i have update bootloader and installed rom : TrickDroid_v3.0.0_C2.zip
now it stuck on white screen and it shows me: This build is for development purposes only ....
what should i do ? i cant mount sd card throught cwm!
i have "
HBOT-1.06.0000
RADIO-0.16.31501S.02
OpenDSP-v23.1.0.32.0323
problem fixed//
Fast boot your boot.img however your luckey like myself as you have a low hboot which has less s-on restrictions. That being said though I always flash the boot.img in fast boot just to be sure. Also.use twrp it kicks a** especially for radio flashes with low hboots.

plz help. rooted sensation. I was running sense-o-maniac rom but switched to an ics rom using 4ext recovery but then my phone didnt start after 1 hour so i tried to put it into hboot and it said that no image or something and then asks ffor an update. When i do that update it reboots and gets stuck again but if i dont i cant press to go back only reboot where it gets stuck. What do i do? i am willing too do a full wipe or ANYTHING just gte me into recovery.PLEASE
Did you flash the recovery using hboot (pg58img.zip) If so remove it from your SD card (use an adaptor or just remove the SD and see if you can get to hboot as normal.

And if that's the case, you can put a Gingerbread ROM on the SD card and reflash that one. Should spin right up.
IF this is your problem
Yes most probably the problem is due to the flashing of the firmware. First flash the firmware required for ICS ROMS and then install the ROM, should work out fine for you
Hello every one
I just bought my HOX a few days ago .. came here to read and try to root it .. after some readings, (not enough ) i screwd up !
the bootloader is unlocked, and I successfully flashed the TWRP 2.2.0
didn t now about the tegra and the evita versions , so I tried the first time with endeavoru.img .. failed off course and ended up having the "tampered" above the "unlocked" ligne on the bootloader screen ..
after unlocking the bootloader ( and before flashing the twrp) when I tried to go to recovery via the bootloader , a red triangle apeared .. now that I have the TWRP i can go to recovery mode .. I assume that I can now do recoveries?
could you please tell me if I screwed up big time? or it is not big deal ??
Now I only need to root ... I saw the [TOOL] HTC One X (Evita) All-In-One Toolkit V1.1 [10-28-12] [PERM ROOT][Noob-Proof] thread and I am wondering if I can root it with it ..
If yes , can I go directly to " Extras/Perm Root"?? since I already unlocked the bootloader and installed a recovery ..?
Some info about my device :
Android ver:4.0.3
HTC sense Ver:4.0
Software Number:1.91.661.4
HTC SDK API level : 4.11
Baseband version:018a.32.09.01_2_10.94.32.20L
Build number : 1.91.661.4 CL71070 release-keys
Thanks to all of you out there who are here answering our questions , helping noobs like us .. and thanks also to all developers who help the community with their awesome works..

How about your software version?
Sent from my HTC One XL using xda premium
you don't have the at&t version so you can htcdev unlock. since you are already unlocked with recovery installed all you need to do it flash a custom rom in recovery, or flash this in recovery http://download.chainfire.eu/267/SuperSU/CWM-SuperSU-v0.97.zip if you want to be stock rooted.
I believe 1.91 is the Telus version and I remember reading that you need to flash a rooted rom in order to root
That s right it s written on the box that it s a telus version ...
Could you suggest me please a rooted rom that i can safely flash in my devise
Sent from my HTC One X using XDA Premium HD app
Once you get bootloader unlocked and install a recovery, then pick the rom of your choice and install. I believe they are all rooted, but someone may correct me on that. If you want a stock rooted rom, then search IN THIS FORUM for a stock rooted rom
Edit: Here is a post on how to root a Telus HOX http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1814914
Thanx a lot dear , and sorry to ask so much questions but i want to make sure.....
Now when i chose the recovery mode in bootloader it ogives me the TeamWin tool , does this mean that i an good to go?
And to flash a routed rom ,i do it with the TWRP ? I dont need the cmd?and the command lines? It s done directly with the TWRP ?
THANX ALOT FOR UR HELP DEAR

Yes. Put the zipped Rom on your sd card. And install it in twrp and you're done.

