I only used it with app2sd+ so I'm not sure how much will be left without it to be honest. HTC_IME works I think, you might get fc if you try to calibrate it though. not sure about fps will get back to you on that.

I'd really appreciate a ZIP full of the HTC apps & widgets that work on Froyo so I can pick and choose which to include.
Haven't tried out 3D Gallery yet.

I will move them to data on my next update so that you can remove which ever ones you don't like. I will also provide the apps as in zip format for those who don't want to change roms but want the apps.
any bugs that anyone's come across. I haven't rooted my phone yet, because I wanted a froyo+sense+htc apps rom, so depending on peoples feedback, i might switch to this. I especially want teeter.

This is an Xposed module (See http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1574401 for more on Xposed) that allows Netflix to work on CM10.1 on Exynos4 devices.
Source code is at https://github.com/Entropy512/XposedNetflixWorkaround - Use the Android Developer Tools Eclipse package to build it
To install:
Install the Xposed Installer APK from the thread linked above
Install the Xposed framework using Xposed Installer
Install the APK linked in this post
Reboot your device after enabling the module in Xposed Installer
Enjoy Netflix
How does this work?
For whatever reason, Netflix uses its own player, called JPlayer, if it detects that it is running on Android 4.2. For whatever reason, JPlayer does NOT like the current video subsystem in CM10.1 on Exynos4 devices.
What this module does is make Netflix always think that it is running on ICS, which will make it use what appears to be the system OMX player. (I'm not entirely sure of this, but I am sure that it is NOT JPlayer and it DOES work on all of my devices I've tested).
This is an interim workaround/hack until the root cause of JPlayer failing on Exynos4 devices can be determined. (Edit: From talking with a few people, JPlayer is replacing a number of components of Android's playback framework. This includes components that have been altered for Exynos4 compatibility.)
DO NOT REPORT THIS ISSUE IN CYANOGENMOD JIRA. No affected devices are receiving M or stable builds and this is one of the many reasons.

Could you try this installer instead? http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=36436643#post36436643
It's a known problem for some ROMs which fail to update /data/system/packages.list.

Andrew, version 1.8.1 of Netflix works on Exynos4 + Jelly Bean. I'm not sure if it's the last known working version but it's an alternative; I took a stab and downloaded the version I thought might be at/around the last Netflix update for ICS.
Edit: arcee indicated that 2.1.1 will work in tomorrow's build, not sure if specific to Odroid only.

He took a different approach to killing JPlayer:
https://github.com/CyanogenMod/andr...mmit/916bbf03847ef5e3b5264bbbeac6c30399281520
So this Xposed mod may become obsolete...
There's no clean way to do this. Either there is app-specific **** in the device tree that is difficult for users to remove if it ever gets derpy, or users have to actively search for a workaround such as this one.

Latest working version is 2.0.1, the APK is linked below. It is the last version before they have introduced the newest controls. Works just fine on S2 with CM 10.1.

This is the easiest solution for the problem right now. Don't update from Market, but that is I guess quite obvious.

The Xposed solution allows you to update and install from the Market with no issues.
Arcee's "patch the configuration XML file" approach also works.

Is this something that will eventually be rolled into a cm 10.1 nightly update or will it always be something that has to be installed separately on the side? Thanks again for all your awesome work.

Dependent on the device maintainer I'm sure. My Odroid U2 has a fix merged in last night's nightly. YMMV.

Any chance of adding this to Galaxy S2 nightlies?
I've added <int name="nflx_player_type" value="6" /> manually to the config file and it works.

