleek from the screen shots though. i am all a quiver.
thank you for your time and endeavors towards our Infuse.

Ive been running it for a few hours now and the initial impression is great! Liquid smooth as the name implies. I love the paranoid android implementation (PA was my daily driver prior to this) Battery held up great while I was out playing football with a few buddies for a few hours while on standby. i'll do some extensive testing of the rom over the next few days, but something tells me that this is going to be a good one. Thanks again !:highfive:
p.s. would love to do some overclocking on this rom sometime down the road, although it definitely doesnt need it. Wonder if I could use scotts PA OC kernel? hmm I shall be adventurous tonight.
Again great rom man! I really appreciate it.

Might work! If this rom is based on. CM10 it might!

Yeah, the PA implementation was genius.. it was just what this rom was missing to really shine.
It is a shame they reverted those commits.. I hope they give it another shot soon
And actually Connor Baker already had the idea of using scotts PA OC kernel and this is what he said:
I installed it, and so far I have'nt seen any adverse affects. It does seem quite a bit smoother too.

Congrats Andros - nice build !!
This is as smooth on my Infuse as the version for my SGS3.
I have tested it and found no issues - the gps first lock takes a while but that is pretty much known on Infuse builds.
Thanks for your hard work on this- worth it !!

Great job man. Just an FYI... I see you have the liquid smooth github link, but you need to have a link up to the kernel source you used. Keep up the good work.

Gonna give this a shot. Looks awesome. Thanks!

ISO levels.
Hey everyone! It's about 1 am where I live so I'm going to try to make this very brief. I have noticed that when switching the ISO level on most JB ROM's (LiqiudSmooth, and Scott's 10-15 build) that the ISO level when set to 1600 appears to work (as in the preview becomes much brighter as it is supposed to when upping the ISO). But, after taking a picture, the picture looks as if the ISO level was set back to 100. No clue what is causing this. I have been able to repeat this multiple times on my phone (and on multiple flashes). I'm going to try to attach a logcat file (not really sure how you're going to sift through this stuff, but I did manage to mostly limit it to opening the camera app, taking a picture, and then pausing the log). I wish you all the best of luck in trying to fix this (if it's even possible (or if our camera can effectively utilize such a high ISO)). Log is attached.
Best of luck,
Connor Baker
P.S - This was done on LiquidSmooth ROM, but later tomorrow I might be able to re-do this on Scott's CM10 ROM if he would like me to. For now however, I have to sleep.

tried flashing this and ran into an error.
i first went back to stock, then to ics, then to cypher, to this rom.

If you have an issue and you want to call our attention, here's what you do:
1. Try everything you can, find solutions for yourself. Wipe caches, revert all your settings you have made, go back to your stock Kernel, factory reset if you have to or reflash the rom. Assume that the issue is on your side and try your best to isolate it.
2. Search this thread and JMZtaylor's thread aswell (its the base ROM) for possible reoccurences of your issue and hopefully solutions that may have come up.
3. If you think the issue is important enough that we should cease our work and look into it, post your issue, BUT
... stay friendly, do not demand anything, do not threaten
... explain your issue as precise as you can, name the exact apps and conditions that cause trouble, help us to replicate the issue right away. If we can't there's no way we can fix it and your post will simply clutter the thread
... collect evidence, keep in mind this is a developer thread so even if you are not one, do us the favor and research how to record logcat. logcat is the single most important help you can give us to resolve your issue.
Team D.I.R.T Paranoidandroid Jelly Bean v1.0
- Got it to boot
- Fixed USB, Data and the usual stuff
- Added GAPPS
- Included Beats Audio/XLoud
- Applied Landscape Lockscreen MOD
- Own Number for voicemail
- Fixed a few more things here and there.....REMEMBER this is a WIP (work in progress)
Team D.I.R.T Paranoidandroid Jelly Bean v1.1
- Removed Lockscreen Circles
- Removed Torch app for now until fixed
- Optimized all .ogg files
- Made a few performane tweaks....should feel faster!
- Updated hosts file for ad-free experience
Team D.I.R.T Paranoidandroid Jelly Bean v1.2
- Paranoid got its own dir in /system/etc/paranoid - pad.prop is not properties.conf
- A clean backup properties file is shipped, you can make a full reset in the panel in case you lost it with all the settings you made (very useful for those new to Paranoidandroid)
- Force option can be activated in the panel, good for widget scaling
- The DPI sliders in the panel read min/max props from properties.conf, define them as you wish
- TabletUI Recents are back to a bigger size, this is temporary, I'll try to find a way to port the phone implementation as project butter/Google skipped the TabletUI code
- CM fixed alot of features again, they're included!
- Added a few tweaks for performance and battery life
Team D.I.R.T Paranoidandroid Jelly Bean v1.3
- Updated CM10 base to keep up with new CM fixes, features or whatever
- New option in Paranoid Settings called "large". This tricks an app into thinking you have a large screen.......might be helpful in some cases, might be useless in other cases...hahaha
- Option to toggle Screenshot in power options and On-Screen buttons
- Removed ADB notify icon from statusbar and updated GAPPS
- Total Hybrid engine revamp, alot less clutter, many bugfixes, apps wont make jumps when you load them up because their actual size is calculated by the engine
- The algorithm to extract the actual layout containers from apk files works more precise and can reveal more than before. There will still be a few apps left that will do that layout stuff in java, an override button will be added in future releases for that. In the meantime you can edit /system/etc/paranoid/properties.conf with your favorite file manager text editor for the following....
360 for phone-like UI
600 for phablet
720 = tablet
1280 = super huge tablet

