ROM Toolbox Pro CPU Control Not Working? - Asus Transformer TF700

Hey all,
Any ideas why ROM Toolbox Pro's CPU Control center would not be working on this device? I am running ASUS stock JB ROM, unlocked and rooted with NvFlash access. I have never seen this issue before, even on my TF101. See attached screenshot for what I am talking about.

Not only do the sliders and Governor return to this state after setting and returning (attempting to set the max to 1700 [I know there's not much of a purpose, but you will see why in a second] and the Governor to performance), the max GHz seems to be maxed out at 1500 which is very odd.
I tried looking for a kernel that supported overclocking but didn't find any, anyone know if I am just flat out missing something?

I have tried a few CPU control apps and most of them are not working too well with JB on tf700. The only one I found that works is SetCPU, it recorded my max/ min and governor perfectly. (1700max and 50min), both settings are working well. Currently, there is no kernel that supported Over clocking.

[Q] Best Governor for Gaming?

I know this is kinda vague because of the amount devices with various governors.
Its just I want the best performance for gaming and would like some advice since I don't actually concern myself with governors often. To specify the list I currently have these -
{
"lightbox_close": "Close",
"lightbox_next": "Next",
"lightbox_previous": "Previous",
"lightbox_error": "The requested content cannot be loaded. Please try again later.",
"lightbox_start_slideshow": "Start slideshow",

"lightbox_download": "Download",
"lightbox_share": "Share",
"lightbox_zoom": "Zoom",
"lightbox_new_window": "New window",
"lightbox_toggle_sidebar": "Toggle sidebar"
}
Now its currently on performance as I think this might be best for gaming although I could be 100% wrong.
Does overclocking or underclocking affect the overall games?
I'm mainly using Emulators, at times they seem to drop fps for seconds other times the game seems to just run slow. I know a concern is I'm running ICS.
I'm on a almost 3 year old device but one that has made a legacy - Droid Incredible.
Any advice?

You're right, the performance governor should give you the best gaming experience, for more detailed information on governorns, look here:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1369817
If you are still dissatisfied with the performance of your phone, there might be an option where you can choose the max. cpu frequency, and by giving it a bigger value, you can overclock your phone. But be advised that this can damage your phone, and you might run into some warranty issues if you do that. So be warned, and do it for your own responsibility. I'm not responsible to any damage it does to your phone. Hope that helps.

Thanks for the info, helped greatly.
I already knew about Max/min values
I was just curious if they affected game performance, either way this helped a lot.

Poor Androbench score...

My brand new 32GB TF300 with around 10 apps installed gets a pretty bad Androbench score. I'm enjoying the tablet but the score is disappointing. I have completed the test multiple times and even disabled syncing.

Also, just to add I'm stock/unrooted.
And running the latest Jelly Bean firmware...
It would also be good other users could post their scores too...
The low scores are due to crappy I/O performance from the pad. It seems to be a hardware limitation, since no update has exponentially speed up the device. You can get better scores using custom ROMs and Kernels, and using data2sd with a high speed sdcard. But remember installing custom ROMs requires that you unlock you device, which in turn voids your warranty with ASUS.

I knew that before I bought the TF300.
I like the tablet (even though it occasionally lags). I just wondered if my scores were unusually bad.
nope. normal.... cm10+untermunch's kernel = fast
This is the kind of scores you can get rooted and romed but no data to SD on this device yet so can get even better

New MK902 AND IT'S AWESOME!

I just received my 902 a few days ago and was having some trouble with it rebooting. I in staked supersu and busy box straight from play store and have full root. Then I used setcpu to set the CPU to max and run on performance. Going to leave it like this until there's a custom rom made. Hoping somebody picks this device up to start devving on it. It's really got a LOT of potential. Anybody else rocking this box? The Rii air mouse paired with this thing is killer.
GNote3
ive order it also...so now waiting state
The rii mouse is it the same as MK702 II ?
I've got one ordered from eBay China, should be here in 2-3 weeks. Keep us posted with your findings.
Ive fished my box with neo's new rom over on freaktab. I must say it's a must have for this box. No issues at all anymore. Running full 1080p with OC CPU, GPU, and RAM. Beyond xbmc 3.3 running like a champ. All addons I've tried work great.
GNote3
Also if your running stock rom and it's good enough for you but you want root, all you have to do is download SuperSU from playstore and choose normal way to update. And then your rooted.
GNote3
guys what results do u get in "antutu" ? i have like 16000+ with 1.4 Mhz CPU
On Minix i have 18000+ with 1.6Ghz
Can someone confirm? Thanks

kworker/Android OS Battery Issues

Hello all,
I'm hoping someone can help me figure out what exactly is causing these issues as I've tried all sorts and I can't figure it out.
I'm getting battery drain via android OS (kworker process according to BBS) and I don't know what's causing it. I've attached some screen shots to highlight the problem;
{
"lightbox_close": "Close",
"lightbox_next": "Next",
"lightbox_previous": "Previous",
"lightbox_error": "The requested content cannot be loaded. Please try again later.",

"lightbox_download": "Download",
"lightbox_share": "Share",
"lightbox_zoom": "Zoom",
"lightbox_new_window": "New window",
"lightbox_toggle_sidebar": "Toggle sidebar"
}
As you can see my phone isn't even awake according to the battery summary screen.
Does anyone know what could be causing this? Or how I can figure out what (app?) is using the kworker process?
I've restored my phone to stock, clean flashed mahdi and installed an earlier version of AK kernel (v068) that I know for certain I didn't have these issues on. However, I'm still getting the issue on a setup I know for certain I wasn't having any issues on a couple of weeks ago.
I've also tried restoring a nandroid from a few weeks ago that I know for certain didn't have any issues (I keep a backlog of 5 previous nandroids each time I update my kernel etc to try and ensure I always have 1 stable version) but I'm still getting the issue on that too.
Thanks for any advice/suggestions.
Anyone? It's driving me crazy! Haha
I'm still getting decent battery life despite this process error, it's just before this I was averaging 0.2% per hour while idle, I'm now averaging 0.6%
Should I be looking for an app as a culprit or is it the kernel/rom or something else completely? I'm guessing it's not the kernel/rom as I've ran this setup before without issues, but what I have managed to find on the kworker process online is that it's kernel related. :s
Just for information for anyone who finds this thread after having similar issues, I've solved it, I still have some kworker CPU time but that's to be expected - its MUCH lower than it was in the screenshots above.
One of or all of the following reduced my kworker process CPU times to a reasonable amount.
Set Wifi Ip address to static rather than dhcp on home network
Changed CPU governor from smartmax to intellimm (ak kernel)
Disabled all services in "Google play services" containing "location.reporting"

Probably you misunderstood thread a bit, but nvm, i'll explain
This thread is dedicated for parameter suggestions and testing, by that I mean, that anyone can suggest parameters change, own formulas and so on.

Sorry !
Howdy, Nice app.
The values for the intelliactive governor are wrong for the Samsung Galaxy S4. The correct values are in the screenshot.

What values are wrong?? target_loads for interactive governor?
Don't worry about it, kernel will chose the closest possible freq, that's the way of how it's work.
