Just got a note 10.1 and I am trying to configure properly the calendar.
I see thta, besides the google calendars that I have in google and sync with my [hone, on the note there are also two samsung calendars: I can choose not to sync them, but I'd rather delete them as well. Any way?
Thanks

I'm trying to use the Samsung account cloud sync on my note 10.1 to sync my S-Notes with my new Note II. It appears that this should sync S-Notes, and some contacts/calendar data. Curious to see if it even syncs pen marks from one instance of S-Planner to another. Mostly interested in S-Note sync. I know I can do it with dropbox/dropsync but wanted to try using the built-in method first.
On my Note II I have no problem with sync. On my Galaxy Note 10.1 though I always get an error saying that sync was not available and try back later. Using both devices on the same network, so it's not a network issue. I've also removed and added the account back and still get the sync error on my Note 10.1. Has anyone else used the Samsung cloud sync. (1) Will it sync S-Notes between devices and (2) Any troubleshooting recommendations on the Note 10.1? I have the 8013 variety, connected to Wifi and using Android Revolution HD 4.4 and have used Triangle Away and "picky" apps like AllShare Cast work fine.
I'm switching from a SIII to an S5 and I noticed in my S5 that there is no way to sync the Google Bookmarks. When this happened with the 4.2 or 4.3 update on the SIII, I installed the BookMarkSync.apk and it solved the issue. I tried installing the BookMarkSync.apk on the S5 but it didn't work.
Does anyone have a fix for this? Thank you in advance for any help or advice!

What browsers are you using? My bookmarks automatically synced with Chrome. If you use a Samsung account you can sync bookmarks with the stock browser that way.
For the Samsung account -
Move your bookmarks to the default browser on your S3,create a Samsung account on your S3 and sync your bookmarks to the account. Then go the default browser on your S5 -> account -> sync your bookmarks.

Hi there,
I was going through the same issue till I found someone online who had it solved.
In your settings list go to "user and backup" and choose "accounts"
go to your "google" account and choose the user you wish to sync (there are people who have multiple google emails linked to their phones and i'm one of them)
Scroll down in your sync settings after clicking on the account name towards "sync chrome"
Make sure your mark it as on
This should fix the problem as it did on my device.
Do share with us if it worked or not.
Cheers and good luck
Hi all,
Just bought a Tab S (T800), rooted and flashed CM-11.
After some speed bumps, I got Gapps package (pa-gapps-modular-full-4.4.4-20141121-signed.zip) flashed as well.
All seems to be working, except for Calendar.
Regardless of whether I use the stock Google calendar app, or a third party calendar, I continually get the same message: "No calendars selected to syncronize".
And although in either app, I can go to the list of calendars to select, both lists are empty. Yet, on my phone, and on my desktop machine, I can see and access all of my calendars (I have about 8 different calendars set up in Google, each for different types of events).
I tried disabling the calendar from Settings/Apps/All/Calendar, clearing data, and then re-enabling, but that hasn't improved the situation either.
Also, going into Settings/Account/Google/<my account>, I can see all the options for Sync books, Sync play music, Sync newsstand, and so on, but there is no Sync calendar.
Anyone got any ideas on how to get my calendar apps to see the calendars I have set up in my Google account?
Thanks in advance!
I just helped my mom switch from her S3 to a S5. Under Settings>Accounts>Google, there is no way to turn Sync on. I can "Sync all" or manually sync each type of app - App Data, Calendar, Contacts, Drive, etc.
I have used "Sync all" and tapped to sync Calendar. It last synced just a minute ago. However, the calendar events are not showing up in my mom's Google account anywhere besides the S3. The S3 is connected to wifi.
I have checked and the Gmail address is the same everywhere - she only has one Google account.
How can I get her Calendar events synced to her Google account?
Edit: it looks like "My calendar" means the Samsung calendar. Those events show up in her Google Calendar on the S3, but nowhere else. I think I need to change the Samsung calendar events to Google Calendar events. Is there any way to do that? An export from Samsung Calendar? It's looking unlikely. This is absurd and unacceptable.
Edit2: Someone elsewhere suggesting using a third-party app called iCal Export. I was able to export the My Calendar events and import them into Google Calendar. It seems to be a successful workaround.
I just used the beta of this and it seems like a one way sync from Samsung Notes to One Note. What I would hopefully like is a two way sync. Is that possible?
I have only been able to get the Samsung Notes showing up on the outlook feed online. Do ou see your Samsung Notes on the onenote Android app?
