just completed,now share with you,this only work for deodex rom,
this is a flashable zip,you can via cwm to flash this
before flash this,suggestion made a backup.

Good work, The more the better for our device
Gr8 work... Things are starting to build momentum here with gokhaz working on siyah kernel soon we will see more and more developers shifting boats all we need now is a proper fuzz free all in one root method for our device.. let's all send a request to chain fire and hope he honors us with his presence in this forum

I already have all in one root method but it's not ready to be released yet.
I have my Samsung Quick Root application out already so I need to release the insecure kernels for our device.
The other method follows in the footsteps of my popular Pre-Rooted ROM thread for Galaxy S II. I will release the Pre-Rooted Galaxy S III LTE ROMS in due course.

You can ask in the same thread, a couple of people are trying to compile CM7, maybe you can help each other it's a bit of a mess because we don't have a forum section but when you have time, read from the beginning to understand what had happened with the phone and maybe you are the one who can give us our 1st custom ROM!

We do not have many developers, but we have good developers.
Now we have CM10 on going, it is useless (no call), but works wifi and 3G data, and i think we will have a stable rom soon, because they work very fast.
I have this phone and i am satisfied with support of friends of forums.

Yes cwm is necessary for installation for cm10 otherwise u won't be able to flash the zip.
You can also use cwm with stock rom.

Encryption
Has anyone successfully encrypted their Burst with any of the ROMs? I could not get any of the JB ROMs to encrypt, only a ICS ROM (Gizmolord) worked. Is anyone running a ROM with the device encrypted? Any additional problems with the ROM if you are?

I thought S7500's was the same case as S5830's regarding the "L" thing...
In S5830L it means it's distributed in Latin America, but hardware is the same as S5830. The official CM for Galaxy Ace (cooper) is for S5830. I still have S5830L, installed CM on it and it worked. Only thing is, it changed the device name from S5830L to S5830. And also I asked that because since I live in Latin America the only Ace Plus I can get is S7500L.
Are you actually porting from Xperia instead of building?
And where can I find the S7500L kernel repository you ask?

a team mate is not online with us
a kernel expert (he know to properly setup sources and me cant do anything related to kernel)

it may take time 1-2 months
as im having final exams on 22nd of this month
and my mates are preparing custom roms for you all

Since Mini 2 is running on the same chip, the kernel for Mini 2 is also compatible with Ace Plus. I just needs an updated defconfig.

What "official sources" do you need in order for CM10 kernel to support overclocking? (I could use my time to look for it since I'm just a useless user....)
That'd be an almost imperative feature, and if you say "make it yourself and f*** off", well, sorry for not being developers like you (registration on this site should be restricted to dev-only...); or also that's why you *are* the devs and are announcing this possible work so we are indeed allowed to expect things from you...
Or, sorry for not being A D U L T devs like you. I can't express what I think about most of adults (most, not all) here because of the forum rules......

i can explain you, how to modify the files, so can can istall the rom BUT i really don't know if its compatible or may be your phone starts to scream and run away...
Seems to be a realistic scenario besides a BRICK
i9100g is produced later with a completely different CPU and GPU chipset. With my HTC One S it is the same, i had trouble to get an "old" S4 variant, which is quite better.
Just try outa rom compatible to your phone pls.

let me help you a lil bit now
download the ported rom for the g device and the normal rom version , then open the gdevice rom with a zip explorer(7zip or winrar) and the orig rom , then take the files from system/app / framework / fonts /media from the orig rom and paste them over the ported rom inside the system folder (you'll replace them) and then do the same thing with the preload folder , this one you just take it and replace it with the ported one
and then follow the instructions of how to flash from the ported rom thread and see if it will boot
now you should have the new nr version ported on the old version base

C'mon devs care about us too
More custom rom K users mean more contribution to the Edge community, meaning future contributions that we may add to the N915 habitat may be usefull for you guys as well right ?
So please keep us in the loop and include the K variant compilations to your releases..

just to clarify thelink you provided is for custom recovery (CWM) and not for rooting right?
or installing the CWM will also root the phablet?
anyways I guess those who wanna keep the stock bootloader yet wanna have root should still do it via the n910k solution which was out for Note 4 (not edge)

Theoretically if you flash CWM via ODIN and install SuperSU afterwards you will also root the device .
Personally I've done it using the SM-N915S method from here :http://forum.xda-developers.com/note-edge/general/info-galaxy-note-edge-sm-n915-t2945942

So did you use the SM-N915S zip file to root your n915K o4 did you use the note 4's n910k zip file?
I hear people soft brick their devices because of incompatibility of device/zip pairs.

I have used the SM-N915S file , it's safe , confirmed by other users.

When i first got the phone i root with cf auto root for 915s
then i install cwm for 915s
i installed upintheair rom and kernel which he started for S and now its for S,K, L
i am running with jafangel V3 rom now which he build from 915S and mixed with upintheair kernel.

seems there are more development from the S
lucky for the K

Hey, i recently got this device(SM-N9007) so im just introducing myself around this sub-forum
You may have seen me recently around the Amlogic based Android TV forums aswell as the Galaxy S3 forum where i almost completely ported the S5 UI to the Galaxy S3(Revolutionary S5 ROM).
I look forward to making ROMs and kernels for this device and speaking/working with some of you!
Step 1.. lets drop the old samsung UI and get with the times!
Step 2.. Probably a kernel.
Step 3.. An easier alternative to root.

From what i can tell i may be able to use one rom for both with installer script modifcation
