I am having multiple issues with Bluetooth on TouchPro2:
Issue # 1 with no solution
When trying to end calls using the end button of Jawbone Prime, it does not work, you must end call using the handset.
Issue # 2 (New)
When ending calls with any Bluetooth device (in my case built in Bluetooth in Nissan Altima) the calls will not terminate, have to press end button many time before calls ends
Are there any Bluetooth registry hacks that may solve either one of these issue?

I see the same issue. Sorry no solution.
I confirm same end issue ....although until reading above i didnt know it stemed outside of the plagued nissan vehicles with navigation.
I have a lot of confidence that this will be fixed sooner rather than later since it is now affecting everyday bt headsets vs. one isolated group of nissan / infinity vehciles.
For those who own this phone and a nissan / infinity. we will take this partial victory as it has been a long two years since the last known phone from htc that worked correctly with our cars was a mogul with WM5 / before that the apache.
Its nice to have a working touchpro 2 and nissan ...even if its not 110% with the disconnect issue.
I have an 08 Nissan with the Bose/Communications/convenience package, and my bluetooth worked fine with my i760, xv6800, and Touch Pro. But I experience the disconnect issue as well now with my TP2. Must be the new HTC drivers.
We'll standby for a patch. But I'm pretty sure even though the time keeps running on the radio, that the call still disconnects. In any case, it isn't right, and I doubt we'll see it when we get patched to 6.5.
FYI, from my research this is the widcom stack on the TP2. I thought i read that in the tmobile TP2 forum.
That would explain why it works because microsoft rarely fixes things on windows mobile.
If so it only more confirms ms at fault and not nissan.
The nav radio was always different than the non nav bose radio in the nissans. Different BT modules i believe.
That would explain why you didnt have the problems that so many others did.
I might be wrong on the widcom stack but I woudl think the tmobile and cdma variety are using same chipsets and drivers. for the BT radio
BMW bluetooth
Same issues on BMW bluetooth
Having simmular problems with an JVC BT1 specielly if i use AD2P at the same time.. phone can lag for like 10-20-30 sec someethimes even more....
Getting VERY tired of this!
several BT issues
I seem to be having the same issue as most of the post on this thread ...my headset, and my Infiniti will not end my call , but has anyone else had a problem just trying to get the bluetooth to open from comm manager or settings ? When I try to turn on Bluetooth through my comm manager it says cant turn on bluetooth , and when I try trough settings it says cannot start the Blutooth stack ???? If i do a soft reset BT will work but if i disabale and try to connect again im having the same issue ....some one help me out
TP2 sprint
have exact same issue with my parrot MK6100
have to press end call many time on the remote to end the call sucessfully
Me too, also using Parrot 6100
The bluetooth is a nightmare. I have a Pioneer AVIC-F90BT with v3 software and I can't even answer the phone when it rings. I even sent to phone to automatically answer after 1 ring and when BT is connected it just freezes the dialer. Then when I hang up a call the phone freezes for about 20 seconds. It sucks so bad.
verizon tp2, jawbone prime.
from prime: I can initiate voicecalling. I can answer a call. I just cannot end a call from the headset.
I think the blue tooth issues are due to the locking of the fm raido they reside on the same chip they talk about this on ppcgeeks
I have issues with my Ford Sync as well. If bluetooth is on and I want to use the Sync system I have to turn off bluetooth then turn it back on to get it to work. Quite annoying. I never had any issues with my XV6800 so it must be the bluetooth radio in the phone. Hopefully they come out with an update or when 6.5 is out it gets fixed.
WITHOUT DOUBT THE BLUETOOTH on the TP2. I have the same issue with Parrot 3200. It may be that different drivers would help.
Anyone been brave enough to try anything else?
Ditto here, but I'll take it a step farther:
I'm using a Jawbone Prime with my Verizon Touch Pro2 and it's not only unable to end calls from the headset, but it will disconnect the headset at random in the middle of calls. The only way I figure it out is to pick up the phone when I can't hear anything, only to find the "headset disconnected, place the handset to your ear" message.
Annoying.

Same setup and results here, and additionally the redial last number feature is spotty at best.
When HardSPL comes out, I'm going to offer a bounty for $50 for whoever can get the MS stack working correctly on our devices with all profiles. Anyone else in with me?

Seeing exact same random disconnect issue with my jawbone prime and my sprint touch pro 2. It happened twice today. One time I was speaking and didn't even realize it had happened for several minutes! Any fix for this?
I contacted HTC over this. The more people that complain about it to HTC, the quicker they will release a fix.

