Installing SuperUser WithOut Custom Recovery

i have 2 question:
1. can we install superuser without custom recovery flash on htc explorer/pico.
2. after installing super user from custom recovery can we install stock recovery. as with custom recovery i am having many issue such as inbuilt defragment not working etc.
Superuser is automatically installed when you root. You do NOT need a custom recovery.
The recovery allows you to backup/restore, factory reset, and flash custom ROMs/mods/kernels.
So they are not related at all.

you can try to root your phone than as our friend said the SU came with it automaticaly, and then you should try to go back to stock recovery as you having problems... if it doesn't work you could try other methods to root your phone without the need of installing custom recovery, i don't know your phone model but you can try SOC (SuperOneClick) maybe it can help you hope soo
The phone is htc explorer. After unlocking the bootloader how to root it without installing custom Rom?
Thanks in advance....

You don't need to install a custom ROM to root your device, but you do need a custom recovery. See here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1415223.

Installing Yannou's CWM recovery

Hello, I want to install custom rom "NExtGen 1.2 for HTC Explorer" which says it requires : "Yannou's CWM recovery". Can someone tell me if I can directly install this recovery? Or I have to install first CWM and then follow this ?
The "A310E Recovery.zip" that this tutorial says to install, which one is it? CWM, or Yannou's?
A310e recovery.zip contain yannou's recovery

See the original one has been built from source and has bugs of its own. This one is complied from another dev. So it is different.
Please correct me if I am wrong.

Boot.img huh?
See if you are on jb and want to restore jb Rom then boot.img is not necessary to restore but if u have any ics backup then only it is necessary.

For miui you need ext partition on the SD card, also it's easier if you get in Next gen thread and download superwipe