PLEASE be respectful and REMEMBER that this is FREE! I do NOT work for you! I have NOT and WILL NOT ask for donations for any of this! If you wish to donate, that's on you and that's just that....is a donation! YOU WILL NOT get an early copy of ANY ROM and I will not post your post your name/username anywhere....just not my style!
I am not responsible for any issue flashing roms may cause for your phone. By flashing this rom, you are accepting any and all risks you may be taking in doing so! Team D.I.R.T and I will be updating this port as things are added, removed or changed. Any suggestions are appreciated, but not guaranteed to make the cut.
ENJOY!!
Question : Can I flash another kernel with this ROM?
ANSWER : At this moment you can't! If you try to flash another kernel i.e Mason Kernel, it will break your WiFi.
Question : When is the next version going to be released?
ANSWER : In the next 5 minutes or maybe in the next 5-6 months....Don't ask for ETAs!! The next version will be released when is ready to be released.
Question : I'm stuck at the splash screen, what can I do?
ANSWER : Don't FREAK OUT and pull your battery! Go into your recovery and make sure you've wiped EVERYTHING except your sdcard and flash the ROM zip again. Before rebooting make sure you unplug your phone until you've booted up.
Question : When I was on ROM A or ROM B, this one thing was working like this BUT is no longer working like that....what can I do?
ANSWER : First thing you need to remember is that every ROM is different. Don't expect to have the same features from MIUI on a Sense ROM or something from a GB ROM working on a JB ROM. Also remember that this is a WIP (work in progress) ROM and certain things will not work like they do on a Sense 1.0 ROM.
Question : Why are people so mean to me?
ANSWER : Because this is the internet my friend! Chances are the reason people are being mean to you is because you either asked something that's been answered 800 times already or that's already answered in the OP! If it becomes an issue, hit that triangle and let a moderator handle it
Anything I can do to help!
Looks good Mazda.

Yes, do do need to unlock the bootloader.
OK so I've been running RC7 for about 4 hours that I downloaded from IRC. Things I've noticed so far:
When using YouTube, I'm getting visual artifacts when changing orientation. It just happens during the orientation swap and then goes away. Also intermittent screen issues when starting you tube that I've seen twice now. Portions of the screen were repeating themselves.
Only one time, I was swiping through settings and when I hit the bottom of the list, there was a weird and quick visual artifact.
I'm not getting any sort of general screen flicker that I've experienced with other Roms, but I went ahead and shut off Hardware Overlay just for the hell of it. Which hasn't changed anything with YouTube artifacting during orientation changed.
During phone call, I could not adjust call volume. Call volume was not loud or low, but just right despite the fact i could not adjust it. Speakerphone worked OK and I was able to lower volume during sleakerphone it seems.
GPS locked on pretty quickly.
4G and WiFi work great.
Camera and Video work. No problems with low Audio on Video record.
I'm really quite happy with it and see no reason not to use this as my Daily Driver.
I don't care about Bluetooth or NFC so can't speak to those.
Battery drain seems to be quite normal.
Hey, I've been using Synergy for the whole time I've had my S3. Can anybody compare RC5 or 7's battery life to that of Synergy's? I'm guessing it will be somewhat lower
yeah! been looking for a new jellybean rom to try out........TW is nice n whatnot, but aosp is just as nice in its own respects......gonna toss this bad boy on later and test it out, seeing as i'm going to work tomorrow ill be able to test out the NFC at mcdonalds and see how its working