Hey area51 , you also have a telus one .. thanx for all ur advices .. I am now loocking for the roms .. hard to chose ...
I can flash anyone of them ? regardless of the firmware version ? or the kernel .. etc etc .. the only thing that matters is that the rom is for htc one x (evita, telus) ?? or do I need to be carfull with versions etc etc ??
last question .. Can I do what DevineLord said and only flash the CWM-SuperSU-v0.97.zip in the recovery ? will that keep my stock rom and make it rooted?
You can flash anything in this forum. Avoid the international forum as those roms will brick your phone. Not sure if flashing supersu works as I never tried. But it won't hurt you to try it and find out. I'm curious too. As far as which Rom to flash. Try them all! Play with the settings in each one and see which suits your needs the best.
We recommend reading the last 10 pages or so of the Rom thread to see what issues people are experiencing

Hey guys, can anyone help with this situation?
My housemate got a sensation off eBay and it was working fine, he got an OTA notification and accepted it and it downloaded. Half way through the OTA he pulled the SD card out for some unexplainable reason.
After that it wouldn't go past the HTC splash screen and didn't even show the quietly brilliant part, just HTC over a white background.
The steps I have taken so far are:
Unlock BL
flash twrp
Wipe everything
Flash venom ROM (or whatever its called)
Then reboot.
Now we are still stuck on the same white splash screen.
I'm at a loss here as all my experience with android phones is with nexus devices (nexus s, gnex and N7) and a galaxy s3.
These are all pretty easy to fix if something stupid happens, in the case of the nexuses just fastboot flash factory image or the galaxy s3 can flash with Odin and then order is restored and all is well in the universe.
Is there such a magical tool available for the sensation or any other way to revive it?
TIA.
Nodstuff.

Flash the latest 3.33 RUU (3.33.401.153 for Sensation XE and 3.33.401.53 for Sensation). Be sure to put phone into bootloader before running the RUU

After doing a bit of reading myself I came across RUU's and they looked promising and now that you advise it as well I'm sure its the way to go so thank you.

Did you use flash gui or adb to flash the kernel? hboot 1.14 requires flashing boot image seperatly.

I bought this phone outright, and I don't like the Telstra network so I put an Optus SIM in. Which works just fine, however I now have an issue which may or may not be related. I have unlocked my bootloader, and have obtained root. I cannot get s-off however, tried all the methods in this forum. And when I try to install a new Rom, such as cm10 and all nightly versions, venom viper, and all other Roms I have tried I cannot get passed the start up logo (or I just get a pure black screen). Yes I have waited and waited for extended periods of time but it won't load. No I'm not new to rooted phones, and have followed all insructions properly. Pls help me, I really hate all the Telstra bloatware on my phone.

you have to fastboot flash the boot.img when you are s-on
Only problem is I used that stupid one xl one click toolbox for my root. Which has completely stuffed me up.I should have done it the hard way like I did with my incredible s. I just got lazy. Don't suppose you know how to get s-off, without the one click fixes. Unfortunately they arnt working on this phone to acheive s-off
Sent from my HTC One XL using xda app-developers app
pretty sure you need supercid to s-off here is the s-off thread

and how to get supercid on non att

Not necessarily. It depends on your hboot version I believe.
I've never had to flash the boot image and I haven't done s-off.
@OP - did you need to s-off for any specific reason? You don't need to do this to flash a custom ROM. It's not required unless you want to reove the tampered text from the boot loader.
It makes life easier to have s-off. Besides I have issues with not having full access to something I have bought outright....lol
Sent from my HTC One XL using xda app-developers app
I s-off'd my HOXL because it makes it much safer from my own boneheaded mistakes. If I had done something silly like flashing the OTA RUU then I wouldn't be completely screwed.
