Hi, I have a LG Optimus L7 P705G w/ a software version of V10e-Aug 10 2012 and a kernel version of 3.0.8-perf.
I have read on this link http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1906133 but I can't reply on the thread since I'm new here.
I just to be sure if my phone is supported or not.
And if it is supported, what firmware to use?

OK, for all those who have doubts in rooting their precious L7 specially who are afraid to flash their phone. Then go to this thread:

Just skip the flashing and go directly to step no. 3, be sure to install the lg drivers.
and for all those who want to try and flash other versions of the firmware and also want to try the custom rom created by Abhinandh Ajay then go to this link

Yes you can get your stock ROM back. Just goto Google and search 'upgrade lg optimus p500 to gingerbread'. Choose the LG phones website. They will give you the instructions alongwith the stock firmware. I would have myself posted the link but since I am new, I am not allowed to post any links.
NOTE:This process will completely reset your phone.

You might have to root your android first, because mostly a custom rom required a rooted phone.

Seems you didn't try or searched properly. I rooted it, removed all bloatware & chinese apps, flashed google apps (Mine was on 2.3.5). Only problem is that boot loader is locked so difficult to flash any ROM, but anyway I didn't want to flash ROM. I like a lot of things about this chinese ROM. Mine is working perfectly except one issue that Hangout doesn't detect my front camera.

After rooting I installed the Tamil Font by replacing the DROID FALL BACK.TTF file when i restart the phone it becomes bricked and can not be reboot from system recovery. please help me to recover it

If you have usb debugging enabled, you can use adb to push system font back & reboot, And after installing tamil font & replacing system font always change the permission & ownership.
If you don't have usb debugging enabled, then you can do a factory restore from stock recovery option.

SUT & Super One Click can be downloaded from anywhere, just search Google for latest version, rest is attached.

Given how long this device has been around, there are plenty of guides on how to achieve what you want - you just need to search and read.
As a hit though, the Stock ICS ROM was cr4p - it was only really released for developers to modify and build from. If you want ICS then use one of the many custom ROMs on here, but please don't ask which one; read the threads, decide what features you want and then try some of them.

tried each and every method on net but Mobile uncle is not working and giving security error if I try to boot to recovery and SP FLASH Tool is unable to flash anything to my D686 ... its always at 0% even after following each step precisely in:

Now I have even tried on Win7 X64 with SP Flash tool and 'Flash Tool' provided by MediaTek themself also with the tuorials provided on Chinaphonearena forum ... but none worked... Really LG engineers have done something to their MediaTek devices ... :/

Same here I am facing the same problem since last 2 days and finally I have understood that our PC or LG phones are not ready to run in compliance with the MTK /ADB drivers for SP Flash tool as a result SP Flash tool is unable to flash anything/create backup and if I am trying with Mobile Uncle Tools I am getting security error...

Yeah, then I'm right, LG modified drivers or something, that's why we can't flash thru the tools :/
