My whenever I use sVoice, it saves stuff to the Samsung Calendar. This doesn't help me as I am downloading a new rom every 2 or 3 days. I am constantly losing my stuff. I also debloat, so I don't want to use the standard Samsung sync functionality.
Idealy...sVoice would save to my google calendar....for events and tasks.....
Anybody looking into this?

I have an HTC Evo 4G and I was wondering if anybody can suggest an alternate program for the program that will enable me to make notes on individual days, i noticed that you can only setup appointments and what not in the stock calender. i'm trying to record information for each day, is there any good apps that will be able to do this? i've tried different types of apps like calwidget and s2 calender but those dont give me the option to add notes to specific days. I would also like to find a program that can do recurring appointments better then the stock calender, i dont believe im able to make a recurring twice a week appointment. =\ thank you very much for any suggestions!

Hi there, the other day i decided to (after a fair bit of reading) root my Wildfire that i have had for the last year with no problems. I have decided to go with the DK_Custom_Froyo v 4.6.2.
After doing so i set about putting some programs back on and getting rid of some of the standard bloatware, such as you tube, adobe reader, pico, rss reader etc.
I have found that my calendar cannot/will not sync with my googlemail account. I have data linked with navigation and google maps, where my starred places can be synced.
I am trying to look into the source of the problem but seen as its taken me over a year to have the bottle to root my phone im not that technically gifted when it comes to phones. (i'll quite happily strip down a car and rebuild it) A couple of the symptoms are:
1. When i add a event there is no calendar to add to then when i click save, it opens a box stating that its 'loading calendars' but would do that all day if i left it.
2. When i goto settings>accounts and sync>google, and try to manually sync the sync com.andriod.calendar, i get a message stating that 'sync is currently experiencing. It will be back shortly'
Everything else syncs such as the weather and facebook.
I like the calendar as i've got used to using it and the layout but obviously i'd rather have a working calendar where i can sync all my appointments and birthdays.
Is the problem with the custom rom?
Any Help or advise on this problem is greatly appreciated.
anyone? Still having problems
The calendar app on the S3 has a "tasks" option but I noticed whatever I try to do, i cant seem to somehow get it connected to my google tasks. I'm assuming they're two different things, is that correct?
Good morning!
I have been looking for a calendar for a long time, but can't seem to find one that is simple, standalone and works without google or any other pre-existing stock calendar app.
It seems odd to me that such an app doesn't exist at all, hence my question to you.
I have tried several "offline" calendar apps, such as simple calendar (layout was so small to the point that it is unreadable) and offline calendar (can't create a calendar)
Is there a standalone (offline) calendar app? it doesn't matter if it is paid or not.
I am currently running Cyanogenmod 13.0 (android 6.01) on a rooted zuk z2 device.
The main reason for having a completely standalone calendar app is privacy. I need my calendar data to remain offline and not communicating with other apps. It seems awfully hard to get this done.
Any suggestion is appreciated!
Hey there,
i just got a new Google Pixel and i was wondering if its not possible to disable some apps to sync constantly. For example i dont want facebook to sync constantly but the other apps should do that.
Is there any way to adjust that?
Thanks in advance.
jackiie!
