On CM9.1, I have used both a wired headset and bluetooth, and don't have the issue. If bluetooth, it could be that the headset is being used for media only instead of a full headset. This would result in the mic not being recognized.
Maybe I buy a Bluetooth headset then, if I do I got to get the dual device ones.

Only problem m not switch to GenetICS or ICysnap is BLUETOOTH TETHERING.
When i connect GPRS via bluetooth tethering to my PC. It normally connnects but after 15 min or less , its simply disconnects & never connects again untill phone reboots. This problem only comes with ICS rom, Previously it was working perfectly in Gingerbread
Any solutions ?????

8013 here, rooted stock 4.1.2.
When I stream audio via Bluetooth to an external speaker, the wifi slows down immensely and also disconnects and reconnects intermittently to my router. Anyone else have this problem/have heard of this problem?

So I connect my phone through bluetooth in my car but I don't have a mic connected to the stereo right now. I do have a bluetooth headset and wanted to know if I could use that as a mic and have the sound out through the speakers..

I believe you can but I'm not 100%. What you would do is connect to both of them then select the device and it should let you check off which functions you want to use on each device.
My svnscomg s600 Bluetooth stereo headset doesn't show Bluetooth address for pairing but in my brother's iPhone working like a charm please any one help!!!!
