Was following the instuctions here to flash back to stock to do the OTA update on my note which is already rooted with CWM, and when I rebooted into odin (step 3), it booted up to a screen saying "Downloading..." and it's been stuck here for about two hours now. I can't seem to reboot it or power off, what the heck do I do?

/facepalm I apparently hadn't held that down long enough. Thanks, that got it back and booted up, now the question is what went wrong so I can get this flashed?
Did you reflash the stock recovery through ODIN? After doing that you then can flash the OTA, then reflash cwm and supersu...
I have a simylar problème ( dont boot I keep on samsung logo flashing), I try flash a stock rom, always the same, and no recovery mode, just download mode, where found the stock recovery ?

You can try to unlock the bootloader and flash the factory image. Beware, you'll loose every data in the internal memory.

Thanks, so does this mean this was stock, or no, since i can't move up or down.
Where do i go from here, a how to flash factory image tutorial?
Search the forums. Its all here.
All bootloaders are stock. There are no custom bootloaders/radios.
Cant tell what is on your phone in the bootloader mode. But there is some kind of issue if the volume up and down doesnt work in that mode

Hello,
I tried downgrading my phone with Odin, but when my phone goes in recovery mode, it shows this image and Odin does not detect my phone.

Whats more is that the only way I can get out of this recovery mode is by doing a factory reset. If I take out the battery, plug it back in and turn it back on, it will always boot back into recovery mode.
Any help?

I smell some mistake here. Odin is to be used only in download mode AFAIK.
Hit thanks rather than typing it now Free
Oh, well I tried using download mode but Odin could not detect my phone either.
So how can I downgrade my phone?
Hi there
Today I went from a working phone to a not working one. It all started when i wanted to do a factory reset.
I was on Franko r20 and on the second latest cynogen verison (can't remember the number). Since i wanted to flash the latest update i put the stock kernel on my phone and flashed it in
CWM directly on my phone. After that the phone didn't boot into the system. It just shows the boot icon.
Then used a guide to reflash every single OS component via fastboot . Still the same. No boot into system. Also cyanogen mod recovery couldnt find a data partition. AFter that i flashed TWRP. But like before TWRP also can't find /sdcard. It won't let me mount *data"
I also did a full factory wipe.
However when I reboot the phone I noticed that after a while the capacitive buttons light up and the phone makes key sounds when I tap the screen and lock sounds when I push the off button. It seems the phone is booted but I still get the regular OPO boot image on my screen.
Can anyone help me with this matter?
EDIT: This is how my TWRP console looks after trying to do a factory reset / wipe:

When I try to turn off my Optimus 3D P920, it always restarts instead of shutting down.
I try to shut down either by holding the power button and selecting Power off from the menu, or using an app like Quick Boot. Always restarting.
This happened after upgrading from official 2.3.5 to official ICS.
One thing I noticed after the upgrade: immediately after the phone turns on, the LG logo changed(the one that appeares before the bootanimation). Before the upgrade it was red like in this image

Now, when the phone boots, it looks like fastboot
The only way I managed to actually turn the phone off is to enter TWRP recovery and select Shutdown from there.
Any help is appreciated!
Thank you!
I just found out that this is a bug of using non-stock(wkpark's) bootloader. Finally found a way to flash stock bootloader/recovery using this tool - http://d-h.st/24C
The downside is that i lost TWRP. Well, I made a backup before, and if I ever need recovery I will reflash it. I prefer being able to turn the phone off normally.
P.S. The phone still has the fastboot look when it boots, it doesn't really bother me though, it might just be the way it is after ICS upgrade.
Hi,
I have rooted Mi 4 with developer ROM downloaded from Xiaomi site. Recently I installed CWM recovery and got first nandroid backup. Today suddenly I lost my root and SuperSU told that binary had to be updated so I chose the CWM/TWRP option. When the phone rebooted it got to boot loop. Now I can't even get to recovery or fastboot. ADB devices doesn't show anything. Is there anything that I can try or is my month old Mi 4 permanently bricked?
After pressing vol down and power button I get this

Ok panicked too early. I fixed it with this easy guide: technobuzz.net/use-mi-pc-suite-to-flash-fastboot-rom-on-bricked-xiaomi-phones
PS. I hope linking in this context doesn't break the forum rules.
What did you do?
I just got a MI4 yesterday (still has the plastic on the screen even) and updated to the new developer rom (quite literally a few minutes ago). Now during bootup it will not go past the MI screen..
Can go into fastboot but not recovery.
What can I do here? (USB debugging isn't enabled so I think that contributes to the problem.)

This is the fastboot / bootloader mode.