First of all, hello TF101 community
I've had this sweet transformer of ours for about year and a half now, and have done some flashing on it, but I barely use it and have to admit I rarely visit this forum.
But all that is about to be a thing of the past
Most of you may know RaymanFx was formerly supporting this Rom, but certain events led him to abandon it and focus on other projects.
I also bring LiquidSmooth to my phone (Samsung Infuse) and had been wanting to also start developing for the tf101, so I figured this was my chance.
I then contacted Christopher and offered to take over and continue bringing you LiquidSmooth, to which he kindly agreed.
I possess only a fraction of Rayman's developing skills and knowledge, but I'm slowly making progress as time goes by. I'm pretty sure this will give me a chance to bond with my transformer and give it the love it deserves
Hope you all enjoy this as I do!
Andros
Awesome!! Love to see every new build for our lovely device
Thank you!
Cheers
All ready a good start! Well done, your first offering is working well!
A giant thanks for keeping Liquid Smooth alive for the transformer.
This is sweet, good job!!!
Thanks alot Mate!!!

Andros - Really appreciate your efforts, Hope you get to learn a lot from the seniors and come up with a great ROM. All the best !!!
I have a request, can you get this uploaded in Goo Manager, as it'll be simpler to track and also easy to download and install.
Coming to the installation, do we need to run the super wipe script and clean everything before/ or a simple usual wipe should do? which kernel do you suggest/ or does the ROM include the kernel also?
RC7 had some compatibility problems with few kernel. I had to roll back to RC5 and use Tim"s kernel. Please advice
Cheers,
Amrth
RC 9 first day running
Hi all,
updated from RC 7 to RC 9 by installing over the top just a wipe cache and Dalvik.
using Katkernal 70 with lidpatch and this is running so smooth at 1.2 Ghz.
Bluetooth audio works after installing patch.
At the moment I can't think of anything to make this Rom run better, its excellent.
Many thanks
No External Storage
Just downloaded and installed. So far so good until I tried to view a picture to change my wallpaper. But when I click the picture it says No Storage and then I have to click out of the picture. I have a 32gb micro SD and the internal storage. Any ideas what may be wrong.

Really hoping I do learn much here, specially with all the kernel development around.
Still don't have a goo.im account, but I was thinking of eventually setting one up to use with goomanager and all that. Will work on it soon.
I always recommend a full wipe, plus a format /system, to keep things as clean as possible. But as always, flash process is up to each of you. If you skip a wipe and get into issues, you know who to blame first.
This includes a prebuit kernel from Rayman's device repo. Still haven't played around with other kernels.
Kat Kernel
I find that the wifi is better with Kat kernel and also the gps .
Great work, I was using revolver until yesterday and all I can say is that this thing flies now, no lag whatsoever. I just have a question, can the audio volume get boosted somehow?
Edit: I know this is not the place for a question like this but is this compatible with dock and can I use docks from different transformer versions.

Filled the form today.. let's hope they answer back with good news.
On another note, I had a 4.2.1 alpha I intended on uploading but decided not to. I ran into a persistent system ui FC when playing with the quick settings options in Settings. Might take a look at it but I'm quite positive it just needs more code to be merged.
Edit: speaking of such, I just received the confirmation email

Just for clarification, the download link with cherry picks is the one with modified Camera stuffs. Let me know which you prefer. If there are too many issues with the modified build I'll try again before abandoning the changes completely. Thanks guys and gals!
First.thanks for another great ROM and thank you BMP
Cherry picks work for Camera!
Thanks @Kiltnar, the 5-second delay is gone! While the preview didn't work with the Camera2 and Gallery2.apks that are included even when switch to 480p, I swapped both apks with the two from the Unofficial CM 11 04/01 version, repaired permissions and now I have no delay and fully working preview on camcorder! If you want to test to see if it works for you too. I am attaching them here. Thank @ThdDude as it's from his rom.
Also I noticed that in the build.prop in /system that the line "lpa.decode=true" hasn't been changed to false, I know it's a mainstream CM merge, but just wanted to let you know. Thanks again for your awesome work!
Hey this looks really cool! I may give it a spin soon. Thanks for sharing!

