[Q] Eclipse ROM - Verizon Samsung Galaxy S III

Any one else getting random reboots? I see no reports in the thread that have not been resolved, and have tried what was suggested in the thread and am still getting them.
I think they're reboots, at least.

I have been on this rom since release and have not had one reboot.

Stock kernel, underclocked to 1240, interactive/conservative.

Kind of why I'm confused, most people who had issues had dirty flashes, but I went back to stock, rooted, unlocked, then flashed with CWM. No custom kernels, or anything...

Never had a problem when I ran it.

I never had reboots when I was running it either.

Trying to flash Black Bean to Crespo Stuck on Google/unlock screen

I have tried Black Bean 2 and 3, downloaded from goo and mirror, installed using ROM Manager and Goo, I made a nandroid, wiped cache, factory reset, and wiped Dalvik. I keep getting stuck at the Google/ Unlocked screen. I have let it run for about 20 minutes on that screen, and tried rebooting. Any ideas? I am not new to flashing ROMs, but not a pro either. I have flashed several roms on my Crespo, TF201, and Droid X.
It should be factory reset, then cache, then dalvik. I don't know if it truly makes a difference the order or not but that's what they say.

And they are b going to need the Korea info most likely

The dev Jelly Bean was for the American Nexus S, the only difference is that I am using the Korean radios. I use CWM and wipe in the order you suggested. I have flashed several ROMs to my Nexus S and have always used the ones for Crespo and not crespo soju.
Hold on a sec...I'll try to get someone more knowledgeable

Try flashing another kernel

Believe you're going to have to go all Korea or all American..?

Ok so that shredder and travis both said to try a different kernel. I would go check some out.

I have no idea where to begin.....any kernel recommendations? They would have to be added to the zip prior to installing? I tried to find a walkthrough and didn't have any luck.

Going to try using the marmite 4.5 kernel. Should it be flashed ROM-Kenrel-gapps, or does it really matter, if it is before or after gapps?
If it for your phone? Sorry was flashing

[Q] Sense Rom Search

Hey guys. I'm new to the Android community and I have this AT&T One X that was running a 4.1.1 stock ROM, until I flashed it to Cyanogenmod 10.2 specifically wanted to use the hotspot function which I couldn't use in the stock ROM. Now that I'm on the CM, I miss the Beats audio feature along with the stock camera app and lock screen. I came across a ROM named Liberty, but it's unclear whether or not it supports hotspot and I searched through pages of it and looking for a Q&A, but no results.
In conclusion, I'm looking for a custom ROM that runs on Sense for it's camera app, Beats audio drivers, quite possibly a nice weather lock screen, and also supports hotspot without being under AT&T's contract. Anything else with those will be a given.
Any version of the OS and Sense will do as long as it's stable. Thanks in advance.
I personally like the version included in 5.18. Ruu

Does it support the hotspot feature without being under AT&T's data contract? I looked at this update at my very first attempt of updating/custom ROM's but it wasn't clear.
Sorry. I don't know. I can't remember

Well..if your phone is rooted ., I don't see an issue with the hot spot

It is rooted, but every time I tried turning on the hotspot, the same block pop-up would show up. I looked at different forums and they just use apps to bypass the carrier block but never worked for me even with my phone being rooted... That or custom ROMs which actually work for me, but don't fit all my needs.
Fastboot getvar all please
At&t ROMs deliberately break the hotshot feature. You need to use a non at&t ROM.

[Q] Why is my IR on a brand new phone not working on MOAR 2.2 rom?

I just got a warranty replacement and rooted it and put on MOAR 2.2 and am running the latest KTOONZ kernel .....in fact it would let me do the stock kernel...it froze up during boot until I flashed the KTOONZ kernel. I'm not sure if it's because the replacement phone did an OTA update before I flashed the rom...I don't remember having the spark logo on my previous S5 before warranty replacement. Is there a service I need to turn on using a debloat tool? I used the Aroma bloat tool that comes with the Rom to make sure the Smart Remote service was installed and I made sure it was turned on in accesability....I have no way of know if it's a hardware issue or a kernel issue, but it seems unlikely it's a hardware issue...since it's a brand new phone. I'm going to do a nandroid backup and try flashing a stock 4.4.4 rom to see if that fixes it, but I'd rather skip that if there is simple fix or test. Thanks ahead of time for any help anyone offeres.
Ir has been discussed in the moar 2.2 thread already. I suggest you search there.

Does Anyone Have a KitKat Nandroid of the system partition?

Or a place to get it? I can't get odin to let me install 4.4... Anyone have advice? I'm thinking a nandroid backup has a good chance of working
Depending on the version of Android you're currently on you can only go so far back in versions. It would help to mention what version your phone is currently. Chances are you can't go back to any kk release of Android.

If you are unaware of this you should probably research before getting to just flash things. Just...common sense. Especially since I'm guessing you aren't trying to create a paperweight.

It really is a paperweight sometimes anyways... Theres a short in the board somewhere that causes it to not charge at random times... Thats besides the point though.. I'm on 6.0 (CM13)