I'm considering using arcee's approach... I really dislike having app-specific **** in the device tree though...
I can't figure out why people are having issues installing Xposed - it has installed flawlessly on every CM10.1 device I've tried. The fact that it may fail on certain manufacturer-customized firmwares isn't relevant here as this hack is specific to CM10.1
The only thing I can think of might be that Superuser prompts aren't quite working right on some people's devices.
As to eventually including Xposed in CM itself - It is something I would love to see, however as a device maintainer, it's "above my pay grade". Including it directly in CM would require careful consideration and analysis by the project leads.
I'm working on a flashable zip that drops a script in init.d to get the job done. The script is based on https://github.com/CyanogenMod/andr...mmit/916bbf03847ef5e3b5264bbbeac6c30399281520 although I had to tweak it a little to get it to work. I can share it once it is finished, if anyone is interested. It will also copy a script to addon.d so that as I update cm10.1, the hack will be persistent.
I just got the I9506 and coming from a CM powered phone one of the things I missed was the DSP Manager app. So, I decided to port it to the S4. All you have to do is to copy the files in the zip to their proper locations in the phone with a rooted file manager and set the permissions to RW-R-R
Sorry, it is NOT a flashable zip as I do not have a custom ROM installed to test it, you'll have to move the files manually.
If you encounter any problems let me know.
I STRONGLY SUGGEST to back up the files before replacing them with the new ones....
This has been tested and working on a I9506 with stock ROM (4.3), but should work on other 4.3 ROMS and maybe also on 4.2 or 4.4. Test and let me know.
* If your phone dies doing this I'm not responsible
** I just edited some config files, the REAL WORK is from CM team.
*** This has been done for my personal use, I'm not looking for fame and/or glory, just sharing in case it is useful to anybody else
Have you tried Viper4Android? A lot more features than the standard DSP application.

Is an app that adds a number of sound effects and let's you set specific sound EQ values depending on the output (Headset, Loudspeaker, Bluetooth). If you have a custom recovery do a nandroid and test it... I think it should work

Fair enough, what you're comfortable with is the most important thing. But just to point out that it's very similar in terms of UI it just has a lot of additional options for tweaking the sound. I strongly suggest you try it and see if you like it. You can certainly get a better sound out of it than a plain DSP app. It's absolutely essential for anyone who uses their phone as a music player in my view.
Works fine on i9500. Not works on stock music app. thank you

I'm currently using stock Nexus 5 firmware but would like to have some of Cyanogenmod apps too .
Like cLock widget, file manager, torch, sound recorder.
I'd like to get them from official Cyanogenmod website as I don't trust APK files distributed by third parties.
However when I extract APKs from latest Cyanogenmod M release for Nexus 5 (currently cm-11-20141008-SNAPSHOT-M11-hammerhead.zip) some of them forceclose on start .
So I extracted the apps I need from latest stable release for Nexus 4 (cm-10.2.1-mako.zip) and they seem to work fine.
But is there a way to make APKs from Nexus 5 Cyanogenmod releases work on stock Nexus 5 firmware?
Are APKs in Nexus 5 Cyanogenmod builds any different from APKs included in Cyanogenmod builds for other phone models? Or there is some kind of 'standard' Cyanogenmod APK set which is afterwards 'tuned' for each phone model?
Some may require libs or framework. For those that only require lib files, simply open the .apk in question on your PC using WinRAR or the equivalent (it is technically a renamed .zip file)
If it has a lib folder or any files ending in .so more likely than not, you'll need to move those files to system/lib before the app in question will function properly.
There's also CM Apps available in the playstore, no guarantee they'll work. But I think they've been optimised to work on any firmware as I've never had any issues with them.
Thanks for quick replys!
I guess the apps indeed need some custom CM libraries. I may try this after checking out official Lollipop firmware, not going to root untill then.
And yes, APKs from 'CM Apps' work well (app itself broke but APKs are still on autohor's website). I'm interested where did the author get them. Just by trial & error from builds on CM website or not.

They work on your ROM because your ROM has CM stuff in it. Most of them won't work at all on actual full AOSP ROMs without them, like PA.
He probably just downloaded the ROM zips and took the apk files out.

Rc is only based on systemui apk, no need of replacing framworkres.apk and framework.jar!
i am not a big fan to take the stuff that makes SOMEBODY'S ELSE rom good and make it available on other roms.. And I agree with a previous post that android is not as simple as APKs, it may work on similar roms but as settings and systemUI are not standalone apps, there is libs, framework and many things more. For instance the the framework-res.apk defines many features and options available on rom control. And framework-res only works on the base rom.
Simply, if you want this, juste use sac23's rom