I dirty flashed myself and the delay was gone after the rom Optimized the Apps. I did experience a random reboot, but that was shortly after I changed the governor and made a call, which most likely is caused by the dirty flash. After it rebooted, I haven't had a problem, but will let everyone know if I do.
Has anyone tried the addons through aroma like xscope or the sweetener pack? I always get set_perm: some changes failed.
Is the 5second delay gone ?,
No more reboots after video preview? Can you add wakelocker. cLock. Mass storage
?
We need screen shots of rom. Please.. Thank you

I haven't tried them out. But will once it charges. I'll let you know if I experience the same thing. Will be making another build with Bluetooth fixes .. Ie reverting a commit that seems to help Bluetooth along from @Almite github. He seems to have the only KitKat rom with no Bluetooth issues. I took a look at his github and saw he reverted a commit dealing with Bluetooth. I'll build in a bit with this fix.

Awesome. Sounds good.
Obviously these addons aren't essential but just throwing it out there for what its worth. I tried it out on my N7 and everything seemed to work (install) fine. However, after it booted no changes took effect. Everything was still stock. Not sure if a candy issue or what but just throwing it out there in case its just a ROM wide issue for now.

Yeah that's the commit that changes lpa.decode to false. I noticed the Parandroid rom, the last beta has that commit reversed also. It was @Almite who told me about it when I was experimenting with his Hercules rom.
Bluetooth Build fixed?
Here's a build with the LPA commit reverted for bluetooth. http://forum.xda-developers.com/devdb/project/dl/?id=5443
Also I tried all of the Generic Device aroma installer zips. They all installed fine but did not install the selected changes. Tried a couple twice, fixed permissions, but it did not work. @BMP7777 Can you check into this please?
Thanks guys and gals. Let me know if this fixes the bluetooth issues for those that have had problems, if this works I'll add this fix to my other builds to get bluetooth working on them as well. Thanks for all the support guys and gals, it means a lot.

I just tried the new build and unfortunately it didn't fix the Bluetooth issue. Once I launched Apollo, it fc and when I checked the build.prop, the lpa with still set to true.

[ROM] VanirAOSP[unofficial] [4.4.2] organized, clean, fast.

Welcome to VanirAOSP. Our mission is to deliver a clean optimized version of Android to as many devices as possible. This is not a kang rom. You will find versions of the features you love that we've rewritten and improved on plus a few we wrote ourselves. we've tried to acheive a more organized and cohesive setup to improve the user experience while correcting any performance regressions and improving functionality.
If you're the kind of person that needs options to change the font and color on every letter and expect the ROM to end up looking like kid's cereal box then GTFO. Did anyone on the team give you permission to post this thread? I know I didn't. I know nuclearmistake didn't. Also, I noticed you've only listed yourself in the contributors section. What exactly is your gerrit name and what have you contributed to this ROM?
I'm not trying to be rude, we appreciate your support in the forums and all but in the interest of keeping things standardized and professional we have guidelines that need to be followed. You need to contact me.

I see that you did ask. My bad I woke up and went right to work. You're welcome to help maintain and contribute for the device. Nuclearmistake will be also. Since he's a core developer for the ROM you'll have to collaborate on changes but feel free to submit anything to our review vaniraosp.goo.im. For now I'd appreciate it if you added unofficial to the thread title and listed the actual developers in the credits. The way you have it makes it look like you put the ROM together.
With vanir it's not necessary to make your own builds. We have a built-in updater and nuke compiles nightlies for all the devices every day. We handle it this way so maintainers can spend more time testing and actually contributing to make the ROM better. If you want to start contributing we'd like to have you on board. Message me on hangouts and I'll invite you to our developer chat.

flashed on G900F
basically the same as AOKP, Carbon and MoKee, no mobile network, no recents key, no camera, no vibration, no accelerometer.
First off, love Vanir, it's always incredibly smooth.
*Working List*
Damn near everything and same thing as CM/AOKP/Carbon
*Not Wroking*
Camera
recents key
haptic
All in all its the same thing as others at this point in time but Vanir in my opinion is running the smoothest right now. I had a short bit of lag on startup but it was gone before set up was over. LTE is working and its running nice, with how small the not working is this is my new daily driver and flashing new ones as they come in.