I am in. I need the MS stack for my wireless keyboard and mouse.
Hello all!
I've got this very weird problem. When I make or receive calls, the headset mic does not work at all. It is not just weak, it's completely muted! I thought it was a hardware error, but I downloaded a voice memo apk and noticed that the headset mic worked there! So it must be a software issue.
Some important details: my phone is a rooted 2.2 XXJPM with lagfix installed. I had audioboost 1.6, mixget and the alsa libraries installed, and removed them to see if that fixed the problem, but it didn't. I still think though that in the process of installing alsa I must have messed something up.
Any help will be greatly appreciated! Thanks in advance!
Yiannos.
Same Issue
I just started having the same issue not too long ago. The headset mic can be used for voice commands, voice recording, etc. But, it does not work on calls. The mic is not muted and I can hear the other party just fine. I have tried two different headsets with the same result.
Any thoughts out there? It may have happened when I was playing with Sipdroid and GV. I uninstalled all of that but is it possible that they did not uninstall cleanly leading to this problem? BTW, the headset worked fine with SIPdroid.
Any help is appreciated.
I just bought the Jawbone Icon blue tooth headset as i wanted to upgraded bluetooths and this was on sale. now the problem im having is i can pair and connect to the device, i push the talk button and hear the device voice say "jawbone is ready to connect " after its all connected and everything appears to be running good , (blue tooth icon on phone showing connectivity, led on the icon showing its connected), no audio can be heard through the headset and i am unsure if i can be heard by the other person through blue tooth. At one time the audio trasmitted back came through speaker phone which baffled me as speaker phone wasnt on. Please help i dont want a $70 bluetooth that doesnt have any use.
Btw Ive tried this on 3 different roms, GB update no bugs (basic GB Rom i flashed when GB first came out), CM7, and GB with a couple different things changed. Im unsure if this is A2dp related. the bluetooth device has worked 1 time successfully for me
That's strange. I've used my jawbone icon on stock froyo, official gb update, and now weapon g2x, and it's worked flawlessly.
I have narrowed the problem to this, i might be settings and i will re-read the user manual when i finish working, once blue tooth is connected, if i make call through phone and anticipate having call through blue tooth no go, that's when i experience my problem, if i hold the talk button and initiate the call through voice dialing it works... strange any ideas?
Idk but it works on my phone. Using cm7.
Sent from my LG-P999 using xda premium
I just got the charge today, and one issue is killing me. I drive about 6 hours per day. My android phone is connected to my stereo via the 3.5mm headphone jack. I use this to listen to music. On every other android phone i've had(beside the epic 4g), when i get a call, the music pauses, and when i press the button on my bluetooth, it answers the call, and my audio going out is picked up by the bluetooth, and the call audio coming in is heard through the bluetooth.
This phone for some reason tries to route audio through the 3.5 jack, even though the bluetooth answered the phone. worse yet, i can't find a way to switch it.
On the epic 4g this guy made an apk to hot fix the issue. Could someone port this by chance?

THanks!
I had sold my charge a while back, but just eneded up buying one again. Anyone made progress on this issue? Thanks!
Hey - it seems the fix near the end of that thread you referenced does the trick. Flash this in cwm recovery. It should work on any FP1 or EP4D (haven't checked others) ROM - stock or custom - but as I have no bluetooth stuffs I haven't tested this thoroughly to see if anything else happens as a result of the minor change. Hope this helps folks!
Hi,
I've got an interesting problem and was hoping someone here knows the solution.
I'm running CleanRom 5.6 on my Galaxy S3 I use the built in Android swyping keyboard, and it in turn uses Google Voice recognition. I like it because it shows what it is typing as I say it, versus Swype's delayed typing of voice recognized text.
Here is the problem. If my Jawbone bluetooth headset is set to media audio, then the Google Voice red button never turns red, and I can't use it. If I a) turn Bluetooth off then it works, or B) if I turn off media audio to Bluetooth while leaving call audio enabled, then the voice recognition works.
But all of this is a pain in the ass, and I'd really like to be able to use the Google voice recognition with Bluetooth and media audio left on.
So far the only kluge fix I have found is to hit the volume up or down key on the phone, which for some reason, instantly activates the magic red button. This is better than what some people suggest, turning on the Touch Sounds (which makes an annoying noise every time you touch the screen.)
Has anyone figured out a workaround for this problem? Please don't tell me to turn media audio off, as I use it a lot to listen to podcasts. Maybe there's a hacked version of the android keyboard that I could use. Or perhaps it is something in CleanRom, although I doubt it.
Believe it or not, I do a lot of writing on my phone and would really like to fix this problem. Thanks for your help.

Thank you for starting this thread, hopefully someone figures it out and responds, but your question has already been helpful to me:victory: I only use voice typing when I am in the car, with the phone connected to the bluetooth radio for media only, so I didnt even realize it only occurred in that situation, plus I intend to try your volume trick as well.:fingers-crossed: Previously, I had to start-cancel-start-cancel-start until it would work. Not exactly hands-free.
I also run Clean Rom, specifically CleanRom 6.0 R2. I also had it on my previous version of CleanRom, so it might be worthwhile to try a different rom flavor entirely, and see if the problem is still there. If anyone has this problem that is not on CleanRom, speak up!

Yup, I have the same issue. Plantronics BT earpiece with Media and Voice. Cleanrom 5.6 R2.
Volume rocker switch trick works, but, that really isn't a good alternative for car operation.
